Ended up at K-Town KBBQ & Hot Pot after making a trip to pick up the SO from a car show in…read moreStockton, ironic I know. The car show happened to take place in the same parking lot as K-Town, so we just decided to have dinner here instead of sitting in the drive-thru line at In-N-Out. The inside is modernly lit with lots of wood motif and black. Oversized lightbulbs filled with faux flower petals hang from the ceiling. A random cartoon plays on the wall TV. For a weekday dinner bbq, we paid about $37 per person with no additional hot pot add-on. We got a good spread of drinks (they have boba!), but they are also an additional cost. The AYCE includes access to the buffet area, which has sushi (sashimi!), buffalo wings, seafood boil, a bunch of fried/breaded offerings, and all the sauces/accoutrements for both hotpot and kbbq. I was impressed by the short rib marinade here. The beef was meaty with a good texture. Some of the cubed meats were a little tough but could be due to the way we cooked it. The pork belly was sliced too thin for my liking (too bacony). We got the cheese sticks from the buffet and reheated them over the grill and made our own version of a Chili's Triple Dipper. Service was fine. We placed our orders with a guy and he would come around occasionally for a grill change and taking away plates. Between the two KBBQ AYCE I've been to in Stockton recently, I think K-Town wins. Overall, I came out stuffed and would definitely return.

We got there at 530pm and it hadn't gotten too busy at that point. Greeted and seated immediately. We usually don't do the hot pot side (we will try it some day) but the variety of meats were exactly what we normally order. We usually only do beef, but they have seafood, chicken and pork too. The salad and hot bar had quite a few options, and again I always defer to my favorites. Kim Chi, Pickled Daikon, etc etc. you'll have to check it out. Pretty big restaurant, feels spacious, and you're not right on top of your neighbor. We love that we can stay local and not have to travel to Elk Grove/Stockton Our server was friendly and attentive. Be back again soon

Stepping into JAGALCHI market is like embarking on a mini-vacation! From the moment I walked in, I…read morewas struck by how incredibly clean and organized everything is. It's a feast for the senses--each corner reveals something new and exciting. The pricing is so affordable, especially for the high-quality items they offer. The bakery? Absolutely insane! Each pastry looks like it was crafted by a master. And don't even get me started on the seafood selection; it's out of this world. Whether you're looking for fresh catches or prepared meals, you're bound to find something that tickles your taste buds. Most of the employees were incredibly friendly and helpful. I give that a nine out of 10. I felt like I was on a whirlwind shopping excursion, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere and discovering treasures at every turn. I can't wait to get back home to Southern California with all my goodies! If you're looking for an unforgettable experience, JAGALCHI market is the place to be. You won't regret it!

As a Korean supermarket, this place has pretty much everything you could want, from fresh produce to hard to find Korean seasonings and ingredients. Couldn't ask for more! They also have a huge selection of prepared hot food. While you can definitely get better Korean food at a dedicated restaurant, I was still impressed by the sheer variety and convenience. I live pretty far away, so I probably wouldn't make a special trip just for Jalgachi, but I'd absolutely stop by whenever I'm in the area. And maybe next time I'll finally try the restaurant!

We arrived at 7:40 PM, and the manager, Joseph, told us the restaurant would close in 10 minutes. I said that's OK. We'll order the food and eat as much as we can there until we have to leave, and then we will leave by the time we are asked to leave. My boyfriend, Jeff, thought the restaurant was open until 8 PM, so he checked the website. It said the location was open till 8 PM, so he walked outside to check the time on the door, and it read 8 PM. There were no other signs that said they were closing at 7:50 PM. Jeff called somebody to complain about the time discrepancy while we were waiting for our order to arrive. When our order arrived, Kira brought our food to the table in a really cute to-go bag, and I like that she listened to us that we would eat as much food as we could while we were at the restaurant and then take the rest to eat at home when it came closer to 8 PM. Our food was ready pretty quickly; we had plenty of time to finish our food before 8 PM. However, I think Jeff just wanted the manager to be upfront with him and say that the store was closing at 8 PM, so it's better to take your food to go or something like that, not make up an arbitrary time to say what time the restaurant was closed. I'm rating this Koja kitchen location four stars mainly because of the outstanding customer service provided by Kira. She was incredibly friendly and approachable, making the experience very pleasant. I wish more customer service representatives could be as kind and easy to talk to as she is.
