This is my favorite flower shop in Seattle because: 1) convenience - right next to my apt and I've been here 4x (2x to buy a potted plant for myself, 2x to gift presents to coworkers), 2) they have the cutest vases...curation is excellent. The price point is just right. I don't feel cheated and if I were to try to recreate what they did it wouldn't look right. This review is long overdue, and I can't believe that I forgot to give this place the recognition they deserve for their customer service! The woman that was helping me, I can't believe I spaced on her name, really did me a solid with this situation. We all have been in this position, when you're trying to swoon a new person you're dating, you're trying to go the extra mile for them without coming on too strong. The gal that was helping me listened to my requests based on the message I was trying to convey with building a bouquet (to gift to my now girlfriend, thanks Verde and Co!), and totally nailed it. It was beautiful beyond words! Aside from building an amazing arrangement of flowers, this situation was a time sensitive one because I needed the bouquet delivered to her before the evening because my girlfriend had her album release party that evening. The delivery location for these flowers had to change day of and last minute, and despite my stress about this, this place worked with me and made it happen getting the flowers to her and totally surprised her! Long story short: they are amazing and will listen to your requests, will build you a beautiful arrangement based on that request, and have incredible customer service even in a pinch. My favorite flower shop in Seattle. I love talking to staff here because they're from NY as well and know my name. They're super friendly and knowledgable about flowers and don't mind that I'm only buying a small bunch. It is a higher end flower shop so expect to pay more than you would at Pike Place but the quality is so much better. People don't seem to realize that you do get the price you pay for in flowers. The most lovely shop in a cool building. I was a little intimidated and assumed I couldn't afford anything. Don't let the atmosphere fool you. Meredith, the owner has small cute succulents for as little as $12. The pot selection is cool and has a vintage vibe, definitely not your normal floral shop selection- more unique. I have not yet ordered a bouquet yet, but have seen on instagram what she can do. I did have a succulent pot delivered to a friend ( btw you need to spend $50 for delivery) and it was beautiful and perfect. She even had greeting cards there ( super convenient )! For the next holiday or for a treat for yourself stop by and pick up something beautiful. Highly recommend. read more

Meridith runs the best flower shop in Seattle. I send a small arrangement to my wife every two weeks and she always comments about how great they are. My wife says the 25th year anniversary arrangement they made was the best she has EVER seen! To boot, something I notice as a practical guy, Verde & Co flowers last a long time. I love coming to this cute little shop to "browse". Even when I'm not looking for anything in particular, I still manage to go home with a new baby. They have a big range of air plants & succulents at their "potting bar". You can select a small plant with a little planter - everything is so adorable! I flew into town to surprise my daughter for her birthday. After checking Yelp, I called Verde to make sure they would be open by the time I walked there & told them why I was coming. When I arrived, I was greeted by the sweetest group of women who were amazing at helping select the perfect arrangement of flowers and a vase. Drove to this cute shop to get flowers or a plant for a 1pm birthday lunch. Arrived at the shop at 12:20pm. Business hours are 10-5. There were plenty of plants to choose from but the florist told me "I'm not open yet actually. Valentine's Day (yesterday) was busy." Seriously? Can't imagine being a small business owner turning away customers smack dab in the middle of business hours. Guess I'll head to Whole Foods. read more
