Among our party we had the Ricotta Gnocchi, Short rib, and slow roasted chicken. I recommend the short rib as a strong dish. The roasted chicken dish could use some attention as the included escarole was a strange side as it had the consistency of dried leaves and was really an inedible part of the dish. The chicken was also "just" done as it had a wee little pink that made the eater a bit nervous about doneness. My daughter had the white wine flight and found it a good way to try multiple different options. I enjoyed the right bank red blend that was recommended based on the mixed experiences of two of us who were sharing a bottle. It was a good choice. I would recommend Turks Head for a nice evening with friends or a romantic evening with that someone special. Another great dining option in West Chester that has been under the radar.

The Wine School of Philadelphia offers professional wine certification courses and wine tasting classes, but they also have classes for beer tasting, AND brewing too! They are all very reasonably priced. I would advise to book your classes ahead of time, as they will sell out.
