I brought a phone with a cracked screen a few days ago. Unlocked the phone for the employee to determine what type of phone and part to order. They ordered the part, required a $20 deposit. Fair. Two days later, part arrives, wrong part. Collected the phone, gave them another chance to get it right. They ordered the part. dropped off the phone a second time. Wrong part again. Asked if they had ordered the correct part, and since they had not, I asked for a refund of the $20. They refused. The employee was respectful and apologetic but could not make an exception to their policy and added that they normally charge an $80 service fee. Don't work with this company unless you want to roll the dice on wasting 4 days waiting on incorrect parts. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would have! I had used Cellaris at the Ormond Beach Walmart in the past for an iPad Pro 12.9" Screen replacement and had no issues. They did a great job on the iPad. Since I had a good experience in the past, on April 1st I tool my MacBook Pro (M1) for a screen replacement as the original screen went dark. I took the MacBook over to Cellairis Ormond Beach on April 1st and they quoted me $431.00 including State Tax for the replacement. Since they were opening up the computer I decided to have the 6 years old battery replaced as well for an additional $141.65 which included State tax. So I am in this repair for a total of just under $600.00. They said it would take about a week. It took three weeks and several calls. When I received the computer back all seemed to work well except the screen was very dim and never bright like a new screen should have been but the battery seemed to last so I assume that was new. After less than 3 months the computer screen went blank again and took it back. i was told that there was a 30 day warrantee but they would send it out to get it looked at and stated it would be 3 or 4 days to diagnose the problem and see what wrong with it. That was 30 days ago and this past week after numerous calls was told the screen would need to be replaced and that it would be another $400.00. I am livid! the rep told me they would give ma a discount; how much $50.00! Then said how about $100.00? I told her I wanted my computer back and she continued to try and convince me to get the new screen. She said that the original person that worked on it was no longer with the company! Really? That was last week. Yesterday I did a "Find My" and noted it was at a Walmart Cellairis store in Alabama! Obviously it was turned on because it was pinging my Apple Find My on iCloud. Frankly I was duped. I believe this company uses referbished screens or screens from old computers. This screen was obviously defected because it would never gat bright enough to work. No refunds, no screen replacement and a lost brand new battery. I am on Social Security and cannot afford a not MacBook nor can I afford to buy another screen. So I have nothing please have to pay off an almost $600. credit card bill. BUYER BEWARE. Go to Apple for screen replacement. read more

However, Tuesday (October 7th) came and I still hadn't received any update, so I called around 2:30 PM. Chad answered and initially told me there was no iPad matching my model in the store. Naturally, I became very concerned that my device had been misplaced or worse. After asking him to double-check, he admitted he had found it "hidden between drawers." He then told me he would need to overnight the parts to repair it which completely contradicted what I was told when I dropped it off. When I expressed my frustration, he repeatedly interrupted me and, despite apologizing, spoke to me in a condescending tone. He even said, "I'm going to break things down for you real slow so you can understand what I'm telling you here." As someone with a Master's degree, I found this extremely disrespectful and unnecessary , especially since my frustration was about the lack of communication, not confusion about the process. I told him I was not willing to wait another day and went to pick up my iPad, which was still shattered. The entire experience felt unprofessional and dismissive. I immediately went to IFIXandRepair, where the staff was courteous and began working on my device right away, and it should be done within a day. I rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience so others can avoid wasting their time and money. Lastly, I was told my iPad's password was required, which I found concerning since it shouldn't have been necessary for this type of repair. Given that he had my device for three days without even starting the work, I'm uneasy about the potential privacy implications as well.
