The driver seemed very grumpy and was telling US to hurry and get loaded after several of us had been waiting since before 7:45 for what was SUPPOSED to be a 7:50PM pickup. This is Saturday night, not weekday rush hour, btw. I called the office twice; was first told the driver was 20 minutes late. When it was 8:30, I called back and was told the driver got stuck on the tollway (apparently she was actually struck by a car) and would be get another 5-10 minutes. 15 minutes later, at 8:45, a bus finally showed up at the Int'l terminal, but is now picking up from the rest of the airport. Of course half the people didn't/don't have their tickets (or don't know how to pull up on their phones) so he and the ticket woman had to do all that; then sit at the last pickup point until 9:15, but they are still trying to get all the tickets out of people. By the time we get out of here and on the road, we won't arrive at my station after 10PM, and I still have to get a ride from there. They really should have some kind of announcement system and backup plan available. I'm exhausted and this is just the last thing I needed. I will have spent 3 hours at the airport because of this added to the usual international arrival rigamarole. At least the driver and ticket lady could have been friendly and apologetic, but they are being neither. Have yet to hear any kind of apology or explanation. Not okay. We are finally leaving the airport. It is 9:22PM. For a 7:50 scheduled pickup. I am not a happy camper.

A group of us used this company for a concert last Saturday night and it was a nightmare!…read more I won't even get into the driver Sal's driving abilities (which were absolutely awful) or the dirty, smelly van...but let me tell you what happened with our pick up instead. We paid over $700 for a job and we did NOT get what we paid for. Once the concert was over, we had to wait for almost 1.5 hours for him to pick us up! This is unacceptable! First, we walked 2 times around the entire venue and parking lots searching for him, as he kept saying he was "dropping the pin with his location"...we never found him! We all tried calling him numerous times as well and all he could say was "I don't know where I am... or I don't know where you guys are!" Are you kidding me?? What kind of person that has absolutely no sense of direction becomes a driver? It was an awful end to a great night. AND to top it all off, I have gotten no response from the company except that they needed to talk to the driver first and they would get neck to me. NOPE!! Nothing! We went looking for Amy money back, I just wanted an explanation and an apology! Definitely will never use Avanti again (which is a shame because we used to use them years ago all of the time) and we will spread the word of our horrible experience! They did not show, called again, said driver would be there in 23 minutes. Guy pulls up in van (I rented bus). Jumps out in t shirt, shorts, no mask. My children said guy was texting, talking on phone, swerving in and out of lanes and DRIVING 85 with 5 small children in van!!!!!!!! Called twice to see if driver even had a chauffeur license twice and both times said they would pass to owner. Not sure who to report them to because they were so unsafe!!!! I had used them in the past, a few years ago- will NEVER use again.
