Nice big screen to see what they offer on the menu. During the week days they have taco, burrito and bowl specials. They have a large seating area after you order. If you have take out to wait for your food at counter. If you have dine in they will bring to your table. Not too sure about cross contamination due to the food being set up like chipotle and subway. So I guess there is some with the toppings. The one o would be worried about is seafood allergy. I was not able to get a picture but you might want to make sure they done fry fish and shrimp in the same basket as fries and taquitos. Co-worker ordered nachos and one got enchiladas. Both of them had elements that were microwaved to make warm. The nachos were microwaved to melt the cheese and the enchiladas the green sauce was placed in a plastic bowl microwaved then poured over enchiladas. I don't like when places have to use microwaves but they have 3 of them I say. I had the taquitos. I must admit, the flavor was good. Fried just right. Not a fan of green salsa so an option would have been nice. They only brought green out with my dinner.

What a cute place to find in the sleepy Saturday night town of Payette!…read more Downtown Payette is what Caldwell once looked like before investors went in and built more businesses. The streets are dark and very few places are open and that makes me sad because this could be such an adorable old town downtown vibe for locals! So don't miss this restaurant towards the end of Main Street and then hop across the street to Hammer Time for family fun with axe throwing! El Kamaron has done a great job with their interior decor, seating layout, has a full bar, and an extensive menu that includes quite a bit of seafood options! It's the Torres Mariscos that sold me on trying this place and it didn't disappoint! This is a menu item that you'd see regularly in a beach town in Mexico like in Nayarit, MX! It was loaded with shrimp, octopus, and crab. I was so excited to just eat the meats that I didn't even want crackers or chips. Just let me feast on the meats with the avocado, cucumber, onion and tomato and I'm in heaven! I'll be back for this item alone! I also ordered a holiday specialty drink called the cranberry Paloma and I loved it. It was beautifully presented with a dehydrated orange slice and floating cranberries with a Chamoy and Tajin rim. I tossed my straw to the side so I could enjoy each sip with the rim! The staff ate so lovely and friendly with smiles and always ask how you're doing and if you need anything! You order at the table but pay at the bar counter closest to the door. There were two birthday celebrations going on and each birthday baby (adults in their 60's) received a cute colorful shot in a champagne flute and the entire restaurant sang to them. It was an enjoyable experience!

Food is ordered at the counter and they deliver it to the table. I ordered the three carne asada enchilada plate which came with beans and rice. The beans were nice and loose to mix with the rice. Good flavor and plenty of sauce and cheese in the enchiladas. Taste of the meat was on point. They had green and red homemade sauces, nice flavors, the red was not real hot. The squeeze had the three taco plate, which of course had the beans and rice. She chose the carne asada as well. We swapped a taco and enchilada. The tortillas got a little stiff on the last taco, almost became a tostada. There is a soda fountain for self help drinks. Service was good, very attentive. It was certainly a good lunch. I really can't say it was better than other places I have eaten. The single bathroom needs help, kind of dirty but didn't smell. Maybe a cheap makeover with some fresh paint.

The brisket was tender and flavorful, the pulled pork was excellent, the ribs were great, and the smoked sausage was awesome. We also tried several sides: Bacon Mac & Cheese, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and mashed sweet potatoes, and everything was excellent. The Texas toast was good, too. The pudding was a nice little treat to finish things off. Overall, an excellent stop for some great BBQ. Definitely glad we came back!

Even though the ambiance kind of reminded me of a gas station restaurant. I finally settled on the two meat plate which had half a slab of ribs and smoked pork sausage which I was told was smoked right there at the restaurant. I placed my order which came with a 20oz drink, a dessert "banana" pudding, and barbecue beans. The ribs were okay super tender and falling off the bone but the flavor was lacking. I really appreciated all the different types and flavors of sauce but that couldn't save the ribs. As a person who grew up eating my mother's homemade banana pudding, I couldn't even try to eat what they were calling "banana" pudding. The barbecue beans had too many beans in it and no meat, for some reason I thought there would be meat in the barbecue beans. All this to say, I was underwhelmed by every part of this experience besides the customer service. I even asked a guy who was throwing away his empty food tray "how was it?" His reply was excellent? Maybe in Idaho? After all "good" and "bad" is relative. I don't think I need to have this experience again.
