The room was very nice, comfortable, and cozy, and the bathroom lighting was warm and pleasant. However, there are two things that could definitely be improved. First, the conditioner in the bathroom seemed spoiled -- it looked like decomposed milk, so we could not use it. Second, breakfast was not included, and when I asked the night before about the breakfast hours, we were told it was served until 11:00 AM. The next morning, however, we were told the schedule had changed, even though the paper with the hotel information had not been updated. At 10:50 AM, they told us that if we wanted, we could pay for lunch instead. Honestly, I thought it was a joke.

Maybe I should not write reviews when I'm emotional but here goes: it's a Sunday morning decided to grab a booking so I didn't have to book it across town after an event last night. I closed the blinds, turned off all my cell phone alarms and nestled into the high quality sheets and BAM! what the? Woke up to the sounds of two dogs barking. Wait this is a dream. No. is that in the room next to me? That's right you got it, I am sleeping in a dog friendly hotel. Good news is Rover can stay the night, but if you plan on sleeping in, maybe even just a wink, don't plan on it. You may be staying in a room next to Cujo and his brother. Omg no way. Ok, so I call downstairs to mention the dog barking. But. It continues. I decide to just get out. I mean, check out. So I spoke to the manager who is pleasant, but I'm in such a bad mood I Didn't even want to get breakfast. Definitely first world problem, but I strongly suggested that if a hotel guest is going to be placed to room next to a guest with dog said guest should be forewarned, at least. There was not even a sign that this dog friendly hotel. No dog treats in the lobby no nothing. Just the sound of two rabid sounding dogs. The Hyatt grounds are nice. It is in Baytown after all. If you your best friend is barking for Pete's sake , take them on a walk. They have pent up energy, unlike their owners do, for allowing them to bark as if their lives depended on it. Unacceptable 1/5. stars do not recommend unless you have behaved dogs.

The pools were not clear and the pools are honestly 1990 pools. The water splash pad was not on and the seating was faded. The street signs are peeling and need to be updated especially on the important roads that lead to the properties and amenities. Its like no one updates or up keeps the pools or any amenities. There was bee hives on the playgrounds old decking. Looks like the buyers who purchased in 2017 had better times there cause as of now theres nothing to do did I mention the roads are very bumpy.

The room was also very clean and smelled very nice. We loved how the bed felt! It was super comfortable and the pillows and sheets were just right. The room was super quiet and you couldn't hear any road noise. The tv had a streaming option where you can sign in to your accounts and pickup where you left off. It signed you out automatically when you exited it. The breakfast in the morning down stairs was very good and tasty and the area was very clean. Thank you SpringHill Suites for an excellent hotel stay! Look forward to staying again! The ONLY negative thing I saw in the room was from the person that did the finish work around our suite with the caulk gun during construction did a very bad job and made a terrible mess of it. My room was exceptionally clean and they service the room on a daily basis. The area is quiet as well. The whole parking lot area is well lit for safety. You will need to provide your own cookware. Walmart is 2 miles up the road for groceries. Laundry room is nice and costs 2.00 per wash and the same for the dryer. All in all a great place that is comfortable and safe. When I'm in this area again and need to stay somewhere convenient, I hope they have a vacancy. Five stars!!!

Don't stand still outside for too long or you'll be swarmed in ants. Careless lawn care. They do it while everyone's home. Their contractors walk between your camper and vehicle. One walked by with a weed whacker over his shoulder and hit my trailer while I'm sitting there. Didn't have issues with staff which was good. Park isn't so strict as you'd expect. Broken vechocles in spot, shabby and moldy trailers. My neighbor had cig butts everywhere, locals use the laundry room in the park like a laundry mat. Laundry room is shabby mix matched machines and unventilated. Highest prices for everything and the worst quality that I've come across.

While we were there, the adjacent property had construction equipment running all day, and they were tearing down trees along the water's edge outside the park fence and leveling the ground. Our site was on the East side backed up to the property under construction. The noise didn't bother us too much as it was mostly during the day. I walked my leashed pup around the park a few times a day. They had pet clean up stations around the park to pick up after your pet. There was a pavilion with BBQ grill that you could use, as well as a playground for the kids. They also had a pool up by the office inside a gated area with rules posted. It was a good stop on our trip and I may return again if I'm in the area.
