A couple minor things, but that's just me. Nothing to detract from the overall experience. The staff were all exceedingly friendly and willing to help. Everyone I interacted with was smiling and cheerful. They have free cookies at the front desk in the afternoon, so when you come in after working all day you can have a cookie! Shout out to Melody working the morning breakfast and the front desk simultaneously. She was waaaay too perky so early in the morning! The hotel feels very modern. It seems to be very well kept. All the fixtures, furnishings, elevators, carpets, etc. were in good repair. The lobby and common areas were spotlessly clean. The door locks and keys worked well. Minimal misfires with the key cards. My room was fresh smelling and also very clean. The AC worked very well. Towels and linens were fresh and decent. One interesting thing if you are a member of BW Rewards. If you are willing to forego the housekeeping service, they will credit your account with 500 bonus points for each day you do. There was a card to hang on the door to let the maids know. Needless to say, this has likely become my go-to hotel when I am in the area again. I am a fan!

I've been here a few times and I thought they bought them from a bakery (because they're kind of fancy) Nope. They bake them fresh. When they told me that, my mind was blown. Online, this place said it was remodeled in 2021, so it has to be good, right? Wrong. We booked a deluxe kind room for our honeymoon at the beach. We get here, and he hands us the key for a double queen. I tell him no, we booked a deluxe kind and paid in advance. Nobody called to tell us that this room wasn't available. He says they did try to call me, then read a number that isn't mine. Says that our originally booked room is unavailable because someone smoked in it, so we were downgraded to the double queen. Then he said we weren't being charged for that first night, yet he wouldn't issue a refund for it. The room was dirty, there looks to be blood inside the lamp shade and on the bed spread, someone punched a whole in the bathroom door, the microwave was melted, and the sheets were stained. When I went back to the front desk to tell him, and ask once again if we could be moved to a king room like we paid for, he said, well actually no, because we have to paint that room. I told him he didn't mention painting before, just that the room needed aired out, and he said that it needs painted now. But he got us in a king room the next night. Great, let's go. We got to the room, and he had just has house keeping go through it. Cool. Except that night, when we were laying in bed, we saw roaches crawling the walls. The air conditioner only worked on half the unit and the kitchenette didn't work until our last night because a breaker had been flipped. Housekeeping knocked on our door at 8 am every morning and when we would ask them if they could come back in a few minutes so we could get dressed and get out of the way, they never came back. We had the same sandy towels for 3 1/2 days before the office offered us new ones. The desk clerk was condescending and rude every time I spoke with him, and I honestly didn't feel safe walking to our room alone at night because the hotel is just sketchy overall. I understand that we booked a motel 6, and I understand the stipulations around motels. But this one was just bad. I've stayed in motel 6's with my family most of my life and they were not like this. I will never stay in another motel 6 in my life. We are extremely disappointed.

The man that checked us in was nice and noticed that I walked with a cane and so he made me aware that there were no rooms on the first floor. The looks are of a 2 star motel. You can see that they have done some updates. It was clean. The best part about the room was most definitely the bed. That mattress was so comfortable and after a 4 1/2 hour drive, it was much needed. We about 5 mins over our checkout time when the cleaning ladies started knocking. It was would have been nice if they would have left us last on the list to give us that time to clear out. I do appreciate that one of the cleaning ladies, helped me downstairs with my luggage. We would go back again.

This place is filthy and disgusting and I'm being VERY generous because there is no expletive strong enough to describe this God forsaken dump! Let's start with the pros since there are only 2. The first is that they send you an email to pre-check in. This made it super convenient so that when I arrived I literally told the desk clerk my name and she handed me my room key. About a 30 second pleasant interaction. The second is that the front desk employees are nice. Not very helpful, but nice. The lady who works in the daytime spends half her time at the desk and the other half of her time doing laundry. So she is overworked and doing the jobs of two people so you have to follow the sign to the laundry room if you need something. I requested and received an email confirmation that I could have late check out at 1 PM. There was a pounding on the door at 10:17 AM. It was a non-English speaking woman telling me check out was at 11:00 AM. I explained to her that I was approved for 1 PM check out, but she didn't understand English. There was another guy with her who told her "uno". She looks like he just said the most shocking information she's ever received in her life. And then she kept saying something in Spanish and reiterated the checkout time is at 11:00 AM. Even if my late checkout hadn't been approved (which it was) why are you pounding on my door at 10:17 AM after you've been paid in full?? Ok on to the really bad and gross. Buckle up buttercups because you are in for a treat! This place is ghetto. Don't expect a good night sleep. The first night I stayed awake because I woke up to a roach crawling in my room and on the second night there was a very loud domestic disturbance involving people running back-and-forth across the top breezeway down onto the main level, screaming and yelling to which police responded and it took about an hour to fully resolve . So I was given room 114. This room has no window to the front of the room so you can't look outside into the parking lot or walkway. The only window is to a fenced walkway behind the building where they dump random broken fixtures and items. It's an eyesore. They did a total bait and switch on me. Please do not think for one second the photos on the websites are of rooms you will get. Oh no no honey you are getting a musty smelling roach and insect infested dirty, dark, and depressing room that should be condemned. The pillows are tiny but the sheets, that's where I found strands of hair and very questionable stains that look like menstruation and/or urination stains. Hair in the sink, on the floor, and everywhere. Because I didn't observe these things until about 11:30 PM (I checked in late and had to set everything up for me to get ready for a wedding the next day). I went to the front desk to see what could be done and was offered, "bug spray" LOL Are you kidding? I told the guy I don't even know where the roaches and insects are coming from to know where to spray and I don't want to inhale "bug spray" in my room. He said it's because it's so hot here and they "spray every 15 days" but I'm calling BS! I live where temps reach triple digits and my pest control comes every other month and guess what? I don't have roaches or insects in or around my house. He offered no refund no new room just told me that's all he could do. Since it was the middle of the night and they already charged my card, my only option is to sleep on the second set of stained sheets he gave me or in my car, where there are definitely no insects. Also the TV keeps freezing so don't plan on watching any shows because it's choppy and glitchy just like the Internet service. Lastly, I had to run the water for about 15 mins before it was warm enough to get in it. The water pressure is so low that it's basically like a sprinkle and a trickle. Please do not let the pictures on the website or fake positive reviews fool you. I have attached photos so you can see for yourself what I booked vs what I got. Stay far far away from here!

Any property right on the beach is going to show some wear and tear thanks to the salt and moisture in the air, but I was impressed with how well-maintained this place was, all things considered. You truly can't beat the price--$70 to $80 a night, and you get a little kitchenette, which is super convenient. On the downside, our fridge didn't work very well, and the freezer wasn't much colder than the fridge. That said, the beds were clean and surprisingly comfortable, with fresh sheets and towels. The overall cleanliness exceeded my expectations for a budget-friendly motel. The staff was kind and accommodating, which made a big difference. Also, it's pet-friendly, which we appreciated, with a very reasonable pet fee (either $15 or $50 depending on the situation--and you may be able to get that $50 back). All in all, I would definitely stay here again. It's not fancy, but it's clean, affordable, and right on the beach--which is what really counts.

She told us to let her know if there was anything that we needed very kind of her. We didn't mind putting the $20 down for the key deposit. Our hotel bookings total was $81 good price for a place by the beach. We only stayed one night seeing it was. It was a spontaneous trip for my husband's birthday when we got into the room there was an absolute foul smell it smelled of mildew and sulfur. The only thing that got the stench out was me being over prepared and packing air freshener since i read the reviews before booking. the water is so smelly like sewage and sulfur. My husband was gagging when he was brushing his teeth because of the water we brought bottled just in case. The room was pretty clean sheets & pillows. At night when we were getting ready for bead a 1.5in roach came crawling out from behind our headboard. i think this place is great for a overnight beach trip. quick little in and out, so much potential for this place.
