    Lamb gyro
    Lillie A.

Came here on Valentine's Day. We were kindly greeted and we sat and were given ice water. Water isn't too bad but I am not picky when it comes to water. We got two lamb gyros and some Greek fries. A sweet older man took our order and right then I knew I was in for it. The food was delicious. I wish I had gotten two myself. There was a deal where you got free baklava with a purchase on Valentine's Day so I got that. Delicious. The inside was quite small but cute. There was a man sleeping near the bathroom but he got up and left but came back. I didn't care, food was yummy. I'll be back again one day.

Cedar's is a restaurant that has the benefit of attracting customers solely because it offers a convenient take-away window and is located near a student population who is seeking affordable options near their dorm room. It leaves little incentive to improve the quality of the food. The marinated chicken sandwich was a disappointment. The pita was thin and cold - it tasted stale or store bought. The bulk of the sandwich was lettuce and feta (which I added for an additional charge). I ordered chicken, but I'm not actually confident that's what I was served. It was thin, dark, and chewy, resembling lamb or beef. The gentleman serving me was very nice, nothing wrong with the service, but I do think they could keep the counter where they prepare the food cleaner given customers are looking at it while they make the food.

This was a really really good falafel sandwich. It was also super reasonably priced for a generous portion. I stopped by for a quick take out option before heading to an evening work event and not only did the kind gentleman who owns the place make this for me in less than 5 minutes, he also packaged it really well for travel and eating while walking. He was also very kind and chatted with me as I paid. As a note, no Apple Pay here so make sure you have your card or cash on hand. It was a cute little spot with homey decor, a small patio area, and a little window for take out outside. I would definitely come back because this was the tastiest and freshest falafel sandwich I've had in Seattle for the past 3 years.

First, the food here is very tasty. It is homemade. The service is friendly and fast. I love the ambiance. I would describe it as a very quaint place with seatings for about 16 people. I loved the gyro plate. I will be back to try more of their great food.

I went here often as a student, and so to come back and be greeted with the same warm, familiar face was wonderful. Every time I've went, I have always seen the same older man working there and greeting everyone with a smile! Their gyros are a tried and true for me, and I'll happily be back next time I'm in the area. And the prices are great too!

Lamb gyros were good; flavorful, meaty, saucy and hot. Greek fries were smothered in garlic and cheese but on the salty side. Service is shoddy. Took over half an hour to get my order. Asked for napkins and the guy threw up his arms and said, "What the heck!?". I was peeved off at his reaction and told him asking for napkins was a normal request from a paying customer. Lines can also be long, so if you're willing to put up with a spicy attitude then you'll be just fine.

Service was friendly and patient as we tried to make decisions and asked questions. I have a friend that kind handle chile spice due to medical condition they were very accommodating when it was needed by having certain sauces on the side. We shared a number of dishes and two bottles of wine. We started with the Hummus bil Lahm ou Snobar, my favorite dish of the evening a hummus with bubbling spiced lamb. Baba Ghanouj, Bisara Munir, Arnabeet, Alhalaioun and the chicken and beef Shish Taouk. Everything was delicious. Flavorful, the proteins were cooked perfectly nice and tender. One of our friends likes meat a lot and hadn't cause he thought it was a vegetarian restaurant. We had to have the green chile sauce on the side of the asparagus dish cause of my friend but that was ok we were putting it in other items we loved it so much. Also the whipped garlic that came with the chicken and beef was a big hit! We had never had Lebanese wine and enjoyed our selections. Love that it felt like a healthier meal with the vegetables and spreads. Didn't feel stuffed after but definitely satisfied. They even comped dessert for my friends birthday which I believe was an orange rose water pudding. Welcoming warm space. Parking is fairly easy on a Tuesday night. Looking forward to visiting again

Both were very flavorful and well balanced. Love the different textures. The roasted broccoli was OK, it was on the less cooked side The entree skewers were pretty good too. Shoutout to the kind service that let me combine and do half beef and half chicken because at the point I was too full from all the appetizers I ordered but still wanted to try both. One thing I really loved about the skewer is the sauces that came on the side: one tahini, one garlic, and one tomato. Such delicious sauces! Entrees were a little pricey though. Last but not least my party enjoyed the special Lebanese wine.

I got a build-my-own saj wrap with the mushroom base saj $6, sumac chicken $7, tomato $1.5, cucumber $1.5, pickled turnip $1, and a side of hot sauce $2. The saj bread itself tasted good, but got soaked through by the juice of the chicken and became very soggy. We walked to a park 10 minutes away to eat the wraps and the wraps were bending. The ingredients are fresh but nothing particularly stood out. I didn't quite taste the mushroom on the wrap, and on top of that, I got charged $2 for the hot sauce, but never tasted it in the wrap or found it on the side. My partner got the falafel saj wrap which was overall ddcent, but he also found the saj bread quite soggy, yet the falafels were on the dry side.

The signature saj bread is cooked fresh on a hot stone and is almost like a Middle Eastern flour tortilla with the way it's super thin and satisfyingly chewy bite. The only seating options are a few large benches on the sidewalk, but there's a poster saying you're welcome to sit at the neighboring bar which opens in the late afternoon provided you purchase a drink as well. Ended up sampling 3 of their wrap options and the Zaatar Wrap was deliciously nutty and fragrant, but texturally there was so many herbs that the center ate a little dry. The Lahme Khuruf (Lamb) was my favorite by far with super juicy ground meat with some tang from the labneh, sweetness, freshness from the tomato, and texture from the pine nuts. Absolute home run on this one! The Awarma and Cheese was a close second, but personally, the flavor profile was just a little less interesting than the lamb. Tip: grab some extra napkins as the wraps can fall apart a bit at the end!
