We hired Ken 3 years ago, in June of 2020, to install our 30' x 12' patio cover. We have an odd shaped roofline that doesn't go straight across and he assured us that he was able to work around it without any issues. We also had additional concrete poured, including a slab to extend the patio, a walkway around the back of our house and up our side yard, and two strips out front for parking. I was told there was a "lifetime warranty" and that if anything ever went wrong, all I had to do was call. The first time we had a heavy rain after having our patio cover installed, we found there was a significant leak right at the area where the roof line pops out. I messaged Ken and he was very responsive and came to look at it that same day. But it was not fixed. 3 months after that I messaged him again with no response, then after getting tired of having a bucket under our patio to catch water when it rained and moving our patio furniture so it wouldn't keep getting wet, I messaged him feeling very frustrated in June of 2021. He apologized and said they had been "really busy" and came out the following week. We had to wait til it rained again to see if his repair worked. It did not. I messaged him again a few months later to tell him that the leak was still there and he never responded. We just gave up and have been dealing with it since then. In the meantime... the concrete we had poured is slowly deteriorating and chipping away all over the place. I sent Ken a message in January of this year to ask about the company who poured the concrete and showed him a picture of how poorly it's been holding up. He sent the name and number of the company, but seemed otherwise unconcerned about the poor quality and that this was through the company he hired for us to use. I messaged the owner at Arteaga's concrete and they have also failed to follow through with any help or remedies for the situation. I hired Ken because he had great reviews. I trusted the company he was using for concrete because I had faith that he was using someone who provided good quality, since that's what he pitched to us. I am beyond frustrated and disappointed in the customer service, lack of ability to fix what should have been a simple repair, and the poor quality of the company he uses to pour concrete on his jobs. I don't ever write reviews, but I don't want anyone else to end up in the position we are, years down the road, with no solutions in sight and nobody taking accountability for their work. I'm very disappointed in Celebrity Patios and Arteaga's concrete which they use. read more

Hate to do this but I've given Ken 2 years to complete the job and he hasn't. I've seen other reviews on here as well where he doesn't complete jobs. He did my patio cover which is fine, but he was also supposed to hang a box and run electrical for a fan. I've texted him many times even have the texts from 2 years ago where he gave me the date he'd come out. Nothing. Now he ignores my texts like others have put in their reviews. Bottom line is my job was not completed 2 years later. Others have posted the same complaints. Do you want the same for your house ? So here's a couple pics. First is of the text between me and Ken. He didn't put the fan on the contract because he wanted the $250 off the books. It's obvious theee is an agreement to hang the box and run the electric. The second is the transcription of a voicemail he left me. VERY AGGRESSIVE. He followed that up with a curse laden phone call screaming about this review. I don't know how this company stays in business. Ken was responsive when I messaged through the system to request a quote. He confirmed Wednesday at 9, clearly through some app or calendar feature (photo attached). On Tuesday morning at 8:26 he texts and says ETA 9:20. I replied back that our appointment was for Wednesday at 9 not Tuesday at 9. I had another vendor coming for a quote at 9, so I said he could come at 10 if he still wanted the appointment on Tuesday. No big deal, the sooner the appointment the better and we were already home. He showed up, spent a good 30 minutes here discussing options, showing me some fliers and we asked for pricing for 3 options. He said he would email them to me. He left by 10:30 on Tuesday and we have not heard from him since - it has been a full week. I have money to spend and ready to get on someone's calendar. It shouldn't be this hard to give someone money. Thank goodness I had 4 companies come out so we had options. We've chosen one of the others whose responsiveness has been stellar. EDIT 2 HOURS LATER: Check out the screen shot of what this moron said to me - and he's the owner of the business! Boy he sure solidified our thoughts that we dodged a bullet with this guy. I'll summarize if you cannot see the photo. His response to my review: "I'm sorry I couldn't be more responsive to your needs. I run a small business, so I can deliver great customer service. I have been completely overwhelmed. I'm busy taking care of existing customers. Sometimes I can't get to everyone. It's not a perfect world." My response: "There's no excuse for a week going by with zero communication. If you could not handle additional customers, you shouldn't have wasted our time by making the appointment to come out. Your response is insulting." His response: "Get over it" I think this exchange speaks for itself. AVOID THIS ONE! 2nd Edit...See his now public response. Funny how the story changes. He had full details of our project BEFORE coming out. If he wasn't interested, a simple "I don't think I can help with this one" would have been the end of it. Nope. He set the appointment. He came out (on the wrong day) and when he left he said he would send a quote. He never followed up. In the first response he said couldn't get back to me because he's so busy, now the story has changed to he doesn't quote every project. *Rolls eyes* Not to worry Ken, I'm "over it" which you told me to do, twice. Nice way to run a business. I'm done with you and your very unprofessional attitude. read more

We are very happy with our installation. Our patio required four footings both inside and at the edge of our deck. They worked to undercut the edge footings without damageing our landscaping and minimizing the cuts to the deck for a 34X34X34 sized footing. The hand matched the pattern with the concrete. The patio has clean attachements to the house, the mated edges and the surrounding flashing. Each day, the crew was quiet, constantly working and cleaned up EVERY bit of debris each working day.
