Connecticut Lobster Roll Sandwich of the Month
    Keke K.

I came here craving a lobster roll and also tried the sandwich of the week (pulled pork) with sweet potato fries. The fries were great, crispy and flavorful. The Connecticut lobster roll was a disappointment! The lobster was cold, shredded and smothered in mayo, tasting more like a lobster salad than a proper roll. The bread was soft but yea that didn't save it. The pulled pork sandwich, on the other hand, was excellent! I've pulled pork at lot of authentic bbq places and this would give a great competition! The meat was tender, juicy and full of flavor. The place is busy but has plenty of seating inside and a couple of tables outside. Next time, I'll skip the lobster roll and stick to their sandwiches and wraps.

10/10 I would be back tomorrow if I could! We were in town visiting and this place was awesome! The staff was so nice, very accommodating to our order of splitting a wrap. Plenty of sitting both indoor and outdoor. I would say it's more of an upscale to go place but they had so many good wraps to choose from. The wrap we got was absolutely amazing, tender was cooked perfectly and full of flavor and the sweet potato fries were perfection! We will definitely be back!!

The place looked good from the outside. Looks good on the inside. We thought the food would be promising. The food was OK. No real complaints, was not a fan of the french fries or the potato salad. The sandwiches themselves were OK, I wouldn't put them on the great list where I need to come back a second time. Overall, air-conditioning worked chairs were comfortable and we left full.

I was really looking forward to coming here. I ordered the Uncle Paulies chicken parm sandwich and didn't love it. The chicken was not the right size for the bread and the bread was not the most flavorful. Both of these factors made the sandwich a not great meal for the price. I would consider coming back and trying something different but overall was let down by my experience.

In Dallas for a company event and the concierge suggested going across to the other side of the plaza for a quick bite for lunch. This complex is rather large, so I inquired with the building lobby representative for his recommendation on a good sandwich shop. He sent me on to East Hampton Sandwich Shop. You order at the counter, seat yourself, they bring out the food. The young lady at the counter was very pleasant, and friendly. I ordered the Unlcle Paulie's sandwich, opted for grilled chicken and sourdough bread. Food quality was good, but being hete in Texas, I thought with everything being larger than life, the portion size would have been larger. The fresh brewed unsweetened black tea was very good. Nice sandwich shop. Not a large selection.

Got the hot lobster roll and sweet potato fries. Services is fast but the tables are dirty. The seating options are limited because there were empty dirty tables. Food was delicious though, should've gotten it to go.

Service 10/10, atmosphere 10/10, food? I could cry it's so perfect. It's balanced (turkey bacon avocado) it's fresh, it's beautiful and so so tasty. The ranch is amazing. I've tried the chicken jack but Turkey bacon is my favorite.

Did a pick up order because of this wintery weather. We got the Connecticut lobster roll and it was delicious. real lobster, the way it should be. We also ordered the green goddess wrap, they did a good job with the mods (no cheese, no bacon, no mayo) but it was severely lacking in turkey. Based on the pictures on their website when you order online the green goddess wrap should have been stuffed! That is my biggest complaint when it's a $14 sandwich! All in all it was good and I would give this place another shot

We found quite a gem near the highland Park area of Dallas! If you like lobster, you should absolutely give this lobster roll a try. It's incredible. The bread is made fresh daily and it was grilled to perfection. The ranch chips are crispy and delightful. The ranch seasoning was a nice touch. The shoestring sweet potato fries looked delicious but haven't tried them yet. When you are eating inside, it feels like you might actually be in the Hamptons. Order at the counter and self serve fountain drinks. They give you a number and bring your food. There wasn't a wait to order and the food came out pretty quickly.

Yum sandwiches and wraps! The aesthetic isn't anything crazy and it can get a little loud but the people who work here are some of the sweetest. They have a great memory and never fail to recognize me or say hello. Things like this are what make a sandwich shop stand out

Went with my friends after a long day and it was great. Service was fast, and the food was great! I got the Turkey Bacon Avocado on a low carb wrap with sweet potato fries. I will def get again!

I was in the mood for a sandwich and decided to visit East Hampton Sandwich Co on Oak Lawn Ave. It seems a bit hidden due to its location, but the place is wonderful. From the time you walk in you are greeted with a smile. It has a relaxing and casual atmosphere. The smell of bread is in the air. The bread is freshly made, and adds just the right amount of texture to whatever sandwich you decide to get. They are not shy about loading their sandwiches full of meat and veggies. You definitely get your monies worth! They have homemade chips which are a must try. Our food arrived promptly, and was brought to our table which we greatly appreciate. If you are in the area, and want an excellent sandwich, wrap or even salad topped with excellent service you must try East Hampton Sandwich Co.

There is a sentence on CBD Provisions' Instagram that I want to read to you because it is doing a…read morelot of work in very few words. "A brasserie in boots." That's it. That's the whole thing. French discipline, Texas spirit, six syllables, no further explanation offered or required, and if you do not immediately understand exactly what that means the moment you walk into The Joule on Main Street then I do not know what to tell you except that the rosemary tallow fries are going to clarify things very quickly. CBD Provisions opened in 2013 as the Joule Hotel's in-house restaurant, became famous for a crispy pig's head carnitas that required you to pull strips of meat off an actual half pig's head at the table and tuck them into tortillas, which is a dish so committed to its own bit that it belongs in a museum, and then closed in July 2025 for a months-long renovation that brought in new culinary director Sezer Deniz. Deniz trained under Chef Jean Paul Naquin at the Institut Paul Bocuse in Lyon, France. He has twenty-plus years in Michelin-starred kitchens including Alinea in Chicago. He is now making breakfast tacos inside a hotel in downtown Dallas and I want to be very clear that this is a promotion. The room has exposed brick and wood floors and steel beams and mosaic tile and antique mirrors and railcar booth seating and a center banquette and stone tabletops, all of which sounds like it should be competing with itself but instead produces the specific feeling of a place that has been here long enough to know what it is. I sat at the bar, which is the correct place to sit, and ordered the short rib corn cake stack, which is braised short rib and avocado and two poached eggs and a poblano hollandaise and which arrives looking like the cover of a cookbook that does not exist but absolutely should. The poblano hollandaise is the detail I keep returning to. Not regular hollandaise. Poblano hollandaise. Someone in that kitchen made a decision to take a classical French sauce with two centuries of culinary tradition behind it and introduce it to a pepper from Puebla, Mexico, and what resulted is something that makes you look at regular hollandaise and think, you had potential, you just never reached it. I ate the entire thing and then contemplated ordering another one and then did not because I am a person with limits, technically. The CBD Provisions burger is a double smash with American cheese and grilled onion and house pickles and something called fancy sauce, which is a name I respect enormously because it is not pretending to be anything other than exactly what it is. It comes with rosemary tallow fries, which are the reason I will order this burger every time I come here for the rest of my life. Rosemary. Tallow. Fries. Three words that in combination produce something that should be legally classified as a controlled substance. French in method, Texan in manner. Boots and a brasserie. The Joule has been on Main Street for years and CBD Provisions has been feeding people inside it for over a decade, new chef and new tile floors notwithstanding, and it has figured out the thing that most hotel restaurants never figure out, which is that the goal is not to remind you that you are eating in a hotel. The goal is to make you forget entirely. I forgot entirely. The tallow fries helped.
