Pico salsa, tortillas, canned jalapeños and limes

What began as a Korean BBQ is now a Korean/Mexican fusion BBQ and Sushi...I have no problem with any of these meals. But it's disappointing to pay for a KBBQ experience and find out that a majority of the self serve has been replaced with Mexican cuisine. Our most recent visit saw open faced buffet trays containing canned nacho cheese sauce/tortilla chips/pico de gallo/cold tortillas/limes/canned jalapeños/chicharrones...and miso soup is now bean soup. We've been coming since opening month. At the beginning, they were on the mark! Amazing quality, selection, service, you name it. We brought friends and family here instead of driving out of town for other chains. But then they began changing the menu, messing with the prices, and abandoning quality checks. 1.) They took away the made-to-order appetizers. 2.) They added a sushi bar, and I'm lead to believe it's unpopular because every time we leave, we see the same dried out pieces from when we first arrived 3.) Prices fluctuate across every visit and the menu items that come with each tier, are adjusted. Once upon a time, I would've been happy to pay higher prices, had they just left things alone and stayed true. Now, every visit entails something new, from menu items to prices. Dining out is too expensive to jerk customers around, at $35/person (not including premium meat tiers/premium appetizers/drinks/tips/etc.) We will not be coming back. *the staff are courteous and we have never had any issue with them. It's the business practice that I fault*

I used to like this place however the beef belly slices had gotten thicker. Before, it was a thin slice like Oz's woobaesal. I usually request to have sliced thinner but they're just very inconsistent. I still love their japchae, spicy cold noodle, side soup and side dishes though. I wish they have seafood pancake / pajeons.

Dirty. This resturant is very dirty. The walls need to be cleaned. Food was just ok. Not my favorite. I probably won't be back.

Tonight was my first time back since they've introduced sushi to their menu. A weekday dinner is $33.9x and that's their standard meal plan that's supposed to include sushi. I was actually so excited to visit again because their last few recent posts on ig show nigiri. So it was fair to assume nigiri would be present. I was so disappointed to see they only offered 4 rolls, 3 of which did not have any raw fish on top. As for the bbq, the meats were mid/okay. There was no particular cut that stood out for flavor nor tenderness - not even the beef belly, unfortunately. But I digress. Anyways, if you want to stay in town - I think this place will satisfy your kbbq cravings.

The positive part of eating here is the rice is cooked perfect, and they do have a nice presentation. The quality, flavor, and cooking were all lackluster. My family ordered the spicy pork and it was truly flavorless. I had the beef bulgogi and it was also flavorless. The cooking was almost like boiled meat. Sauces and sides were all lacking in flavor and nothing seemed fresh. Honestly, won't return. I think for $20/plate it falls very short of expectations.

Cool Korean BBQ spot in town, clean and nicely set up inside. Features all you can eat bbq as well as a buffet set up with some appetizers and side dishes. The meat quality was ok and the marinade meats were very flavorful. The steak and brisket were really chewy but they have plenty of other options. The sushi was good and even had some fried food appetizers like gyozas and egg rolls. The little robots that bring everything are always cool and the servers were very attentive for anything else you need.

We arrived on 3/28/25 Friday for dinner! The establishment is wide. Nice decorations. Atmosphere good. Our Server was friendly and smiled. Food was delicious.

This is where you should spend your cheat day. Period. On god. No fax. Lol Jokes aside, highly recommend the place for AYCE. Pork bulgogi is fire and all the other meat is good too. Well prepared, SUPER FAST delivery to your table when you order it. It's got robots too delivering it to you. Soo coool. They also have a self service station for sauces that you want, rice, and fried chicken too (which you shouldn't fill up on lol-that's a trick to eat less of the meat fyi). Great place to eat and nice dimly lit ambience for dates, as well as big families. Great friendly staff, great parking, and great location right next to the highway so you can get back home after eating to fall into a nice food coma.

Out of the kbbq places, I usually end up going to yogi in stockton and it is really nice. Most recent time that I went I'm really sad they took out the cucumbers from the open food area. They have lots of options for sauces and selections there. The service is really fast as well. From meat arriving very quickly and requesting grill changes. During dinner time it's 28 dollars per person which is really nice and affordable. My go to is the miso chicken! Really nice place to go if you are going for group lunch or dinner and super hungry.

Imagine coming here for date night and this is your view.

Been here a few times. Once before the restructure and 3 times after. The food was okay but recently service and food quality has dropped. They have a new salad bar and sushi bar but they have an employee just watching waiting for you to do something wrong to correct you. The way I look at it if you see someone doing something wrong just help out instead. Last week I was there with my family (party of 7 three kids under 10) the food was good but the service was not. They forgot our drinks and we had to remind them. They kept reusing our cups for sake bombs. Then during a grill change the waitress was careless and dropped all the hot grease on my wife's sweater. Lucky she was not burned but the sweater was ruined. We just got an "oops they always tell me to slowdown sorry" no compensation or anything. Yesterday it was just my wife and I we got seated all the way in the back. We ordered our food and it took super long for the meat to get to us. When it finally arrived it was incomplete we had to wait for the waitress to bring us our food. We ordered drinks and after a while of not getting them the waitress came over to tell us they where out of sake. She told me we could substitute it for soju but that was an extra charge. The meat this time had a weird chemical taste to it. We ordered brisket and they brought something else. Overall service is slow. The salad bar items are very hit or miss. The fries are always cold so is most of their hot salad bar items. If you asked me a few months ago I would have recommended this place. Today I'd tell you to take your money elsewhere. One last thing. I wish the tables where a little more conversation/date night friendly.

When we first got there, there was an issue with payment (something about possibly not being able to take card). We had to wait until the manager came in, which was almost 12p (arrived at 11:30a). Luckily, they fixed the issue. I like how they had a buffet of sides and a lot of choices for food, however, I didn't like the taste of some of the meats (bland). The staff was courteous and polite and the restaurant was clean.

Dang haven't been here in awhile ... quality of meat has gone down so much :/ sushi was horrible tasting it tastes old / sour only thing I enjoyed was the spicy cold noodles , japche and the robot

The car show happened to take place in the same parking lot as K-Town, so we just decided to have dinner here instead of sitting in the drive-thru line at In-N-Out. The inside is modernly lit with lots of wood motif and black. Oversized lightbulbs filled with faux flower petals hang from the ceiling. A random cartoon plays on the wall TV. For a weekday dinner bbq, we paid about $37 per person with no additional hot pot add-on. We got a good spread of drinks (they have boba!), but they are also an additional cost. The AYCE includes access to the buffet area, which has sushi (sashimi!), buffalo wings, seafood boil, a bunch of fried/breaded offerings, and all the sauces/accoutrements for both hotpot and kbbq. I was impressed by the short rib marinade here. The beef was meaty with a good texture. Some of the cubed meats were a little tough but could be due to the way we cooked it. The pork belly was sliced too thin for my liking (too bacony). We got the cheese sticks from the buffet and reheated them over the grill and made our own version of a Chili's Triple Dipper. Service was fine. We placed our orders with a guy and he would come around occasionally for a grill change and taking away plates. Between the two KBBQ AYCE I've been to in Stockton recently, I think K-Town wins. Overall, I came out stuffed and would definitely return.

We got there at 530pm and it hadn't gotten too busy at that point. Greeted and seated immediately. We usually don't do the hot pot side (we will try it some day) but the variety of meats were exactly what we normally order. We usually only do beef, but they have seafood, chicken and pork too. The salad and hot bar had quite a few options, and again I always defer to my favorites. Kim Chi, Pickled Daikon, etc etc. you'll have to check it out. Pretty big restaurant, feels spacious, and you're not right on top of your neighbor. We love that we can stay local and not have to travel to Elk Grove/Stockton Our server was friendly and attentive.
