Walked in, it wasn't packed, and I appreciated that -- you could tell they were actually focused on their clients and not just rushing through back to back. They offered me something to drink while I waited and the green tea with lavender was really good!! Mark was my stylist -- he was professional, friendly, and easy to talk to. He gave me a great haircut and one of the best blowouts I've ever had. And I mean that. I have very long, thick, wavy textured hair and a blowout alone never cuts it for me. I always have to follow up with a flat iron. That's a big deal for my hair type. I left with my hair looking amazing and didn't need to touch it. Also the products made my hair smell amazing! I was charged extra for longer hair but I expected it and the price was fair. Most importantly, I felt extremely relaxed and comfortable the whole time. My hair was getting out of control, so I searched high and low for someone who had good reviews that had done tape-ins before. That's where Jennifer came in. I emailed her in desperation telling her my situation and she got me in THE SAME WEEK, and she works late hours so you can actually schedule with her after work which I feel like never happens. So, scheduling with her was an enormous win - but the experience was even better. I left work and got there a little early, she got me right in and offered me champagne - which I guess I shouldn't have been surprised by given the name, but OH MY GOSH was it a nice surprise after a horrendously long day at work. Yes, please! She then worked on my hair and we chatted, she gave me some pointers on how to keep my hair extensions soft and healthy and she listened to exactly what I wanted. After scrolling through instagram one day I came across Taisha's page. I booked for a silk press and was able to find an appointment within the next week. A few weeks later I returned to her for a wig install of a bob wig she made for me. I tend to run about 10 minutes late to my appointments and Taisha is always very accommodating. I am extremely tender headed and Taisha takes her time to accommodate me. Chatting with her is a blast, but she understands if I want to nap through the appointment also. The only issue i have is that her schedule doesn't allow for many evening appointments so I always have to come during my work hours. The alternative is to check the schedule of another stylist in the shop.
