The pork belly on a stick is a knockout! Honestly, you could order toast or a bun, cut these in half and put them on and it would make a legendary sandwich. It's extremely difficult to find good onion rings anymore. Most of them are GFS or Sysco pre-made crap in most restaurants. Here they are beer battered and made from scratch and fried until nice and crispy. Ask for ranch as a side. I would get these over the fries every time I go. I think the best thing on the menu is the Brisket bomb grilled cheese...OMG it is insane. It's freshly smoked brisket, pimento cheese, caramelized onions on Texas toast....bro....pair this with the onion rings and you got a 5 star meal for under $20. Now the one thing I wouldn't order here...steak. This is not a steakhouse. Not in the slightest. I would put it not he same level as Cracker Barrel or Waffle House in the this category. Think cut steaks that seem to be of select grade...just no. Don't do it. Go to Texas Roadhouse or somewhere that specializes in steaks. They're kind of pricy here at $37 for a ribeye...you can get a fat hand cut one that's almost a couple pounds at TR for that price....just pass on steak and stick to the BBQ or burgers. A lot of the sharable are good. Haven't tried the salads. Drinks are decently priced and well made. The vibe of this one is a lot different than Garner. Here it's more "clean new restaurant with a country style" vs "Dive bar that was rescued" in Garner. Pro Tip: If you're leaving Raleigh headed down 95 after work, it's easy access off the highway after you get out of Raleigh traffic and want to stop. They are fast here as well so it's a good quick meal.

The ribs were a little dry, but the sauce came in like a hero with a cape. The club sandwich? Really good. The kind of sandwich that makes you pause mid‑bite and go, "Okay, I see you." And yes, I tried the moonshine flight. The peanut butter cup flavor shouldn't work, but it does -- like dessert that decided to join a biker gang. Shame. We need another restaurant in the area that offers breakfast! Anyway, my guy ordered his usual: link sausage, two scrambled eggs, biscuits and grits and it was okay. The sausage had an interesting flavor which is not to his liking, almost like it wasn't real fillers. I had the tenderloin and gravy which is a larger portion than the one you get at the four oaks restaurant. They're home fries were hot and fresh. We may just stick to their dinner specials, though.

Service was friendly and attentive. Our drinks never went empty during our meal. The owner also stopped by to check on us as well. Our server brought us a small basket of hushpuppies, clearly just out of the fryer. While hot, the recipe had not changed over the years and were just as bland as always. Accompanying the hushpuppies was a small serving of some sort of sauce; it didn't had much flavor but I think it was supposed to be butter or at least buttery. My dining companion got the quarter-rack rib special. The ribs were meaty, very flavorful, and tender. They were good enough that the accompanying barbecue sauce really detracted from the ribs. The potato salad was as good as ever. The serving included 4 ribs for $12.50, which I thought was a very good value. I had my standard, the Pork Plate with slaw and potato salad. The serving of chopped pork was generous, but was too dry and over seasoned for my taste. The slaw was fine but unexceptional. The $12.56 price on the menu was a reasonable value, however after we paid we found out that we were charged $13.50. It turns out that the printed menus Wilber's provides in the restaurant don't reflect their latest prices on Toast. Our server did not mention anything about price discrepancies. The difference in prices doesn't seem like they are just rolling in the sales tax to the orders either. This is absolutely unacceptable and reflects a huge failure in judgement by the management and owner. Shame on you. All in all, our experience rates a four-star review. However, when taking the price discrepancies into account, Wilber's earns a 3-star review and that is generous. Restaurants need to accurately advertise their prices to their Customers, whether dining in or getting take out.
