From the vibe to the food this place was a 10/10. Was in the area for work and we picked this place at whim, but def worth making a reservation. We sat outside but the inside and bar area were stunning. Stand out dishes were the octopus which had watermelon such a cool combo. Loved the table side tartar service. Also, tried the yellowtail tartar, rabbit ravioli (yess rabbit, it was so savory and tasty), and the bolognese. Drinks were unique and fun! If you're in the area check it out!

Allelo might have my favorite interior design of any restaurant in St. Pete... gorgeous, sophisticated, absolutely right up my alley. I've been a few times now, and the ambiance alone makes it a place worth visiting. Service has always been great as well! The food is good, it just hasn't quite wowed me the way the setting promises it might. The focaccia and oysters are solid choices, and the meatballs and sweet potato agnolotti are enjoyable. The rack of lamb was the one dish that fell a little flat for me relative to expectations. The hugo spritz didn't taste super traditional but was refreshing in its own right, so take that as you will depending on what you're looking for! I keep coming back, which says something, but I do find myself wishing the food matched the very high bar the decor sets. If that gap ever closes, this place will be a 10/10 without question. In the meantime? If you're looking for a sexy date night spot with pretty good food and a stunning backdrop, Allelo absolutely delivers on that. Sometimes the vibe is the meal LOL.

A great place to go with a group and get a few shareables. The olive oil cocktail was amazing!! We had a group of 5 and shared 3 appetizers and 3 plates and that was the perfect amount. Service was kind and very knowledgeable of the changing menus. A very allergy friendly place!!

This is the fresh house made regatta with pistachios and their homemade focaccia bread is incredible.

My mom and I had such a wonderful time celebrating her birthday! Cory was such an excellent part of our night. She treated us like princesses, and didn't make us feel rushed. We enjoyed the cucumber vodka spritzer with fresh mint. Refreshingly amazing! I think it's one their best cocktails everyone loves here. Also, the appetizer of house-made ricotta, with pistachios for their homemade focaccia bread, was delicious!! The main course, we ordered the chef special with the lobster and linguine. As you can see in the photo, and listed on the special menu. It was outstanding! The only feedback I'll give is the chicken dish. I love Bell Evans chicken in general. So, it was just a little salty and I think it would have been better roasted maybe. The dessert for the strawberry shortcake was superb. Each bite was heavenly. Thank you for such a memorable evening!

Amazing food and service as always. The atmosphere is lively but intimate. Got some of the staple food options, focaccia bread and octopus. Tried some specials and they were great. Fantastic cocktails as always. Will highly recommend and will be returning.

This was my first trip to Allelo, a Mediterranean-Aegean restaurant. I was in town for business and arrived solo. I was greeted by Carolina, a very confident and friendly hostess. I told her I wanted to sit outside so I could have dinner and read a book with a glass of wine. She told me it would be about 20 minutes and suggested I go to the bar. Once inside, I was greeted by Corey, who entertained me with a vibrant wine list and a quick tasting before selecting a crisp Sauvignon Blanc. As my wine was being poured in a delightfully elegant wine glass... Carolina told me my table was ready. They put me in the perfect spot for people watching. My server was Rachel, who shared the night's special offerings with great aplomb. I am not usually a Wagyu person, but I thought why not, yolo. I paired it with the cauliflower. But to kick things off,..I did the focaccia. The meal was so superb. I immediately texted a friend of mine and said we had to come back the following evening. Again with the Wagyu and the focaccia. Sue me, I'm a glutton for delight. My friend had the seafood linguine.... Which in keeping with the theme was exemplary. Our server for night two was Kyle... Who anticipated I ever need. We had a variety of martinis and ended the evening with a fancy coffee that included a rock sugar spoon. This is my new go to when I visit St. Petersburg. And did I mention Rachel gave me an awesome book recommendation? Thanks girl! If you're looking for somewhere really cool to go for curated cocktails, and exceptional food...This is the place.

I came here for dinner on a Sunday night and sat in the patio. The hostess was kind of rude. She originally wanted us to sit on the tables across the sidewalk when there were so many open seats on the couches/patio by the entrance so we asked if we could sit there instead and she gave us a look and then said I'll ask. She came back and seated us at the patio with the couches but she definitely looked annoyed. The service here is very slow. Food comes out very slowly so be aware of that. The food was so delicious but not worth the price. My husband got the 5oz waygu for $95 and it came with no sides. We also split the seafood linguine which was my favorite - so buttery and flavorful and the lamb bolognese. We also got the sides of Brussel spouts which I didn't care for the apple bits in there and too many loose leaves and the potatoes which was much better. For a $300 meal, I didn't think it was worth it. Yes the food was very good but I could've gotten a bugger steak Berns steakhouse at that price.

This is a Mediterranean style restaurant that offers delicious food. The atmosphere is a bit classy and perfect for brunch. I went with a group of 4 and the family style brunch ($42 per person) served enough food to fill us up. We were able to taste a little bit of everything from pita chips w/ dip, eggs, Greek salad, bacon and much more! Overall great service and experience.

Tonight was my first visit to Allelo on Beach Drive in St. Pete. We didn't have a reservation but were lucky to get seats at the bar around 7 p.m. They mentioned they were fully booked, though we did notice a few tables open both when we arrived and when we left. Still, we ended up having a great time at the bar! The female bartender was pretty friendly and attentive, and the bar back (a male) was busy helping with table and silverware setup ~ both were good. We ordered the Baby Gem Salad, Mussels in a delicious tomato sauce, and the Cocktail Shrimp, which were all fantastic. The cocktails were unique and interestingly crafted. The espresso martini had an interesting twist ~ a subtle touch of amaro that gave it depth. The lemon drop martini was made with their house lemonade, which gave it a refreshing and slightly unexpected flavor. My friend ordered the Aperol Spritz and really enjoyed it too. It was a bit loud inside, so next time I'll definitely ask to sit outside, especially in this beautiful weather. The restaurant has a charming patio right on Beach Drive, a cozy bar area, and another smaller dining room to the right as you walk in. The space is beautifully decorated, with a hand-painted mural of birds by a local artist. They even provided a list so guests can learn about each bird featured on the wall ~ a thoughtful touch! I'm surprised it took me this long to visit, especially since I consider myself quite the foodie. Allelo has been open for 5 years, and after tonight, I can definitely say I'll be back soon!

Top place we went to all week! Our server, Kyle, was fantastic and all the staff who ran food or drinks were extremely friendly and all knowledgeable. Each menu item was delicious. Hands down the best item was the tartare! It was so good we ordered it twice! It's not a place to go to for dessert though, we were all pretty disappointed especially with how strong everything else was. The vibe was great and although it's not a large restaurant, it feels large and has an inviting feel. Will definitely be back!

Hands down best meal I've ever had! The beef tartare was incredible as well as pasta. We had an amazing server and the ambience was spectacular. This was an event of a meal with unique and memorable flavors all around!

First time in St Pete and the only meal that was fabulous. Stopped by for a drink and sat outside, but the menu looked great so we ended up staying for dinner. Standouts - beef tartare - baby gems - octopus - truffle arancini - branzino - kebabs - baklava cheesecake was different To be honest everything was really delicious. Then we had post dinner drinks inside and wow that bar. And the drinks were outstanding also. Fun cocktails great service.

Super lively spot with a great vibe -- both indoor and outdoor seating available. Definitely make a reservation if you're planning to go! We came for a bachelorette party with a group of five, and while the atmosphere was fun, the service was very slow. Our appetizers actually came out before our cocktails, which was a little disappointing. Food-wise, the arancini was a standout -- perfectly cooked with amazing flavor. The cacio e pepe was another highlight: rich, creamy, and packed with cheesy goodness. Overall, I'd come back for the cocktails and the energy, but probably not for a full sit-down meal.

The menu is fairly limited, but their house-made pastas are out of this world! I had one of their specials featuring pasta and airline chicken, which was excellent. My friend ordered another pasta dish, her husband had the fish special and my husband ordered the filet, which was cooked perfectly for him. Portions are on the smaller side, but still very filling. My husband and I each started with a Caesar salad. I forgot to ask for it without anchovies, and they gave the salad a very strong, fishy flavor. If you're not a big anchovy fan like me, I'd recommend ordering it without. Service was excellent for a busy Friday night. Our server was friendly and helped guide us with wine recommendations. He was spot on, and the wines paired beautifully with the meals we chose. Definitely a great spot for a cozy dinner in the heart of Central Ave.
