I was intrigued to come here as gel manicure was $25. They took their time and I didn't feel rushed at all. I had originally wanted a different design but unfortunately they didn't carry the color or anything similar. In terms of design, I think it was ok just think there are other places that would do it better. Also, the side of one nail wasn't completely covered. I've been here once before, YEARS ago. I didn't have time to get my nails and eyebrows done back home so I called them up while I was in town, and they were able to fit me in before closing. I don't recall the names, but the ladies were both nice. The one who did my pedicure and manicure did a FANTASTIC job. She also did my eyebrows for me. While I was leaving and in the car, I noticed my sandal had messed up my pinky toe. I went back and they had just closed but they opened back up so that they can quickly fix it for me. I greatly appreciated that. Their prices are unbeatable! If I still lived in town, I would go there very often ! This spot is inside a hair salon. When I first arrived it was a warm summer day and the AC was off. I was sweating. I was miserable. I thought they just had no AC and I was just toughing it out through my manicure. Then someone asked them to turn on the air and my life changed. What a stupid thing to not ask right? Went with my fiancé for mani and pedi and we LOVED it. First of all his feet were pretty bad he had calluses and Sony did amazing at making his feet as soft as a baby's bottom (he got the callus peel). I had Christina and she was as well amazing. The massage at the end of the pedi is incredible. I did a gel manicure and while my nails cured she gave me a back massage which I so needed. My fiancé ended up getting the deep tissue massage and he loved it. We will definitely be back. Actually this is our only nail salon spot from now on. I came here on a Sunday afternoon since my regular salon wasn't picking up their phone though their hours said they'd be open. The parking lot fits a few cars but sometimes it's one car behind another so I just parked on the street so I didn't block anyone in. It's up a flight of stairs. When I walked in, they were pretty busy though I had made an appointment. I sat and waited for about 6-8 mins after my appointment, no big deal. I got a pedicure, which was done really well and they even gave me a quick hot stone massage. The chairs do have the massage feature also, which is nice. Then I got an eyebrow wax, she did take her time. Though, didn't asking me what I wanted, which I found a little odd. She took a little more off than I'd like honestly but whatever. Then I got the manicure, which was pretty quick. I wished she had put on a few more layers of the nail polish because in some areas, it looks super thin. But no biggie since it all came out to $28 ($20 for mani/pedi combo and $8 for the wax), which was an amazing price. I saw that they accepted credit card, but she said that they preferred cash if I could. :-/ Fine. I guess I'll hit up the ATM again. Otherwise, pretty good spot. Came here because my regular nail place is closed on Sundays. (I'm glad I had read the other reviews and knew to go to the second floor.) I had such a good experience I might have to cheat on my regular place again! The space is super cozy and very clean, the staff is friendly and the prices are great. I was also very pleasantly surprised that on a weekend afternoon it wasn't crazy packed and busy. I got a gel manicure (my first ever!) for $25 and she did a really nice job to last through the holidays. I want to come back and get the manicure & pedicure deal. The only reason I won't give 5 stars is because with the gel I wish they did a little bit more of the usual pampering stuff you get with a regular manicure. read more

This salon is affordable, comfortable, and entertains you with sappy but fun romantic comedies while you're pampered and even gives shoulder/back rubs at the end of a manicure. They do a great job, are polite, friendly, and most importantly, HONEST. A couple of days ago, I took off a ring which means a lot to me and left it in the salon. When I realized it, they were already closed and weren't open the next day. By the time they opened the next morning, I was so hoping my ring was still there. I found this gem through Groupon and am so glad I did. I've been twice now and both times were great. If you don't use their current Groupon offer, they offer a spa manicure and pedicure with hot stone and paraffin for $20! The place is very clean and hygienic, and the owners are friendly and sweet. The little extras including a shoulder rub while I was waiting for my nails to dry completed the experience. So relaxing! I got a gel manicure for $25. Jun (male) served me and he took his time and effort unlike other experiences where I felt it was rushed. He was gentle when cutting my cuticles which is good because i have very sensitive skin. They only accept cash for tip! I didn't know since it was my first time there but they were very accommodating and let me put my tip on my card. I'll be sure to bring cash next time. The service is without question excellent. With the amount of salons in a 3 block radius (at least 9 or 10), this place stands out. My only issue is the polish DOES NOT last! For $20 I go for a mani/pedi, but my polish chips 2-3 days in. For that reason, I've only gone here for a quick fix, but wouldn't give up my "real spa" experience. Remember, you get what you pay for. Also, the shellac that they use also chips fast and is hard to get off. Be warned. Nice people, need to use better quality polish without thinning it out. read more

I've come back 4-5 times since my initial review and I have to say, they consistently deliver and at such an amazing price. Seriously, $20 for a full-on spa mani/pedi is unheard of. The owner is so cute, she even gave me a parting gift when she found out I'd be moving to the west coast. There is a bit of a language barrier since the owners weren't born here and they may not be the friendliest people at first, but they are really honest and hardworking. Can't say enough good things about them... and really, they always seem genuinely grateful for whatever amount you tip them. OK so update on this nail salon. I went back recently to have the same services I had the last time which was a regular pedicure and gel manicure. at first when I walked in, it seemed like the normal speed time for both employees. The person who did my pedicure was a different person and he was very impersonal and also didn't do the best job when it came to touching up my feet, I felt rushed. The lady who did my gel manicure normally lets my nails soak with the acetone and this time around she just filed them away which made my nails very thin and brittle. one of my nails actually broke today and also the paint job for the gel manicure was not her best. it seemed like once I got there, they got busier but even if they got busier I still believe it's quality over quantity. If you do an awesome job on the services you customers ask for, other customers will see that and they will remember it. I'm pretty sure most people would rather wait a longer time and have perfect nails/toes than have a short rush job and subpar nails/toes. I found this hidden gem through Yelp! It had very few reviews, but all consistently good so I decided to give it a try. I couldn't believe it. $20 for mani/pedi??! I figured it had to be a shady place and boy was I WRONG!! The staff was welcoming and polite. Jay did such a great job on my pedicure that I felt bad paying just $20, so I just gave them a nice tip! You get a normal spa pedicure, but then they give you a hot Stone massage and paraben oil treatment on your heels while you get polish done. Wow. Talk about a neat experience. I would have paid $20 for the foot massage alone!! My mani was done while my toes were polished. When it was time to dry, they moved me to the drying station. It was so clean. Very hygienic salon! I was pleasantly surprised when she started to give me a quick 5 min. upper back massage. Total PLUS!! They have a coupon card. After your quoth visit, you get a complimentary spa pedicure. I found this place through Groupon. It was a great experience and I was shocked to find out that their regular price for a spa mani-pedi is $20. I am definitely returning. I loved the neck/shoulder massage while my nails were drying and the careful attention to my feet with an amazing mini-massage was great. One negative comment I have to make is that he cut my nails too short and while I did indicate I wanted them cut short I never thought it would be this short. The first time I went, I got a really good gel manicure. However the second time I went was a complete nightmare. Firstly, it appears that my manicure may have been applied a little too good (bare with me) basically it took 15 minutes to get the polish off, and at the end my nails were weak and sore to the touch. After I relayed this to my manicurist she suggested that I maybe get a regular mani instead of my usual gel, to which I agreed because my nails were really sore. Once the owner caught wind of this she basically bullied me into getting the gel and proceeded to rebuke her employer for encouraging me to do otherwise and she was very nasty about it. If there is one thing that I can not stand it is when employers belittle and speak condescendingly to their employees. It was a very uncomfortable situation and ultimately I got the gel because I feared that the girl might be fired or reprimanded even worse if I had not. After the owner took over and snatched the file from the manicurist she proceeded to give me a quickie manicure which literally lasted 1 day before it chipped. So I was not only accosted into getting something I didn't want and had to witness unfair treatment but I ended with a shitty manicure as well. Needless to say I will NOT be going back. read more
