Located on the 2nd floor of the Hyatt Regency, I found this restaurant had plenty to offer. Breakfast delivered choices of either individual meals or their amazing buffet. Fresh fruit in season, yogurts with plenty of toppings, oatmeal with the same, eggs scrambled, lots of meat sausages, a variety of potato choices and then a superb omelet station. A full bagel and cereal station along with pastries and additional fresh fruit made this the perfect choice for me. When the regular prices were just a few dollars less the buffet seemed the obvious choices especially when it came with fresh juices. The service staff were very helpful, kept my beverages filled, and were attentive. I'd give them a high five if I could.

Centennial restaurant is conveniently located inside the Hyatt Regency Dallas. Quick bite during our conference with good drinks and decent food but minimal gluten free options.

I came here with a group for a work lunch. It was a great place to meet up! The staff was friendly and timely, and the food was very good!

*****2.5 stars***** Came here to grab lunch really quick while taking a break from the conference I was attending. They offered a buffet during lunch, but I opted to order off of the menu. The turkey club had to be one of the saddest looking sandwiches I've ordered in a long time especially for the price. Looks like something I could have made at home. Actually I probably would have made something better at home. Sadly the sandwich reminded me of a school lunch. My meal came out within minutes of ordering. After all it only had a few slices of turkey and two pieces of bacon, making the sandwich pretty puny. The side of fruit ordered was satisfying, though. Service was fine, which is why I decided to round up to three stars. I think he understood I was on a time crunch, so was pretty attentive. The view of the restaurant is nice as it is in an open atrium setting. If you have the time, I'd check out other restaurants in the area for lunch. If not, try the buffet or skip the turkey club.

I didn't expect to like this place much since well, it's a hotel restaurant but after working for hours at this point and it was rainy, I didn't want to leave the hotel to go get food for a late lunch. My friend and I came here for a late lunch and it worked out for us since we were told it was a flash flood outside a few minutes later. Our waitress was really sweet and personable. She was helpful on suggesting what to get and a lot of the stuff I saw on the menu, were what we had at Monduel's the night before. That's ok though. My friend got the southern smoked burger and I got the chopped chicken sandwich, which had chipotle mayonnaise on it, perfect little kick to the sandwich. I also got a focus smoothie, which was blackberries, bananas and almond milk. It was a nice combination to my lunch and acted like a dessert as well. The food came out rather fast and we got to talking to the waitress for a bit. English is not her first language but she was doing awesome and apologized, when she didn't have to. I love friendly people in general. Overall, a great experience.

Breakfast buffet tasted absolutely delicious. I had the egg white omelette and the chef prepared it to my liking. The waiters were very attentive as well. The buffet selection was outstanding, they had everything from oatmeal to chicken sausages.

New Year's Day Brunch buffet - lots to choose from including an omelette bar, a pancake bar, a prime rib carving station, pastries, muffins, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, breads, oatmeal and a couple of casserole dishes. Most everything was good, but I have to say the prime rib and au jus for breakfast was amazing! I'm not sure I have had that option on a hotel buffet before, but it was absolutely delicious and really satisfied the meat craving following a night of fun on New Years Eve. The service was good, very friendly staff. Noise level was pretty loud, but there were a ton of Stars fans in for the game, so it was to be expected. The cost was pretty pricey ($34/pp), but with all of the choices they had to offer, the fact that it was all you can eat, and the quality of the food considered, it seemed to be a fairly reasonable price for not having to leave the hotel to seek out food. Much nicer than other locations we have stayed at..

Finally a decent restaurant that is inside of a hotel! Centennial Café is located inside the Hyatt Regency Dallas and I was able to try them out for breakfast. Depending on your level of membership with the World of Hyatt program you may receive vouchers to be able to eat here complimentary. The scenery while eating is actually pretty cool because they have nice water fountains and the open concept of the 2nd floor was just cool. I stayed 4 days and decided on my last day to give them a try. Normally the hotel chain places don't always have the best breakfast because it is super generic. That wasn't the case here at all because I was able to actually order off the regular menu and not the cheesy buffet they usually like to pawn off on people. I called downstairs for a pick up order just because my friends and I were too hung over to want to sit and actually dine in with them. The girls who were working the hostess desk were super friendly and courteous. My order was completed in the allotted timeframe that was quoted over the phone so of course I was happy about that. My next trip to Dallas I will be staying with Hyatt again and hope I get up in time enough for breakfast so I may try more items on the menu here.

    Great selection of seasonal fruit!

Pretty low quality given the prices. It wasn't terrible, but nothing to go out of your way for. Also there was a bone in my fish taco.

Cafe Duro is a must when visiting the Lower Greenville area!…read more I recently visited this amazing European-style café during breakfast on a weekday and it was amazing. Please note that parking in this area is particularly difficult but if you come in the morning, it should be easier to find. Another thing worth nothing is that they are more of a quick standing coffee bar type of place and I definitely wouldn't recommend it for families or kids, so keep that in mind when visiting. Now to the food... They have a small but mighty menu for breakfast and lunch. For my first time I decided to try their The Monte Duro, which is a pastry style "hot pocket" with smoked prosciutto, mortadella, mustard and jam. For drink I decided to go with their Dirty Chai Latte. The drink was absolutely perfection and exactly what I needed in a warm Texas morning. The Monte Duro was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor! Both my friend and I ordered the same thing and we were both obsessed with it.

Everyone in my group loved their drink orders and the breakfast sandwiches had a good depth of flavor thanks to the quality meat and delicious sauce! My only reason for not giving a 5 star is that there is no seating, so don't plan to enjoy your delicious treat there. You might have to take it to go. Can't wait to go back!
