I would not recommend this place. I gave my insurance information before my appointment and they never verified it. After my visit they told me I would have to pay out of pocket even though my insurance actually covered the services. I confirmed this myself with my provider afterward. There was also a lot of pressure to buy glasses and agree to extra services that felt unnecessary. The whole experience felt stressful and unprofessional. By Far the best experience at an optometrist Ever. From the front office staff, to the technologist to Kimberly Le... so fast so professional! State of the art technology that made my appt maybe 25 min all told. Gave me my prescriptions without even having to ask, since most places want to intimidate you into buying from them.Gotta admit I was a little nervous going in, as it had been years since going. I always like to make my first review of the year a positive one. With that said, I 10/10 recommend Dr. Martinez and his staff for your optometric needs. It had been over a decade since my last eye appointment and the glasses I had no longer sufficed. I also received a letter from my son's school stating that they performed an eye exam and that a visit to the optometrist was highly recommended. So with that, I knew it was time to schedule an appointment for myself, my 6 year old son and 4 year old daughter. The day of the visit went great. Dr. Martinez was awesome. He was so patient and thorough with my kids. They responded to him very well, which made everything so much easier for my stress level. With my appointment, we discussed my concerns over my vision and he answered all of my questions. Alas, my son needed glasses and so did I. This is where his great staff came into play. They assisted my son with picking out a pair he liked and of course, they were very patient with him as well. I was pretty easy and had my pair picked in about 2 minutes after browsing around. We went over insurance coverage and out-of-pocket costs. I felt that they had our bests interests at heart and weren't trying to upsell anything I didn't need. (I used to be a licensed optician in my past life, so I know the business.) All in all, 100% happy with everything. My son loves his glasses and he said he can "see bigger now." I'm still waiting on my pair to be finished, but I'm sure they'll be great too. read more

New to Vegas and wanted to see the eye glasses this store has. They would not let me look at the frames until I provided ID. Did not trust I would not steal a frame. Yes, that's what he said. Today's appointment at St. Rose Eye Care was fabulous. This business is always in pristine condition making it my preferred choice when I need an annual eye exam. I actually enjoy all the high-tech devices that they use to check my eye health - especially the headset that you wear and push the button when you see a dot flash in your peripheral. It was such a nuisance having other offices blow a puff of air into my eyes or dilate them with that nasty brown, sticky substance. Dr. Martinez is very friendly, knowledgeable, and easy on the eyes :) St. Rose Eye Care is definitely an asset to the Inspirada/West Henderson area. read more

Was visiting from out of town and I had some issues with my eyes that I wanted to get checked out. Dr. Martinez was able to squeeze me in for a same day appointment and even stayed after hours to address some of the questions I had. I had went here a year ago . She ha ask for previous glasses that I guess they wanted to go off of my new prescription was incorrect do not ask me how I have no clue my old prescription had worked better than the new. I called back for them to recheck my eyes 15 days later the receptionist said I had to repay $300 something dollars no I will never go back to add on my daughters prescription was incorrect as well. i don't officially reside in henderson, but frequent enough. i ripped my contacts on new years and needed to make my annual check up appointment anyways, so i scheduled an appointment at st. rose eye care. it was a quick and simple. they did a very good job of thoroughly explaining what insurance covered and what my out of pocket expenses would be. equipment is new and high tech. i was able to see images of my eyes i've never seen before, and dr martinez did a great job of explaining to me what everything meant and his recommendations to me. after the exam, i grabbed my sample contacts and happy i could see for the rest of my trip. left very impressed. i think ill be coming back for my next visit! read more

I called for a referral from Robert Griffith OD. He originally saw me in September 2022 for a routine eye exam -- He told me at that time I had cataracts (shock to me!), and should I decide to pursue cataract surgery (once I had weighted the pros and cons) to give his office a call for a referral for a cataract consultation. I waited until January 2023 to call back in. The receptionist at St Rose Vision was more than helpful. She addressed all my concerns, emailed and faxed all the info I needed and did so promptly. I was recommended Dr. Martinez by a friend and I couldn't be more thankful! I have always worn glasses/ contacts since I was young, had dry eyes, and a very high prescription. Other optometrists have always given me the same advice year after years when I have already told them what my issues were and that the same advice had been given to me with no difference. Additionally, since my prescription was so high, other optometrists have always tried to stray away from my eye issues rather than tackle them head on and I have always felt rushed at my appointments because they wanted me to be in and out. At my first appointment with Dr. Martinez, he was super helpful, listened to all my concerns, answered all my questions rather than brushing me off like other optometrists had in the past, and actually gave me helpful insight and explanations as to why my eyes were the way they were. Lastly, due to my high prescription, he took the time out of his busy schedule to do some research, and was the first optometrist that told me that I qualified for medically necessary contact lenses which would be covered by my insurance! From the front of the house to the back, this practice is the best I have been to yet. I was able to schedule an appointment under 2 minutes and was seen within 5 days. The office is tech savvy and Dr. Martinez went above and beyond patiently answering questions and even doing research in regards to my question on dietary changes that may help with my condition.
