We were fortunate to find a 2 bedroom and kitche area so we changed The second bedroom to a nice comfortable living room that has a door that leads out to a private patio. This is not cheap but after losing my father at the previous place these final years with mom I think will be comfortable here at Arbor Terrace. We came here after her brain surgery and she's had five strokes in the last two years and other injuries but no cancer and no dementia. I travel a lot but I'm with her at least three days a week and she's very demanding on the staff and me which is just her personality, but she's the love of my life and caring for her is my first priority I can't be prouder of the facilities here from the directors to the kitchen staff the medical staff all of the daily caregivers that works so hard to make everyone here as comfortable as they can be. I don't know how they do it. Everybody goes through various changes and illnesses in the later age but they manage it well. I thought I would write this during the pandemic as it's important to know that this location best that I can tell practices extreme safety, restricts entry from outsiders, are getting meals to everybody on time or three times a day every day, and dealing with family trying to see their loved ones who they haven't seen in over a month. There's many people to thank thank you all for the job you do the heroes that you are the care that you give to those we can't be with every day. Highly recommend!

It was quite stressful and frightening to realize that we were at this point in her life and would have to trust in others to take care of her. We love the staff and so does our mother. They treat her with such kindness and care. It is such a relief to have such wonderful people care for our mother. They treat her like she is their family member, not just a resident at the property they work at. During COVID, it is especially hard as we are not able to visit on a regular basis and do the things we typically would for her however the staff is always there to assist us in whatever we need. During this disturbing time they have provided my mother and the other residents with a safe and healthy environment and adhere to all the health guidelines. I would highly recommend making this your loved ones new home if you should be looking for an assisted living/memory care property. We had a camera that we checked remotely and you should have one! Meetings with the Executive Director and Wellness Director were held at our request but nothing changed after their promises. Diapers were not changed on any schedule and sometimes not even once in 24 hours The laundry situation is a joke. After realizing that the laundry facility was in dire need of care, we took the laundry home. The machines are old, don't work right and the laundry detergent that feeds into the machines is usually empty. Most of the machines need to be replaced They laughed at and yelled at him because his diaper was so full of urine and feces. The caregivers morale is low. They came in and yelled at our family member because they had to change him. We finally got one fired, but the others still made cruel comments to him and laughed. Housekeeping and cleanliness is an issue. Rooms were moped with dirty water and vanity and si sky were never cleaned. our loved one died in early December but we were not refunded the balance of the December rent $3, 300 until Feb 6. In our view the owner of Ivy Springs is enriching himself with this low budget facility to the detriment of those who proclaim to give quality care and respect. We will never place anyone in Ivy Springs or any Mainstay Senior living facility, the parent company. My mom lived at a larger assisted…read moreliving facility for 2 years in an early memory care neighborhood but began to need added security at night (bed rails/ cameras) due to being a fall risk and better staff: resident ratio for oversight during the day due to her impaired mobility. Zoe, the owner, is incredibly responsive, very in tune with the residents, and communicative with us about anything potentially going on with my mom before I even get there to notice which has been just a huge relief to know someone is actually paying attention to the signs of a UTI or anything else that may be going on. She even takes those that are able out occasionally for salon days! The home is only 5 bedrooms with 2 staff during the day and 1 at night so the resident: staff ratio is better than anywhere I've found and certainly better than any assisted living you will find! For someone with dementia, less is more and by less I just mean - less people, less commotion, less vast spaces than assisted living, but much much better care all in a true home environment. With only 4 caretakers, my mom very quickly became familiar with and felt comfortable and safe around them vs constant rotations at assisted living. She is able to sleep in, bed rails can be provided as needed, security cameras with audible alarms to staff during the night, and just less space to worry about oversight or being out of sight to where someone like my mom is less likely to fall. The home had comfy recliners in bedrooms and living rooms so residents can lounge comfortably which is a luxury over assisted living! Lori, the other owner, is a registered nurse and has been really helpful in streamlining medication management and dietary needs for my mom. I'm sure I'm missing a million good things about Regency but it has truly been a very positive experience to see my mom so well rested, so happy, and putting on a little weight - she looks better than she has in a very long time and I know it's due to the level of care and oversight she receives from everyone at Regency. Shout out to the amazing staff - Shereka, Candy, Diki, And Tefanie! It's like a little family there. I highly recommend if you are considering alternative options for your loved one to check this out especially for dementia care vs a memory care unit at assisted living both due to the level of care and the level of comfort and quality of life for your loved one.

This facility is impeccably clean well maintained. Zoe and her staff were truly unbelievable in the loving care that they gave my wife until her final days. I know my wife loved this home since she expressed this numerous times. and her love for Terri and Donna. Although the entire staff is excellent, I need to especially recognize Terri and Donna who are now are a part of our extended family. During her time there, my family and I were always welcomed with open arms and we all felt like family. We had 2 family members in this residence and had to move both due to sub-par care…read more The first resident was improperly cared for after a fall and forced to stand on what ultimately was a broken hip. Reports of the incident were then inaccurately reported to the home office. Multiple attempts to work with the home office resulted in no returned phone calls and no corrective action. The point of contact for the family was never notified and the resident had to call directly to reach the family. The second family member was in memory care and moved due to lack of hygiene care and the facilities inability to stop a male resident that continually entered her room and scared her even after multiple requests from the family to care staff. Facilty often had a bad smell unless it was just after cleaning day. Most of the staff were friendly but there have been lots of turnover and they were using contract staff not permanent employees for many roles.

Do NOT put your loved one in Memory Care at Historic Roswell Place. My mom was here and…read moresignificantly declined due to lack of care and neglect. There was a high turnover rate of care givers and other staff. Costs increased almost 20% within a year. The memory care is on the third floor of this old run down building, and she hardly ever saw daylight. They'll lure you in with a big song and dance, and then they'll put them in wheelchairs and they just sit there forgotten. Promises of 'activities, field trips, walks, porch visits'. It was sad and depressing every visit, and the third floor smells like pee. My mom was spry and could walk fine when she got there, and when we finally left for good not even a year later, we had to wheel her out because she never walked around and lost abilities, she was unbathed for weeks, and with a UTI. It's quite a shame. No one there, including the employees, are truly happy.
