Liang, There were two ways in surgery: 1.I do not need to pay by myself, so I can see near or far can by sight, and I need to wear glasses in the future after the surgery. 2.The 2nd option, it requires my own payments of $ 3,400, I can see far away and can be seen near, I do not need to wear glasses. to see the computer in the future after the surgery. I was referred by my insurance to Center for Sight for evaluation regarding cataract surgery. I went to the Craig location. All of the staff were professional and friendly. Dr. Liang is amazing. I was somewhat nervous about having eye surgery, but the staff at the surgery center made me feel calm and comfortable. I had worn glasses since age 9, and contact lenses since age 18 (I am in my 70's now). What an amazing feeling to wake up in the morning, and be able to see the alarm clock without reaching for a pair of glasses. The entire experience went flawlessly, and I am so appreciative of the excellent care that I received from Center for Sight, Dr. Liang and her wonderful staff. For those of you, who are worried about CORONA read this. I went to this location on Craig road at the time of the height of the Coronavirus (April 9th, 2020) outbreak for an emergency visit. Normally under the circumstances, I would have opted for any time after the outbreak if I felt my visit could wait. So, I was told on the main Center for Sight hotline that I should bring a mask and that everyone at that location would be wearing one also. Upon my arrival, I was the only one wearing a mask, out of about 10-15 employees and all of the other patients in the waiting room. Only one medical assistant was wearing one mask herself and that's it and that was in the back office! There was no hand sanitizer anywhere for patients. I was told as soon as I sat down in the waiting room to remove my mask! Because they had to check my temperature with a plastic sleeved thermometer under my tongue. I complied and removed my mask and the woman who was working the front desk took my temperature while standing right in front of me holding the thermometer with no gloves and no mask. Then in the backroom for my exam, the woman who did my preliminary exam tells me to cover my eyes one at a time with my unsanitized hands, right after I did as I was instructed only then did I realize that's not very sanitary without hand sanitizer seeing as I just touched the chair, door handles and everything else! Ugh. Everyone was nice but I'm just really concerned with the risk to myself and their lack of concern about possibly spreading illness to their patients considering how bad Coronavirus seems to be right now. read more

Dr Liang performed cataract surgery with IOL implant on me in February 2014. The day after my surgical procedure I complained to Dr Hart that I was seeing a dark elliptical shadow in my vision. I was told to not worry that it would probably go away in time. I went back several times over the following 8 months and saw Dr Hart, APRN Gerry Reyrao, Dr Ruben Salinas Garcia at their Craig Road office. Each time I complained about the shadow in my vision on the surgery eye and FINALLY after 8 months I reconnected with Dr Liang. She informed me that this problem was fairly common in the procedure I had and her patients just learned to live with it. She said "THERE WAS NOTHING MORE SHE COULD DO FOR ME". I began to research this issue online and found that the probable cause of my impairment was a lens improperly placed and/or a lens too small for the pupil. A corrective procedure was available by removing the problematic lens and replacing it in the proper location BUT this procedure should have been done within 90 days of the first surgery for the best results. I reached out to the senior surgeon at Shepherd Eye Center, Dr Hansen who took the time to carefully research my vision impairment and evaluate my case completely. He performed a surgery to replace the problematic lens in March 2015 and I have no more issues with the elliptical shadow. BEWARE OF DR. i couldn't be happier! just had last exam after cataract surgery on second eye. have not seen this well in 65 years (worn glasses since i was 8). no correction necessary now, 20/20 vision. Dr. Liang did a fantastic job. no pain or problems after either procedure. The office staff at craig office is very friendly and accomodating. i was seen before scheduled time on each visit even on surgery days. The last time, i didn't get message that exam had been rescheduled. They still got me in on time with different Dr. They need to add a 6th star to ratings! read more

Dr. Liang was very informative on refractive surgery procedures and provided me with all my different options. With the research I had already done and the new knowledge I received from Dr. Liang, I knew Lasik was the right decision for me. Being an active duty military aircrew member, there are strict guidelines and requirements when getting "outside" care. The staff at Center for sight was very accommodating which made it very easy for me to coordinate back and forth with the military on the care I was receiving. The surgery went smooth and my recovery was quick! The staff made sure the follow on appointments went as scheduled and that the healing process was going well. Dr. Liang performed laser cataract surgery for my mom, who was a very nervous patient upon arrival (I accompanied her). I have to say that the staff was great, she received a lot of education regarding what her options were before she met with Dr. Liang, who then went over all of her options with her. Everything went great during surgery and she is now seeing better than she has since she was thirty (she's now 78!) We were told that this Center was ALL Ophthalmologists. Did not see an Ophthalmologist but an Optometrist (Not known until appointment was completed and looked online). Had to pay a copay to get a referral from PCP in order to see an Ophthalmologist, and pay another copay to for our appointment. That was a rip off. Could have just went to an Optometrist at Len's Crafter to see an Optometrist and copay was only $10. Told this center my eyes seemed dry and they recommended a Lipiflow treatment which was a rip off as well and cost 1,000 bucks. Thought this was the only course of action, so I succumbed to it. Results: Eyes are still dry! They just try to convince you to buy services there and if you wanted your prescription, you had to pay for it. WTH? Recommend people go to Len's Crafters because you know what your getting and they have all the latest technology and you don't have to pay for your prescription. read more

My experience with Dr. Salinas Garcia was ridiculous to say the very least. After all the prep work i.e. dilation and images of my optic nerves I had been at the office for close to 3 hours. By the time he came in he shook my hand but never looked at me. His head was in the complete opposite direction. He spent 99 % of the 5-6 minutes of our appointment talking only with the assistant on how to enter the paper work and how to print them. My mom looked at the screen of the images of my eyes and inquired about what she was seeing. His response to her was "well you don't have to be a doctor to look at a screen do you? " Then explained nothing. When the appointment was over he simply walked out. Even the assistant didn't know if he was coming back. I have seen a lot of specialist due to my condition but his was by far the worst in terms of bed side manor and not fulfilling is basic job criteria. -10 from me. ~Jenny read more
