The absurdly high rating for this biz had me calling them immediately, in which a young man named Eid promptly quoted $250 to fix it. This was at least $50-75 cheaper than most of their competition. I agreed to it. It's a tiny shop that's next to a gas station. It looks completely run down and if it weren't for the reviews, I'd have a hard time seeing myself here. I was told that I'd be able to come pick it up in roughly 3 hours. Kudos for allowing same-day service. By the time it was ready for pickup, I came in to inspect the phone. I noticed just there are some gaps on the screen but it was responsive. Right as it became time to pay I learned they were unwilling to accept the Yelp check in offer of 10% off and would charge an additional $20 fee when deciding to use a credit card. I went out to get cash and eventually paid. When asking for a receipt, he gave me a piece of paper with some scribbles and largely illegible penmanship. Overall the repair was successful, the price was right, but the inconvenience and shoddy customer service might mean I will reconsider my business if this ever happens again.

I explained to him my tv was working fine when I dropped it off, my cable port is what was getting fixed. He continued to say it was nothing he can do and he didn't do anything wrong but my tv now has a crack across it that wasn't there when he accepted it. I asked for the owner and he said he didn't know how to get in touch with him, then later on in the conversation say he was the owner. This is an expensive 65in television that now has a crack going across it. This guy does not want to take accountability for what he has done. Do not take your business here, he will break your item and act like he didn't do it. Really is disappointing to see this is a black man. So much for supporting your people.

The results were shocking: the glass backing was visibly lifted and detached on all corners, causing it to crack immediately after I set the phone down at home. Furthermore, the "new" LED screen was defective and consistently flashed pink. When confronted with these two failed services, the staff blamed me for the damage and only offered a discount to fix their own mistakes. If you ignore this warning and still go here, DO NOT pay with Zelle or cash. Use a credit card so you can actually dispute the charges when the repairs fail. This is a lovely little cell phone store right next to my gym, which offers very cheap service and pretty decent prices on repairs and accessories and whatnot. It's definitely cheaper than the likes of a Verizon store or not. I think they offered Cricket last time I checked, but in general it's a good little store for a low-income area and exactly what the area needs. And the fact that it's 30 seconds walk from the door of my gym makes it even better.
