    Grilled Chicken Kebab platter
    Corey B.

The food was good. Ordered grilled chicken kebob platter. Not sure if related but as I was writing this review I had to make a dash to the restroom! Anyway, back to the review. As mentioned in another review the floor was SUPER STICKY. Especially the rug near the drink cooler. My flip flops literally stuck to the floor. The first table I almost sat at looked half wiped off with a clump of hair on the bench seat. Found a seat that was clean enough. There was no air circulation and I don't think the AC was even running. Very warm and uncomfortable for Florida. I won't be going back.

    Enjoy your yummy food!

Visited and left before ordering . Cook wiped down tables after wiping his face. I am extremely focused on restaurant cleanliness. Glad I walked away. Saw this recently.

I love a nice small place like this. I live around Sarasota. We do not have any Lebanese food that I know of around as I'm always looking I had an appointment in the area and lunch here afterwords I will stop here each time now. The food was good. Tabouli like my grandma would make. Generous portions for the price. The chicken nice and flavorful good hummus too. The service was friendly. Look forward to trying more of the menu.

Got a pick up order so this will be a quick one. The shop is small and pretty basic but the flavors are big and unique. Food was tasty and the person who served us was friendly- we got a chicken shawarma, a gyro with feta and a gyro plate with basmati rice and baba ghanoush Last but not least a piece of pistachio baklava All the food was good and tasted very authentic "to my knowledge " I would recommend the gyro over the chicken shawarma unless you are well versed in the Mediterranean flavors, the gyro is amazing The baklava was good not the best I've ever had but definitely tasty. Over all Food [7.6 / 10] Price: pretty cheap Vibe [4.3/10] is definitely recommend taking it to go- the guy working the shop was cool but that's really all they have going for it. Stop-bye-score: If Convient

The food here was delightful and not a bad price! The service was pretty good too and it's a nice little place. I highly recommend the platters so you can get a good sampling of everything!

Delicious! Ate in on a Sunday night and food was great and always a great price. I will be ordering more from Cedars this year for sure!

We ordered the chicken shawarma wrap and the gyro. Everyone was happy with the chicken shawarma and the gyro was very tasty especially with the extra feta and tzatziki. Credit card accepted. I recommend this place

We were out running errands and we're starving. We opened yelp and Cedars was at the top of the list for nearby and I'm so glad we stopped. We ordered a gyro plate and the veggie plate and were absolutely thrilled with both. The hummus was smooth and so flavorful, I was eating it with a fork. The falafel I ordered with the veggie plate were super crispy, moist, and flavorful. Both meals portions were generous and we were very full but didn't leave a bite on the plate. Tip: ask for the garlic sauce. The service was great, we asked a few questions about recommendations and were helped with their insights. Friendly, quick, and comfortable. The meal felt light and healthy too which is always a plus. We'll absolutely be back!

Babaganoush shish kabob and salad. The top dish was the cedar mix platter hummus and babaganoush. Oh my loooord. Delicious.

I had a hankering for something different than my normal routine. And wandered through here on a Sunday. Their Babaganoush, shish kabob and salad was fantastic. We also got the cedar mix platter. Oh my loooord. Delicious. This is absolutely Mediterranean done right. It is absolutely being added as a lunch run for work days.

New favorite spot ALERT…read more This is not a drill, I repeat, this is not a drill. Do not sleep on this little hidden gem on 5th! Before I say anything I have to say this was the best falafel I've had in my life!!!! And I'm so upset I took pictures of nothing because I was just blissfully stuffing my face the entire time. We had: sampler appetizer with 3 dips, pita, falafel and a rice salad. Tacos. Steak kabob gyro. And falafel platter with side chicken kabob. Chocolate pistachio cheesecake. Crème brûlée. The total was under $125 and that feels like a great deal for allll that food! Everyone brought home leftovers. Every single thing was delicious!!! It's also a byob spot which I love. So feel free to bring your own bottle of wine! The staff is wonderful! So sweet. The restaurant is also super cozy and intimate. Reservation recommended in case, but could easily get an outdoor spot or walk in and place a to go order! I cannot wait to try their brunch!!! I pinky promise I'll take pictures then.

Unfortunately, the portion sizes were surprisingly small for the price, especially the chicken dish. We arrived at 5:45 p.m. for our 6:00 p.m. reservation and were seated promptly, which was appreciated. However, we waited about 45 minutes for our meals to arrive. While our waitress wasn't particularly attentive, she did apologize for the delay in getting our food. The restaurant itself is cute, specially outside seating. One suggestion is that the tables are larger for two people. The table next to us requested another table to be moved over to hold their food and drinks properly. The pita bread didn't arrive until later in the meal, and while it was a nice addition, it didn't make up for the small serving sizes and lack of anything to dip it into at that point. I truly wanted to love this restaurant and leave a glowing review because the food itself was very good. Sadly, between the long wait, service issues, and portion sizes that didn't match the prices, the overall experience fell short of our expectations.

I ordered the chicken and waffles as I wanted a bit of savory and sweet. I meant to ask for the berry compote on the side, but forgot. However, the berry compote on top of the waffles was actually pretty nice and added to the meal. I also ordered the Black Truffle Mac and Cheese. Me and my friend ordered that last time and we chowed down, it was DELICIOUS! Perfectly cooked, thick, yummy cheese, and great amount of flavor. The big draw for my group is the open karaoke! On Sundays, LALA offers open karaoke in the main restaurant from 1-4 pm. There's a small stage at the front of the restaurant. It's free, you just add your name to the list. There usually isn't a long wait to sing. The last couple of times, my party was able to sing several times. Each time, the list was short, so the same people kept going up to sing again and again. It's a very fun environment. We had Patrick as a server this time - he was very patient and really attentive. It's not a huge restaurant inside (but still good amount of seating) and everyone I've come across from staff to patrons have been amazing. Great stop to visit if you're checking out St Pete! LALA is located in a great area, right in the middle of Central Ave. Would absolutely recommend a brunch here if you're looking for something fun and different but also still a bit laid back. There's so many little shops and venues to check out along Central Ave if you're still wanting to keep the party going.

We started with the seacuterie board (seafood board), which was fantastic, and the charred octopus, and asparagus which were delicious! They definitely know how to make a great cocktail! The service was excellent--attentive, friendly, and welcoming--and the ambiance made the whole experience even better. It has such a great vibe and is the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy yourself, and make an evening out of it. Amazing food, delicious cocktails, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. LALA gave us the full experience, and we will absolutely be back for the karaoke night. Highly recommend!

This is one of the closest things to that around here. Friendly staff. You can tell the owner is on the grill (older gentleman). The prices are very reasonable compared to other places nowadays in 2026. Highlights- The Zaytoon Burger is a kefta style burger that comes with feta and it is fantastic. Will be returning for it again. Fries are the way I like them personally. Obviously cut in house and just fried. The green house-made hot sauce is amazing. It's what reminds me of the shops in the DC area. Sometimes called chutney, it's a cilantro/jalapeño sauce with maybe a little yogurt as the base. The falafel was great. Fried perfectly crispy on outside and soft on the inside. It reminds me of the kind we make ourselves. Heavily seasoned. Baklava- We got a "half order" which he described as one piece. I eat baklava a lot and the piece that came out was about 3 times larger than what I was expecting. It was as good as it gets. Simple walnut baklava with a great honey sauce that was crispy on the outside and chewy in the middle perfect. A+ so glad to have them in the town! Apparently they have been around a while but we are new here so happy to find this gem.
