Knew about ifixscreens due to frequenting the Dunkin Donuts next door and gave them a shot. Walked in with a shattered screen and walked out about 15 minutes later with a new one and Mike was even nice enough to clean my back camera lens which had become clouded with dust. I'd say the replacement screen isn't quite as vibrant as the original Apple screen but it is functional and most importantly my phone lives to see another day. Ok ok so anyway I called around & either the price was over $100 or just seemed shady. After being referred by friends,getting an $85 quote by phone I crossed my fingers that I wouldn't get ripped off,my main frame hacked into,identity stolen and my precious photos sold on the black market to creepies across the world! To my surprise it was fantastic! To the point,friendly,knowledgeable,fast & most importantly fair. There's a 90day warranty on screens & batteries that I know of for sure but I believe it's all parts/services(double check).If they aren't super busy he can get it done while you wait but don't expect it. Avg wait time otherwise is about an hour & if you have an old version of the same phone,charge it and take out the sim & well...USE IT! If you don't then be thankful to be free of it for an hour because it's extremely sad how attached we are to our devices(yes me too)! My daughter had the cracked screen of her iPhone replaced at this shop on April 20th. About a week ago, she placed her phone on the counter for the night to charge, still in the OtterBox defender case. No one used or touched it. The next morning we noticed a hairline crack in the screen. Due to busy schedules and all of the panic happening lately, she was unable to immediately take it back and the crack seemed to worsen. When she took it back today, she was told by the owner's brother, that she did not meet the "conditions of the warranty" because there were "no pieces or chunks of glass missing" yet the conditions of the warranty were never specified, as to what was and was not included. How convenient that she did not meet these unstated "conditions." In addition, the receipt states that the purchaser agrees "to the terms and conditions of Smart Cell Repair, LLC Manufacturer Warranty" of which were also never provided. I guess this is the loophole they utilize in order to appear to be an ethical business and warranty their repairs and materials. When that is not the case. In actuality, they are more than happy to correct the problem, as long as you are willing to hand over more cash.

We spoke on the phone, and that same day he spent an hour with me looking at my Dell and discussing exactly what I needed and wanted. I left my laptop overnight and he worked his magic! The next day he came to my home & we spent another hour reviewing the changes. That's quite a lot of time and his price for service was outstanding. Now the my laptop is as good as or better than anything I was planning to purchase at Amazon's much touted sale. My sweet Dell just needed an adjustment or 2 or 3. Went on Google to get # for GeekSquad & saw HelloTech ad. After a quick convo with a friendly Staffer I had appointment set. Was most impressed with business plan-our price is $99 IF we fix it ALL.. If we can't it's free. That was very appealing. Tech Roy confirmed he was en route & arrived right on time. It took a while to get these 3 pieces of equipment to speak to each other & work together productively but after about 30 minutes VOILA! Once basic services were restored Roy went thru everything & optimized other operations. He asked if we understood everything & if there was anything else we'd like him to look at, but we were in shock he was so helpful & nice. The entire time he worked he kept us chuckling talking about old movies we'd enjoyed & such.. It was the most fun repair appointment ever & it was well worth the fee. Knowing I was on a tight schedule, I called the store the day before to confirm my order would be ready and again first thing in the morning before heading out, just to be sure. On my second call, the person said they didn't my order. Didn't ask for a number, just "it's not here, we don't have it." After providing my order number and confirmation, they finally located it and assured me it was ready. However, when I arrived, the employee couldn't find my prints--because they hadn't even been printed. To make matters worse, she gave me attitude about the entire situation. I won't be returning to this store--or any Staples--because I've had far better experiences with printing at Office Depot.
