Termites falling from top vent (which has a screen)

Termites, unless you want these bugs getting into your expensive RV and destroying it do not stay here. Upper management will not do anything about it and will laugh in your face; they have an entitled smug attitude towards their customers at least the older lady I tried to talk to, had to hang up on her because her attitude was atrocious.

My husband and I stay at a lot of RV parks because of his work and I would have to say that this is by far one of the best ones we have been to. Office staff are very nice, Park is clean , they have security that comes around often, and it is quiet when it needs to be so you get the sleep you need for work the next day. The only thing I see that needs attention is maybe the laundry room needs air conditioning and the people that mow their grass need to be replaced because they suck at their job, they pick and choose the high grass that they weed eat. It just looks tacky.

Enough said!! Should be 5-10 mph in my opinion, but the park is NOT KID FRIENDLY

Only giving 2 stars because this is a nice park. Rate is 400. For a standard site Per month plus 40.00 extra per month for my 1 year old since they only allow 2 kids in your monthly rate. My electric bill is 300.00 per month!!!! .13 cents per kilowatt. Charged my guest $5.00 per night & for their vehicle $5.00 per night. Charge 40.00 per month to park our boat... First months rent: right at $1000. Plus 50.00 deposit for 2 key cards & 150.00 deposit for electric. Here's the kicker.... First off, I understand you have to make money & I have never complained about paying the noted fees/rents due until we came home today to find out we are being EVICTED after 3 months of stay because our kids ride their bikes in the road!!! Yet, they are kid friendly??!! No!! They said there are too many vehicles that come down our road & are going too fast, yet they haven't kicked them out when the speed limit is suppose to be 15 mph. I watch my children when they are out & tell plenty of people around here to slow down & have complained with no follow ups on their part. This is our "home" so this is where we live. It's a neighborhood. We travel for a living. So, for this residential RV park to say they are kid friendly & charge us an extra 40.00 per month per kid & then kick us out because our kids are riding their bikes down the street & "in the way" is down right BS!! We are happy to leave this park & take our hard earned money somewhere else. FYI if you do have kids.. The "playground" they have listed on their website is 3 swings & a basketball goal. & a mud pit/swamp. Pool is cloudy & reaks of chemicals. Burns kiddos eyes. Treadmills in "gym" don't work. People in front office are rude. They make up rules as they go... They say no satellites in grass yet there are TONS of others around. There's a yard with a freaking trampoline in it!! Hello!!!??? Last time I checked, satellites are smaller than trampolines. But look who we are dealing with here. We are good, clean people who take pride in our family, our home on wheels, our job, & respect the parks property & their rules. But for them to kick us out b/c our kids ride their bikes in the road is ridiculous!! They have signs posted not to ride on the sidewalks & we have followed those rules. They also have signs stating to watch out for children too & speed limit 15mph. If you have children or grandchildren & plan on staying here, please seriously reconsider. They are also kicking another family out for the same reason plus their kids using the bath house facilities. Mine did not but their children did & it was frowned upon. We are disgusted & and pissed off to say the least on how these "people" "manage" this so called resort. We are happy to take our family & 800.00 per month down the road to someone who appreciates families with kids... This place should not allow children to stay. (As plenty others in the area have this rule) Period.**** update**** found out other workers & families are getting kicked out for ridiculous reasons. Looks like they are just picking & choosing who they want in here. Maybe a "good ole boy" type park!! Found another park down the road that is happy to accept our family & the others who have been asked to leave. Definitely WILL NOT recommend this park nor stay here again! Upon checkout we were advised the reason we were asked to leave is because too many people had to watch out for kids in the park riding their bikes. & everyone who has kids was getting a letter.... Don't waste your time nor money!!

The view off the adult pool. Very worth the quiet time from crazy pre-teens splashing about.

Day Spa Patrons - 3 ladies We came just for massages and wraps and were rather rushed through signing in process then whisked down to a relaxation room. While finishing up the paperwork our therapist came to get us. No time to relax. No tour of the facilities, nor shown the changing room which also contained robes which we discovered way later. It was a cooler April morning and my spa room I was put in was cold. My therapist hands were cold as well. I asked right away if she could adjust the a/c and she said no. She did go get me another blanket. The message was very good but my feet were cold the whole time. I put my swim suit on and headed to the hot tub thinking this will be great. Hot tub was not even heated yet for the day - put was on. When I asked about it they said to go to the front desk. The lady scurried to turn it on. Also the Bathrooms needed toilet paper. There were No towels by the pool. No cushions on pool lounge chairs as shown in pictures. You would think when you first open up in the morning you would have everything ready and put out. A quick tour or instructions would be nice too. For the prices we paid the attention to detail so lacked. I asked where the showers where and was told none and that only certain services included a shower. So if you want to go to a really cool place and pay 5 star prices and the little details don't care to you, then this is your place. I'm so disappointed since I wanted to take a friend there when she came to visit. My take away is that their bread and butter are the overnight guests who sign up for the detox program. It's too bad since they could have a good amount of clientele who are just looking for a nice spa.

These were included and helped to busy up the day Detox program 1/5 The detox program they do is just not for me - it included a morning proprietary detox drink with vegan protein, tea, oil blended together. It was terrible and very difficult to get down. Lunch was a liquid as well and similar except with more green stuff in it - also tasted terrible and dinner was thankfully a delicious soup. The soup was a major highlight. I will absolutely be making some on my own at home as fall approaches. The reason I rate this so low is that for the cost of this retreat there should be an option for participants to have additional whole, organic raw fruits and vegetables as small meals instead of or alongside these drinks. Complete deprecation does not work for me and it's disappointing there isn't another option available to participants. The only way I enjoyed my time was by supplementing my eating with fruit and veg I brought in from a local grocery store. I shouldn't have to supplement a reatreat experience to enjoy it. Logistics 1/5 There was just an overall lack of logistical organization during the 5 days. As someone who has worked to do logistics for events I know this either makes or breaks an experience and in this case it broke it in a lot of ways. Everyone had to get their daily schedules from the front after our class and most days, despite this being told to us as what to do at check in, the front seemed surprised we all showed up (unprepared). Schedules were hand-written and on scrap paper and for me, despite email correspondence about my schedule pre arrival, incorrect. As a result I missed one of my services (they did provide a refund) but this was a huge gap in expectations v reality. The program also advertised buying additional oils to use in your daily drinks (cbd) but this wasn't in stock so again, a huge missed opportunity. COVID related - apparently in Montgomery county where the retreat is located masks are not required. There weren't a lot of people and a lot of opportunities to maintain 6 feet distance except in spa services (no one wore a mask). This was a bit alarming overall. I would have felt better if I'd have seen some kind of screening being done for everyone at check-in (temp checks at least) to give some sense of covid caution, but there was none of this. There was hand sanitizer in one shared common space but again, it just seems like more could have been done to give people a bit more piece of mind (temp checks since masks were not being worn). Overall, I got what I wanted and needed from the experience but only because I supplemented it with what I needed. Therefore I give it a 2.5/5. It was a great space to recharge and reconnect but manage your expectations around it being a "spa resort". If you've been to 4 or 5 star facilities where the service is impeccable this will fall short.

I brought my 3 kids with me along with my sister (w/ 2 kids) and another niece of mine (7 in total). The ride to the property was easy and enjoyable along the back roads of Texas and when we arrived we found the property to be amazingly beautiful and peaceful. Check in was not formal and we drove to our lodge and walked in and unpacked. The 1st person we met was the Cook! Grady was very welcoming to us and after I explained food limitations for one of our party he bent over backward to accommodate our needs and did a fantastic job with our breakfast and dinner menus!!!! The Chicken Fried Steak was the best I have ever had. We enjoyed our evenings together at dinner and just hanging out at the fire pit or playing games back at the lodge. During the days we walked around the property and visited the many different livestock (cows, horses, donkeys, turkeys, a duck, and some rabbits). Taunia also organized a gun shoot for us hosted by a cowboy named Brian. He taught us a few things about shooting shotguns. We also went to a nearby pond, did some fishing, and caught a good many large mouth bass. But the highlight for all was the horseback trail ride hosted by John and his son-in-law Craig (real cowboys themselves). John put us all at ease by giving us some good lessons on what do and what not to do and threw in some great stories. Then we took off with our horses for about 2 hours into the pastures and along and through some tree lines and up and down some gullies. None of us had much experience at all with horses but we were all able to get on them and ride them confidently after our training. It was a fun and relaxing ride and the horses were well behaved and trained to not do anything unexpected. The last day of the weekend was spent sleeping in and having a late breakfast and saying goodbye to all of our new 4-legged friends. Thanks again Taunia, John, Craig, Grady and Brian for all of you're horsepitality and kindness. This was exactly what this family of city dwellers needed to charge our batteries a bit. Take care and see you on the range again sometime.
