What a fantastic experience! I had expert guidance when I had questions about the menu and about which wine to order with my dinner. I was super happy with both of the choices. Food came out quickly and even though they had a large party I did not feel neglected at all! I ordered the lamb kebab and have enough leftovers tomorrow! So glad I tried this place out

Cozy Turkish restaurant with authentic food. For appetizers we had falafel & grape leaves the grape leaves were better the falafel was good but not flavorful. The main course was great: we ordered a lamb dish backed in a clay pot! Yummy nice presentation.! The lamb kebab was delicious and we finished with pistachio baklava Be sure to make a reservation because it's a small restaurant but a totally friendly atmosphere!

Turkish Flame 5 Stars- This was a great find. Came to a wedding in Clearwater and I had a free day before flying back to New York. I usually trust the overall ratings on Yelp & Google and the reviews were spot on. We were greeted by Ece pronounced "AJ". She was amazing and I thought she was one of the owners. She was attentive, made great suggestions like our appetizer warm hummus. She took us through a dinner journey that made us want to try more dishes on the menu. Coincidentally, chef Bora hosted a Yelp Elite event recently and Ece told me all about it. She was very proud of the restaurant and we were treated to complimentary Turkish tea and Babaganusj. Portions are a good size, prices are fair, service was AMAZING, the restaurant is nicely decorated and has a beautiful copper ceiling, Turkish lamps and has a good number of tables indoor with a few tables outdoor. The restaurant is also very clean right down to the bathrooms. They also have about 5 parking spots available outside as parking seems to be a premium here. The menu is fairly extensive with appetizers, house specials, entrees, salads, sides, soups and desserts. They have both Turkish and American beverages. The chicken shish-kabob was very moist and tender. It was served in pita with rice and salad. For desert we had the Kunefe. Which was excellent. I highly recommend it. Coming from New York City, our Turkish restaurants set a high bar. Turkish Flame definitely delivered. I would highly recommend them and will be back the next time I'm in the Tampa/Clearwater area. I will go as far to say, they set a high standard for any restaurant in the area.

SOLID 5 STARS! The Feta Cheese Platter ($12.95) is worth a visit all by itself. The best Feta I've ever had, and I've tried domestic and imported sheep, goat, and cow feta. The table service is exceptional, and Chef Bora takes pride in all his creations.

Turkish Flame is amazing! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by name and made to feel like I was royalty. Special thanks to Abdullah and the wonderful staff for treating me so well. I love the atmosphere of the indoor and outdoor seating areas. It's one block from the beach. I tried the baked hummus with sausage and the chef's special, and both were full of incredible flavor. The Turkish sparkling water and black tea were a perfect touch. I'll definitely be back for dinner soon!

This is small restaurant in Indian Rocks beach that has both indoor and outdoor seating. They do have a small parking lot that accommodates roughly 5-6 vehicles. So if it's a busy day you may need to find public parking. I was fortunate enough to grab a spot in their lot right in front of the restaurant. The meatball platter was delicious! The meat and rice were cooked to perfection and packed with flavor, it was paired with a salad that had a light dressing but full of flavor. They also have a wide variety of wines. Service was fast and friendly. We never had to ask for a water refill they anticipated the needs of the table. We ended our meal with a Turkish coffee that was strong and delicious! Exactly what you want in a Turkish coffee. My friend got a tea and she said that was also delicious. Overall I highly recommend stopping into this small family owned business and showing support for business in the community.

Came here for the Kunefe but ate so much more. Their kabobs are delicious and seems like a popular place for their pots... admittedly not a fan of those pot pies , but mainly cause it was filled with green and red peppers. Not my thing but a thing for plenty. Great service, they have Turkish tea in the tulip glasses. But the star of the show was the Kunefe hands down so if you want a delightful dessert, this is the place for a unique tasting. Reasonably quiet, there's a nice bar top and a cute dining area.

I spent the Saturday afternoon enjoying the Yelp Elite event at the lovely Turkish Flame! I tried the babaghanoush and lamb shish kebab. The meal reminded me of my time in Europe and I highly enjoyed the set up of the appetizers set up with a cold section and hot section. I wish I had room for the oven hot hummus but will be back to try. The staff were very accommodating and the atmosphere inside was lovely and quaint. Thank you for Chef Bora for the invite and will mostly come back to try other dishes on the menu.

I visited this restaurant last night and the food was so amazing! I love trying new cuisine but what was even better than the food was the staff. Abdullah was GREAT. This is a very small restaurant with a few tables outside. The parking is also very limited. We asked about popular dishes and up going with all of the staff recommendations.

I had the pleasure of attending a Yelp Elite event at Turkish Flame in Indian Rocks and it was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. We tried the baba ghanoush, falafel salad, lentil soup, and chicken shish kebab and every single dish was bursting with authentic flavor and perfectly prepared. You can truly taste the freshness and care that goes into each plate. The atmosphere was warm and inviting thanks to the staff members. Chef Bora is not only an incredibly talented chef but also such a genuine and kind person who clearly loves what he does. In my opinion this is the best local restaurant around and a true hidden gem in Indian Rocks. I cannot wait to come back.

This place is a must try in my book. I was visiting from California and my family decided to stop by for the first time. I was blown away from the amount of selections they have. From various kebabs and delightful seafoods it's hard to decide. The staff absolutely amazing!!! Incredibly friendly attentive and extremely helpful when it came to making a selection but most of all surprised me for my own birthday. The food was incredible and filling, be sure to come hungry cause the starting bread alone will have you munching until the end. I recommend if you have enough people do the grilled house special. Worth every moment.

This place is so quaint and the service is exceptional. The food is really wonderful, although there are limited pescatarian options. My husband and I prefer fish so there was only one dish on there that we could eat in the fish world. But that shrimp dish was phenomenal. I highly recommend this place.

We liked everything we ordered-baba ghannouj, labneh, kisir (their bread comes out toasty and warm-our girls had 2nds and would have had 3rds if we allowed them). Gyro platter main was great, but their yogurt gyro platter was much richer with tomato umami. The cheese roll and borek were delicious as well as the lentil soup. Don't skip dessert (semolina cake à la mode with plenty of cinnamon and nuts)! Recommend getting a seat outside so you can watch the ocean and the jealous birds-great even with the light drizzle around us. Great service and a must stop for the next time we are in sand key.

We sat outside during our meal and the ambiance and feel of the restaurant was very welcoming! As for entrees, I ordered the Chicken Gyro Platter which was very well made, seasoned perfectly, and presented very well. The chicken was very well seasoned along with it being perfectly cooked, and the Rice Pilaf was the same. Overall nothing I would change about this dish and I would recommend ordering it. Next, one of the people in my party ordered the Chicken Gyro Salad which they loved. Same as my dish, the chicken was cooked perfectly. It was also mentioned that the lettuce was extremely fresh which is always great to see. The last two members of our party ordered the Beef/Lamb Gyro Salad which they loved. Again the meet was cooked very well and the lettuce was extremely fresh and overall they both loved their meal. (We did also order the Baklava for dessert which was fantastic as well) To finish, our service was top tier and our server Tayfun was extremely attentive throughout our entire dining experience and was very friendly! Amazing 10/10 dining experience and would most definitely come here again and recommend to others!

The exterior of the building was nothing to brag about, but the interior was neat, well laid out, and clean. The owners of the restaurant were up front to greet dinners. The waitress was prompt and attentive. Mirage features a lunch buffet, so I was able to sample small portions of a lot of offerrings. My first plate was filled with selections from the cold salad station (hummas, pita, Persan picket, baba ganosh, etc.). The entree station had four different rice (balas) preparations. There was Basmati rice, a savory rice and two of the balas were sweetened with fruit and spices. All were tasty. The proteins were primarily chicken selections, but there was a beef koobideh that was also delicious. There were a broad selection of lentil and vegetable stews, so I made multiple trips to the station eating them as a side dish to a protein, over basmati rice and savory rice preparations. It may have been a cultural fax paux, but I treated the falafel like a cornbread muffin as I enjoyed the stewed vegetables and lentils. It was a good meal polished off with a serving of baklava.

To our pleasant surprise, we were seated right away even though the restaurant was very busy! They initially placed us in a booth and we kindly asked if there was a table near the window since they had a great view of the water. The hostess checked and found us a table next to the window. Great start so far. Our server was pleasant, though service was a bit slow. But again, the restaurant was very busy so we understood and were just happy to enjoy a meal there. It was our last night on the beach and we were very hungry, so we decided to order a bunch of items: Espresso martini Bread basket Lobster bisque Smokin' fresh tuna spread Sushi Red grouper (catch of the day), Indian shores style with shareable side of au gratin potatoes Red grouper (catch of the day), wood fire grilled with mashed potatoes Shareable side of charred asparagus Our server spaced them out and brought out the drink, the bread, the soup, and tuna spread first. The bread was supposed to be sourdough, but when the basket came out I noticed it didn't look or taste like sourdough so we checked with the server and he informed us that they ran out of sourdough so they gave us basically a French baguette. This was surprising and quite disappointing because we should have been notified of the change right away. Also concerning for allergies, but fortunately, we didn't have any. Then came the sushi and finally the entrees. Almost everything was delicious. One of the grouper entrees was a bit overcooked, but we really enjoyed the sides. The espresso martini was smooth and strong. Even though I always make room for dessert, we decided to skip because by the time we finished our entrees, we had already been there for two hours. We were ready to turn in for the night. Overall, we had a good experience and we were very grateful to be seated right away despite them being very busy. We would also recommend the food. Again, it's across from the beach so tourists & locals are filling it fast. The table we had was excellent. It had a view of the gulf. Our server, Jerry, was personable, knowledgeable, and friendly. He helped us navigate the menu. The food and the wait time is what fell short for us. We were there for an over two hours. We ordered the Calamari appetizer. It wasn't as spicy as it was described on the menu. When we ordered our main dishes & Al a carte side items, the service slowed. Jerry visited our table a few times to note that he was checking the kitchen because our food was taking forever. We never even mentioned this to him. He noticed and kept checking. I appreciated that. For mains:I ordered a NY strip rare which was market price ($41) I found this out when the check came out. This was the longest and skinniest looking strip I've ever seen. The ends were completely overcooked. The middle was cooked properly so only part of my steak was edible. My friend ordered chicken Alfredo. This was the strangest dish. There wasn't even sliced grilled chicken on top. I would expect at least that from a high quality restaurant. Instead, there were chunks of chicken in it and some random asparagus. Out of the kindness of his heart, Jerry comped our appetizer and offered us a free dessert. It was a nice touch and we tipped him well. We asked for our dessert to be boxed because we were tired after the longest dinner I've ever had to wait for. This place came highly recommended and has great ratings, but I will not be returning. I hope you have a better experience than we did. Jerry was the star of the show here. Fantastic employee. The food? Not so much.

Let me start by saying that the food itself is actually good. The flavors are solid and you can tell the recipes are authentic Mediterranean dishes. If this review were based purely on the food, it would probably be decent. Unfortunately, a restaurant experience is not just about what ends up on the plate it's about service, value, and how customers are treated. That's where this place completely falls apart. First off, the service was extremely inattentive. From the moment we sat down, it felt like we were more of an inconvenience than paying customers. The waitresses seemed disinterested, barely checked on the table, and when we tried to ask questions about the menu or request anything simple, the attitude we got back was surprisingly rude and dismissive. It felt like they wanted us to order quickly, eat, and leave without asking for anything outside of the most basic transaction. One thing that really stood out was their refusal to substitute sides. At most restaurants, asking for a simple side swap is a completely normal request. Here, they flat-out refused with zero flexibility or willingness to accommodate. It came off as unnecessarily rigid and frankly pretty unfriendly. When customers are paying premium prices, a little accommodation should not be too much to ask. And speaking of mistakes they forgot my fries entirely. My meal arrived incomplete, and I had to point it out. Even then, it didn't feel like it was taken very seriously. No apology that felt genuine, no urgency to fix it, just a very casual reaction as if forgetting part of a meal was no big deal. When you're charging the prices they do, attention to detail should be the bare minimum. That brings me to the pricing, which honestly feels way too high for what you get. The food is good, but not nearly good enough to justify the price point when the service experience is this poor. There are plenty of Mediterranean restaurants where you can get equally good if not better food while actually being treated like a valued customer. Overall, the biggest takeaway from my visit is that good food alone doesn't make up for bad service. Restaurants succeed when they combine great meals with hospitality and basic respect for their customers. Unfortunately, that balance was completely missing here. Between the inattentive staff, the rude attitude toward simple requests, forgotten items like my fries, and the high prices, the experience left a pretty bad impression. I really wanted to like this place, but the service made it hard to justify coming back. There are too many good Mediterranean spots out there to spend money somewhere that treats customers like an afterthought.
