I'm glad I walked around Hong Kong Mall when the original cell phone repair shop I found on Google across from Six Ping Bakery was not opened like their 10am sign said (found out they are new owners that took over the previous shop that had the reviews I saw on Google). Had to call them and the man on the phone didn't seem kind/ friendly. I think all things happen for a reason and I found Thanh Phat/ Duy's shop- a much better place with honest people who work fairly quick too. I'll definitely be telling friends and family to come here and will bring my kids phones back here in the future to be repaired when they drop and shatter their glass.

Once I returned home my phone read "NO SIM CARD FOUND" and the phone edges were chewed up. This same employee forgot to re-install the "SIM CARD" which disabled my phone for nearly 24 hrs. I returned the following day and this same employee tossed this SIM CARD onto the countertop causing the SIM CARD and SIM CARD HOLDER to separate. I walked out disappointed and noticed the phone still read "NO SIM CARD FOUND" while at my vehicle, so I walked back in and this employee stated, "You forgot your SIM CARD." This employee damaged my phone's backplate, failed to install my SIM CARD disabling my phone for nearly 24 hrs, and never implemented any professionalism or integrity. He then blamed me for all his mistakes. Once home I inspected my phone more closely and noticed more damage done by this employee taking my phone apart to install the new battery. I reached out asking for assistance with the damages, and I was ignored, therefore I wrote them a negative review. This employee eventually returned my call putting all the blame on me and stated I was rude. I asked to speak with his manager and he refused and hung up. It looks like 2 separate businesses, but they complement each other. If I couldn't find something in one "store", I could try next door. Because the prices are right, I often shop for my friends on phone accessories, such as carrying cases and screen protectors. I spoke to the staff and found that they only sell single use cell phone service (not contracts) for T-Mobile, Cricket, MetroPCS etc and unlocked used/new cell phones for any carriers. It's conveniently located at the corner of Corporate and Beechnut - a strip mall called "Sesame Plaza". They have bright LED lights that lit up the street corner. The staff spoke fluent Spanish and English.
