When I arrived at the store, he looked at my phone and gave me a more detailed understanding of each step, and which components might be affected, and gave me enough information to know at which point we would fully repair the phone or fix it enough to salvage data and replace it, or not bother and save my money for a replacement. I felt well informed and knew that I would not be stuck with more costs than would be worthwhile. In half a day, Jordan called to tell me what the damage was and had my phone fully repaired and in better shape than it has been in years. Kind and informative communication with the customer, providing transparent costs of repairs for decision-making, and expert workmanship makes CPR an EXCELLENT repair store! After calling around, though, I was very lucky to find Thomas's Gadgets to get it repaired. I dropped off the receiver at Thomas's and the issue was diagnosed and the part was ordered before I even got a call back from some of the other shops. The repair was completed and I had it back in only seven working days. They also worked on my keyless door openers that had been damaged by leaking batteries. These repairs saved me a lot of money, time and shipping delays. And I saw other items in their shop for repair including large flat screens and smaller electronics, too. Thomas's is located only about 1.5 miles from interstate 4 and I was asking myself how far I would drive to get work done there. My answer was at LEAST 50 miles. Probably farther. Communications about my repair issues were complete, timely and included photos of the problem. The estimated price range for repair was given and the final price was right in the middle of the range. Do not be put off by the storefront. As a former business owner I know that the way to keep prices low is to keep down overhead expenses. The savings are passed along to the customer at Thomas's. And do not let the shop's name fool you. This is a serious business that can solve serious electronic problems. At least one of the technicians has education and training in avionic electronics. If he can do repair work on a Cessna, he can probably solve your problem. I received a level of professionalism, efficiency and honesty from Thomas's Gadgets, Inc. that I have not experienced for a very long time, if ever.

I took my new PC here after I was done building it because I was not having luck with turning it on. After a day of looking at the system and even trying it with their parts to see if anything worked, I was told the power supply was fried and may have fried the other components. They recommended I RMA all the parts to get new ones from the manufacturers and try again. I did exactly that, but was sent back all the original parts with statements saying they were working. The employees stated if I brought it back to them they would put it together for me and load windows, for a price of course. Once I got all my parts back, I put it together again, and had the same issue. After consulting one of my buddies who also built their own PC, it was found that I had the front panel connector on the wrong set of pins. The Motherboard I have was a little confusing on where to put the connectors which is why this happened. I have lived in DeLand for most of my life and hoped we had some good businesses in our town; but my experience was not that. I am all for supporting small/local businesses.
