The company I work for had a party here and I guess it was okay. I don't bowl but I had a good enough time. I think we were in the Nuggets room. Went there once for their all you can eat pizza buffet. Uh, it really wasn't a buffet considering they only brought out 2 pizzas at a time. They were gone fast. I came here on a Saturday night around 9:00. There was a 10 minute wait for a lane, but that wasn't a problem at all considering there is a bar with decent beer prices, several pool tables, a large arcade room, and ping pong. Everything was new and clean. The atmosphere was a comfortable volume and not as loud as other reviews indicated, although for whatever reason there wasn't a live DJ this night. Somehow one game and shoes for two people ended up being $20. I am told they have better prices during the week. read more

Ok. In all fairness, I only came here because of our work Christmas party. There were 18-20 of us, and they reserved 3 lanes for us and provided catering. I cannot tell you how pleasantly surprised I was. I expected Applebee's-level chicken strips but instead had 3.5-star level pasta. The service was ON POINT and beyond friendly. The atmosphere is so sweet (and corny in a great way, PLUS fun and family-appropriate) with fun music videos on large screens, AMAZING and fast customer service, snazzy bowling shoes, food that is actually not sub-par at all, and a huge arcade... this venue is SO MUCH FUN!! If you've ever been to Bowlero in Lone Tree, you'll recognize the generic bowling layout with a new 'do, but there is something about Celebrity Lanes that not only feels like the opposite of a bowling alley, but a place that actually retains the joy of a bowling alley. Is it magic? Maybe. But you must give it a go and decide for yourself. I would never before have actually given a bowling alley five stars, but these food deserve it. We came here Saturday night ~9pm just to go to Jackson's. We had seen the tiki patio from afar and my husband had exclaimed that it looked nice when he had been there bowling. The bar is huge and has a high ceiling. There is a small seating area upstairs and we trotted right back on to the patio. Which is huge. There were tons of high and low tables and the fire pit in the center is huge. There is a tiki bar outside, though wasn't set up, and the lower level of the patio has all of the outdoor games. We were highly impressed with the drink menus and the pricing. The beer selection is huuuuge and there are 3-4 sizes you can choose from. Just a note that the small size is 7oz and is a highball glass. Perfect if you just want to try a sample. I had the margarita sampler, which gave me three 7oz glasses in any flavour I wished. I chose lime, raspberry, and mango and instead got strawberry, raspberry, and mango. All were made with juice vs a gross mix and while they were a tad sweet for my liking, they were very good. My husband stuck with beer and had no issues. We ordered a couple of appetizers to graze on and I had the spinach artichoke dip and my husband had the potato skins. Both arrived quickly and were nice and hot. My dip was on a huge platter and had both chips and a bread bowl. I liked the bread bowl best as it was super fresh sourdough. The dip itself is full of artichokes and wasn't the usual sour cream soup. The potato skins came on a tortilla that had melted cheese on it and so that was a nice change as well. We met up with friends after and one of them ordered the personal nachos and it was enough to feed 4 people. Definitely share this one! Overall, we had a great time here. There is karaoke Saturday nights, though beware as it can get pretty loud if the bar isn't busy. Service is very helpful, though a little sparse at times, and you can easily pick servers out by their Hawaiian tops. read more

This place has it all: bowling lanes, restaurant/bar, and medium-sized arcade. They even have secluded VIP lanes, which I bet would be cool for parties. The good: the place is lively and clean. It's a pretty classy and contemporary look, not your normal old bowling alley. The bad: it's loud, it's dark, and it's expensive. On a Friday night , an hour on a lane is $35 and shoe rentals are $5 a pair. So not a cost effective place to bowl unless you have several people in your group. We love this place. Waitress Michele is the best! She is there all the time, she takes care of so many people, but she always goes out of her way to say hi to our special needs son. The bowling is fun, sometimes it's crowded and sometimes it's not. The arcade has lots of games. The laser tag room is pretty cool, it's got a statue of Archangel Michael killing a demon. Very slow service.. Even if there's two or more people at the counter, only one person takes the customers and other(s) just walking around inside the counter... It feels like they do not care making customers to wait in line for long time. On weekends, there's many young ppl who does not know any etiquette of bowling.. throwing bowling balls in craziest way (they were throwing bowling balls like regular balls, two ppl throwing balls together in one lane at the same time, etc. I even got worried that they may mess up the lanes). I was surprised to see that no employees came over to say something about it. My experience differs all depends on who was playing next to me. Very last visit I had, everything was good. Employee at the counter (young male) was prompt and got the lane btwn ppl who knows etiquette of bowling. However, 3 out of 4 times I went.. services were very slow at the counter and had crazy young people next to us. Unfortunately there is no way to reply back to a posted review from a Manager at Celebritys . You did not respond to the fact that we had worked with 2 different people on your sales team both times we were coming to your facility and had worked out prices with them, offered by them and checked by the manager on site at the times of the calls of which you tried to say we had not. I have a voicemail left on my phone by one of your sales people confirming our pricing. Your staff was rude and actually hung up on us when we called to confirm our reservations. Nor did you address why your GM was giving out false info when asked who I was talking to when he and I were on the phone or identify yourself the "owner" in your response. We work with several other Special Needs groups and I am pretty sure they don't go to your facility and/or won't be. Just because you host a big event for Special Needs doesn't mean you treat smaller groups badly. You can try to cover this up but the fact is you did not honor your word with us, you have horrible communication with your sales team and the managers need management training all the way up to the GM. How you treated, spoke to us, is not ok to treat anyone that way, especially a paying customer. read more

I have been here a few times before, and it has always been just Meh. The reason I gave it a 3rd try is because it was close to us, and it was snowy. First, we get there and there were quite a few people bowling. We arrived at 10 AM, which is when the restaurant was open, however they had no cook. They also only had 1 server, that also had to man the coffee counter. I walked into the bar to get a round of beers, and was told to go back to my lane, and a server would be over to take the order. Guess what, no server came over to take our order. I do not understand why I just couldn't buy some beer, and carry to the lane. It wasn't until we were done bowling and ready to leave that a server came over and said the cook was there now if we wanted food. We said "No Thanks", and left. Loved going to this place for bowling and trivia, was a weekly tradition untill I had one of the worst experiences I have every had. We sit down at Jacksons and we order water, the water tasted like dirty dish water. I didnt mind so I ordered a sprite, the sprite was awful seemed like they had to replace the syrup bag/box. Still didn't mind, after they brought me a sprite from the other side of the building. We finally ordered food and I decided to share my burger so we asked to have the burger cut in half cooked medium with the toppings on the side. Everything was correct except the burger was well done. At this point I was a little upset because nothing seemed right. I told the waitress that the burger was over cooked and that I wanted it medium, she said she would take care of it so I waiting. A few moments later she comes out with half of a burger just the meat cooked medium. I was shocked!!!! They couldnt bring me the burger how I asked? Yes I understand I shared half of it, but to only bring me half of the patty is just pathetic! I have gone to food trucks on colfax that would make me a whole new order if it was made incorrectly. So at this point I was livid, a few moments later she brings our check and they actually charged us for the burger even after she saw the half of the patty just sitting there untouched. No manager approached me nothing was done to try to solve the situation. Its just bad service and extremely unprofessional. I would be embarrassed if I was the staff there at Jacksons. read more

No clue where the previous bad reviews came from... My family and I had a great time last Saturday! Clean, new facilities, automated scoring, the works! You have the choice of paying by the hour or by the game. For the three of us it came about the same, so we played 2 games in 55 minutes. The staff was great and helped us get set up with the scoring system. Several scoring "themes" to choose from and the "Spare-Finder" tip system was neat. Did not partake of the food, but from what we saw it looked ok. Big arcade area, but again we did not use it. All-in-all a great, fun distraction for the family. We will be back read more

Come here every Wednesday with a group of individuals with intellectual disabilities. There's always one older lady that is super rude to us. If I ask for water, she says, "all you have to do is ask" as if I didn't just ask. Also tried to tell us one of our clients were not allowed in the bowling alley. I mentioned that we always have him under control and she just walked away. If one of the clients want to buy food/drinks, she always makes sure to take her time to not interact with us. Our clients love coming here and every other staff is always exceptional. This particular staff always makes our visits unpleasant which is unfortunate. Other than her, we always have a great time here. I have tried to get her name but she never has a name tag. Just avoid her and you'll have a great time! read more

To begin, I came in to bowl pretty late at night the other night. I was with some friends that were, yes, pretty intoxicated. We walk in and are greeted with "Hi, we close in an hour." Seriously? I understand the frustration, I really do, but you're a business here to please customers. But anyway, we start bowling and decided we need some water and some beer. We go to the service counter and are greeted by the sweetest girl I think I've ever met. Her name is Mickayla(sp?). She was so pleasant and nice to be around. She completely saved this place, in my opinion. I ended up tipping her like $9 just for handing me some water, but she is totally worth it. I hope they know what a gem they have on their staff, and I hope if you ever encounter her, you will tip her well! read more

Not only do they act as if they're all sleeping with each other but people hang around the front counter so much that customers, like myself, get neglected at the counter. I had a few people finish a conversation before asking me how they could help me. One girl, long dark curly hair, even finished a text message before helping. On December 7th, 2012 my pregnant wife and our children ate lunch together at Jackson's at Celebrity Lanes after going bowling. My wife and young daughter (then, just 12 months old) shared the fish and chips. They still had food leftover, so they had it packed up and brought it home to me. I ate the remainder of their leftovers when they got home. Shortly thereafter my daughter and wife became violently ill. A couple of hours following the start of their illness, I also became sick. After a few hours of intense vomiting and diarrhea, my wife called her OBGYN. As she was unable to hold down any liquids at all, she was risking severe dehydration for both herself and our unborn baby. Her doctor advised her to go to the emergency room to receive IV fluids, and to run tests to eliminate any other possibilities besides food poisoning. While at the Emergency Room, my wife was given multiple bags of IV fluids and the doctors ran a number of tests to rule out all other possibilities besides food poisoning. She was discharged a number of hours later, after all of the tests came back negative, thus leading to a diagnosis of food borne illness from the physician. Thankfully, my daughter and I were able to avoid trips to the ER, however, the situation was clearly much more serious for my wife due to her pregnancy. The charges for my wife's visit to the ER totaled $1,643.55. We have requested that Celebrity Lanes pay for the expenses we incurred as a result of their food. They have refused to do so even after being furnished with our original receipt, and all of the medical records including tests run, and the physician's report concluding a diagnosis of food borne illness. We've been very disappointed by their lack of both integrity and sympathy. Please beware of patronizing Celebrity Lanes. read more

I have to say I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked our company holiday party here because I hadn't been there before. However, after the fact all I can say is WOW!! This place rocked!! We had 29 people at the bowling party and everything went PERFECT. When we arrived, the room looked amazing, we booked the Avalanche room which I loved because I LOVE hockey and it is completely private! (They have another private room too which is Nuggets themed) The two ladies who were assigned to us that night had everything ready to go. The shoes were all in the room, the bar was stocked (we did a cash bar because of liability reasons - great option!) and the appetizers were out. For our food, we chose the Rio Grande which is a fajita/taco bar. The dessert was a chocolate fountain and that was a big hit. Food was great and everyone was happy with the whole night. Service was great! They made sure everything went smooth, put all the names in the computer so we could just eat and bowl. We didn't have to worry about anything but having FUN! The whole night was excellent and I can't wait to go back again next year! read more

I'm rating two stars because the bowling was fun, however the service was awful. We bowled almost an entire game and not one person greeted us or came to take our order. After chasing someone down, he basically told us we weren't in his section and would find someone to help us. He never came back and so I went to find him again. He then pointed to another lane and said your server is over there. Just as he was saying that the waitress came over and said that she was helping other people. By the time she came to take our order we were on our 8th frame and then seemed to have an attitude when we said we no longer wanted to order anything. The least she could have done was greeted us and say I'll be with you soon or have another server step in for her to help. When I said this, she then apologized. We finished our game and decided to eat elsewhere. This is now the second time that I've had terrible service from Celebrity Lanes and they haven't done anything to try to improve or rectify their mistakes. If you're looking to just bowl and not enjoy any food or drinks, then this is the place for you. read more

The bowling was fun and the employees were very friendly, asking us what kind of songs we'd like to hear, cracking jokes with us etc. but like another reviewer I also got food poisoning from their food! My friends ordered desserts and I was the only one who ordered a chicken quesadilla. They feel fine. Last night when I got home I immediately threw up my food and continued to experience nausea and diarrhea today. I called to tell a manager but the person I spoke with didn't have a response other than thanking me. I hope they audit how food is prepared--there was guac and sour cream with my quesadilla so I suspect one of those may have been the culprit. This was my first time here. If a friend invites me to go bowling again I'll do that, but I won't be ordering any more food. read more

this probably is the best bowling alley that I have been to ever. There no dirty carpet with gum and puke stains and is very clean. Has a good bar that doesn't feel like your shady bowling alley bar, it has a sports bar type of feel. Also they have servers who bring drinks to your lane which is a plus. We've been to celebrity lanes quite a few times. I did a bowling league here a few years ago, and it was great then. Now though..... The bar service is pretty terrible. We sat down at a table, and it took the server ten minutes to bring us menus, another ten minutes to take our drink orders, and then he disappeared. Just completely disappeared. Even the bartenders didn't know where he went. Then there are the music videos. This should be a family friendly place. Within minutes of arriving, we couldn't help but notice that the only music videos playing were rap and hip hop. I'm talking gangster rap here.. Legit gangsters (crips) had a music video playing with the entire crew flashing their guns at the camera (I was hoping they were going to accidentally shoot one of their homies), flashing their money, and repping their gang with their blue. The other music videos were flat out disgusting. Most of them had women in underwear twerking. One video in particular, while being spank bank material for a Compton/Colfax/Chicago O.G. had a chorus of "Fu** a dude and get some money" no joke...Really? This is acceptable to show at a family friendly bowling alley? Also, they put too much oil on the lanes. We won't go back. read more
