If you are lucky enough, Travita will be there. This lovely lady is a breath of fresh air! She is knowledgeable, friendly, and knew her stuff! Every tasting she brought out was better than the next once she knew the tasting notes my date and I preferred. After grabbing a bottle of their white blend to share on a hot summer day; we ended up buying a bottle of Pinot Blanc and a bottle of Reuter's Blend to take home to share at our future BYO dinner party invite!

I probably should have ordered the calamari instead , that looked pretty good. My husband's scallops with risotto was very good. Seared perfectly, creamy risotto, good flavor. Normally that is what I like to order, but I got the crab pasta because I love crab. I was disappointed In this dish. The crab tasted a little too fishy like it went bad or something. I also got a number of shells in the crab I had to spit out. I feel like they could have mixed the crab with some kind of seasoning or flavors. It seemed like they just dumped the crab right out of the can into the pasta and didn't even clean the shells out first. And they didn't even put the pasta in any kind of sauce. I would have liked maybe a creamy sauce with it. The pasta was just in like a watery garlic broth, and it broke apart and crab went all in the water and I didn't even have a spoon to pick it up. Dessert was ok. I'm glad we got the dragonfruit cheesecake instead of the chocolate cake, it was refreshing . The tiramisu wasn't bad but it was still somewhat frozen. I was kind of surprised because we are fans of the Pieri group restaurants. We have been to their sister restaurant Stonerose for burger week for a number of years now and love it. We also came to burger week at bar sera the one year and really enjoyed theirs too. I wish they did them separate weeks so we could go to both . Maybe it was just an off night tonite. Sometimes valentines menus aren't as good as their regular menu. Maybe we learned our lesson to go out the week before valentines instead for next year.
