So I come here to fix my phone and he said it's gonna take three hours and he'll call us we show up after three hours and he's playing call of duty on his computer we can see him through the window and when we come in he immediately tabs out the browser and tells us that it's going to be another two hours for our phone fix and then he doesn't even fucking fix it. 80 bucks, the phone is gone, and he won't refund me because of "labor" yet he told me it was 80 for the water damage service. I have used this business for repairing several of our family phones with no major issues. Today they got a little dishonest. Had a broken screen on an iPhone 8plus. Handed it to a what appeared to be a 13 to 14 year old boy. He stated that it was an 8plus and said the screen would be 99.00. That's ok. Upon return, I was charged 109.00 because the is it 8plus. Excuse me! You said this was an 8plus and the screen would be 99.00 dollars. The boy said screens for 8pluses are 109.00 dollars. I said to the boy, you held my phone in your hands, stated it was an 8plus and gave me a price. I told them that they are baiting and switching. They do decent work but the honesty needs a bit of work. Be careful. Update: the young man called this morning and did a very mature thing. He said he had made a mistake and "it was all on me...". They offered a refund of the difference which I accepted and several other free items which I did not accept. This business stood my its word. read more

Terrible customer service. I paid $150 to have my charging port repaired. The poster on the wall clearly states they have a 60 day warranty, about 14 days after the initial repair it stopped working so I brought it back they said they couldn't fix it since I left the store with it working even though it was still under warranty. This's become where I take my electronic problems. The owner operator is very active in the business and actually does a hefty amount of the work. I've brought 6+ different iphones in for screen repairs that I shouldn't have purchased and don't recommend purchasing because apple is total crap. But this place does great work on them. They generally don't take very long at all unless they're really busy. I've even brought in my ipad for screen repair and tv remote control before for repair. They recently replaced my phones battery also. I definitely recommend this business. read more

Pretty fast and they do a good job. I've used them repairing various items other than just my shoddy iphones that are so total crap they should literally be free from the crapple store. I went to Tech Savy to have my cracked screen repaired. Only to get it back and one week later the sensor on my screen stopped functioning completely. I don't even want to deal with the hassle of returning to get him to take a look at it. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere. This repair man is not worth the money you save. read more

As with any small business, nothing is perfect. Tim cannot be held to the same standards as Apple, so in reading the other reviews, people need to become better informed of what they're looking for, versus what they're spending. Below are the reasons why Tech Savvy has earned my business for life. 1. Tim is a Texan. I'll leave it at that's more than can be said for most tech repair shops. 2. Tim will take the time to explain anything to anyone, and as the owner of the business, that means something. I smashed the screen on my 2nd gen iPad Pro 12.9" and had an iPhone X I was shopping around for the repair on. I took them to him and asked how much, WHAT KIND OF PARTS HE WOULD BE USING FOR REPLACEMENT, and what his warranty was. The cost wasn't much less than Apple. But, here's why I went with Tim for the iPhone X and the iPad. He explains the difference in quality in materials to people when they sign up. (OLED vs LED vs LCD and quality of mfg). Some quick googling tells you what you should be looking for in regards to quality. Trying to cut costs down for his customers burned Tim early in this business, so he does not purchase anything except the highest quality, non-OEM, parts available. They are more expensive for obvious reasons. The biggest reason why I go with Tim? He gives a lifetime warranty on the parts he uses and his work. Not even Apple does that. So here's the real kicker. 5 minutes before I was set to make a presentation in Las Vegas last week, the home button on my iPad from which I was to present quit working. I know about assistive touch though, so was able to "make it work." Yesterday, the backlight in the screen went out so the iPad is currently unusable. Guess what, instead of writing a negative review, I am writing a 5 star review because of the confidence I have that Tim will do the right thing. I got online to check the hours to go up there, and saw a negative review from an uninformed consumer and decided to set the record straight for Tim. It's not fair to him that someone would try to tarnish his good reputation for their lack of understanding. All said, Tech Savvy is a top-tier mobile electronics repair shop that uses the highest quality products and provides the highest possible quality of service to all of its clients. read more

Horrible service, was in the store and witnessed the owner become irate and extremely disrespectful to a female customer. Customer was asking to have her iPad looked at (which he previously serviced and failed to fix) owner refused even though it was within his allotted warranty time. The owner was really cool to talk to, but you could just tell this man was a cheapskate. He will give you the absolute minimum effort/dollar if you were to get something replaced. Very good with words and good at selling you more than you need. He fixed my iPhone 6s, but did a sub-par job at it. I paid about the same price if Apple would've done it. My screen didn't seem like it was the original, was poorly done, and honestly just didn't seem like a reliable, honest guy. I don't recommend getting anything fixed by them. Just pay the extra dollar and get it done perfect by a tier one store. read more
