My dog Shadow and I had an appointment today, which was very easy to schedule. Dr. Lorkowski explained everything to me that Shadow needed and answered all my questions. DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE, even for the low-cost walk-in vaccines: the front desk staff are horrendously rude, condescending, and have no interest in the welfare of your pets. If the veterinarians choose to employ such staff, I can't imagine that they are any better. TLDR: a receptionist named "Ann" yelled at me, insulted my intelligence, demeaned my credentials, and then HUNG UP ON ME for simply trying to report a vaccine reaction in two of my cats after being vaccinated there. I am a medical doctor (M.D.), and this can be easily verified. I only went for vaccines; I can't imagine bringing my pets here for actual medical care and advice, considering the lack of care and extremely poor guidance shown in this situation. FULL STORY: Three of my young and previously healthy cats (A, W, and S) were each vaccinated here on 7/25/26 with a single non-adjuvanted FVRCP vaccine, since I don't like to mix shots on the same date. Two of the three cats (W and S) are siblings, and W and S are currently having what is *possibly* a reaction to this vaccine. Emphasis on the *POSSIBILITY,* since we can't know for sure. S was under the weather for a couple of days and is now back to normal, but W had to go to the ER with a fever of 105.1 and remains in critical condition--he has refused to eat on his own for the past 5 days at the time of this review and still might not survive. At the ER, I got bloodwork, urinalysis, X-rays, ultrasound and administered fluids, so it was a $2k+ workup--which I gladly paid for--but with no clear answer as to why this is happening, I still might lose him. I am obviously very distraught about this. All three of my cats are strictly indoors. The ER vets and I concluded it was *possible* that since the vaccine the cats had received at Centennial contained a *MODIFIED LIVE VIRUS*--i.e., a virus that is alive, but has been altered to make it harder to cause infection, versus a killed/dead virus, where it would be impossible to cause infection--that W and S *COULD* have developed a mild/moderate form of one of the very diseases we were vaccinating against, calicivirus. W is now showing many of the signs and symptoms of an actual calicivirus infection, with no possible environmental exposure. Notably, A, W, and S have all been repeatedly vaccinated against FVRCP in the past with zero side effects with an adjuvanted, *KILLED VIRUS* vaccine (Elanco) by our regular vet. The shot given at Centennial (Vanguard, by Zoetis) was the first time they had ever received a non-adjuvanted, *MODIFIED LIVE VIRUS* FVRCP vaccine (I have owned W and S since birth and know their entire medical history). Bottom line: it is completely plausible that the *modified live virus* FVRCP vaccine happens to be problematic for W and S, and not A. It is *no one's fault* this is happening. Vaccine reactions happen, and it is just bad luck. So I simply called Centennial to report this. In no way did I blame them or accuse them. I just wanted to share the information, re-confirm which vaccine was given, and get the vaccine lot #/expiration date so I could also report this to the vaccine manufacturer so other animals could be helped (and Zoetis, by the way, was kind and professional when I did make the report). I would have thought that, as an establishment that provides medical care for animals, Centennial would be interested to hear what had happened to my cats, and at least offer a few concerned words of sympathy. I was completely wrong. As soon as I mentioned "vaccine reaction," the receptionist I spoke to--a RECEPTIONIST, so NOT a vet tech, and DEFINITELY not a vet--i.e., someone who is completely unqualified to make any type of medical judgment--immediately interrupted me to inisist it was "impossible" that my cats were having a vaccine reaction since I was calling about 10 days after they had been vaccinated. I tried to explain I was not referring to an immediate type I hypersensitivity allergic reaction, which, yes, would have occurred in the first 30 minutes or so. She would have realized that if she had let me continue speaking, which she didn't. She also mixed up which vaccines were given by Centennial and which at another vet, and refused to allow me to correct her, constantly talking over me. This is how the end of our conversation went: RECEPTIONIST, condescendingly: "There is no way your cat had a vaccine reaction." ME: "Well, I was actually reading online about..." (didn't get to finish my statement) RECEPTIONIST, sneering: "You can read online about whatever you want!" ME, firmly: "Ma'am, well, I'm actually also a medical doctor, so I was going to say that...." (didn't get to finish again) RECEPTIONIST, literally gloating with sarcasm: " I LOVE THAT. HAVE YOURSELF A NICE DAY." **Hangs up phone on me** ....not sure why she was so triggered. This place allows unqualified staff to berate clients and give out completely incorrect info. Dr. Lorkowski was kind, patient, and thorough; she took the time to explain everything clearly, never rushed the exam, and genuinely cared about my dog's well-being. She confirmed that there was no infection and no surgery needed, saving me from unnecessary treatment and a $2,400 procedure another vet had recommended. The exam was also very reasonably priced at $50, and the entire staff was warm, professional, and attentive from start to finish. It honestly pains me to leave this review because I've trusted Centennial Animal Hospital for a long time, but my experience today was extremely upsetting. Jeremy, who I believe is a vet tech, handled my dog in a way that I found completely unacceptable. He dragged her from the side exit door toward the back room where vaccinations are done. I was walking alongside them, trying to encourage her to move, and repeatedly asked if I could help, especially to lift her onto the table since she was clearly scared. Instead, he continued dragging her. While telling me he had help in the back, he was pulling her into the door frame and then into furniture once inside the room. At that point, I spoke up and said that she was scared and shouldn't be dragged like that, but he ignored me and proceeded into another room, closing the door. What made this even more concerning is that four other employees witnessed this and did not step in or say anything. This feels like more than just one individual's behavior, it reflects a lack of care and accountability. The entire time she was in the back, I felt anxious for her well-being. She wasn't given any patience or time to feel comfortable, he immediately resorted to dragging her. I'm extremely disappointed. This experience was distressing to witness and, in my opinion, completely unacceptable. *i truly hope no one gets fired for this. the point of this review is that people need to handle the pets with better care, so please help them do so.* read more

I have had a few pups (Mickey, Sheila, Woodey, Princess) and a cat (Shorty), that we've taken to Centennial Animal Hospital for care over the years. I'm surprised I haven't done a review. But wanted to take the time to express my gratitude to Centennial Animal Hospital and the staff. I have had different veterinarians at this animal hospital, that have treated our pets over the years. Doctor Sibyl De Anda is our current veterinarian, and she really cares for the animals. She provides the best treatment and advice, while keeping in mind the best interest of your pet. She has cared for two of our pets and also put down two of our furbabys when it was time for that. That is always a hard thing to do. The staff were all very kind and compassionate during the process. I recently had to bring my dog here to be put down. They explained euthanasia and gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye. It's such a terrible thing to have to put your fur baby down, but the staff definitely help and are extremely empathetic during the process. Furthermore, I have always gotten excellent service and care. Whenever our pets have had problems, we have taken them here. And they get better. Clearly overwhelmed staff, problem is they take it out on the clients and are incredibly rude. I made a minor emergency appointment for my Golden Retriever. I was told there is a $100 fee to have him as a walk-in and they could not tell me how long it would take to see the Vet. This is fine as I understand they are busy. I scheduled the appointment for two days later, figuring if I needed to, I would take my dog to an emergency center. I received a call this morning from Centennial Animal Hospital and unfortunately missed the call. No message was left by them. When I returned the call, the phone rang with no answer. Later this afternoon they called again and this time they left a message saying they had a regular appointment open up and I could bring my dog in without the $100 feet. When I called back just a short time later, the person who answered the phone was extremely rude. She asked me what I was calling for then proceeded to cut me off when I tried to explain. When I said, you guys called me and I'm returning your call she says "what it is about" ... I politely said, I had a minor emergency appointment scheduled but was told there was a regular appointment now available ... she again very rudely says "those fill up fast" ... what time was it for? Again, they called me ... ‍. When I told her the time that was left on my message she quickly and rudely said that is taken. Most vet visits need urgent assistance and care, they can't get you in for 5-6 days but will offer you a semi emergency slot for $100 and you have to wait to be seen up to multiple hours. All they say is that they are a very busy clinic. I love Dr Craft and Dr Tyler but sadly have to find a new vet for 2 dogs. They can not keep up with the demands and the front office is rude. I had a wonderful experience at Centennial Animal Hospital! I went for removal of a growth from my dog's leg. A previous vet had looked at it and told me it was benign. However, it was unsightly and minimally impeding her ability to lay down in certain positions. Dr. DeCoud to the rescue! This veterinarian is both kind and real. I love that she shares best case to worst case scenario without using scare tactics. Long story short-- they were able to get my dog into surgery quickly and provided great aftercare. Do not come here! I'm in the process of taking my cat to Corona Animal Emergency because these people did not give me my cat's test results. I paid over $600 in x-rays and tests with the promise to have the results the next day. Well they didn't call me. I called them and they said they weren't ready but would call me before the end of the day. Here I am 3 hours past closing and no phone call with test results! My cat has gotten worse and I have no idea what's wrong with her. She should be on some kind of medication right now but because they failed to care for my cat, I have to go to the emergency now! I'll find a way to get reimbursed somehow since I still don't have results and they don't answer emails, phone calls, or return my calls for the test results. Unfortunately we had to put one of our fur babies down and needed to find a location that was reasonable in our price range. Staff is very nice but this isn't ran properly or made sense. I waited a hour in the waiting room when I had an appointment. Finally got to the exam room, my cat was hesitant coming out of crate because he was surrounded by dogs in the waiting room. He hissed once and they told me that they had to sedate him if he wanted his wellness exam and sanitary clip. I ended up getting him out of the crate and he was sitting on my lap. I asked if they could just do an exam non sedated. They said maybe but I would have to wait another hour because they have no availability even though I had an appointment. It would've been impossible to get him confident enough to do exam if I had him wait another hour in the waiting room. So I left with nothing but my cat being scared for 2 hours. read more

I would never, ever trust this place with your pets. Last Thursday, I took my dog in for a routine check up and some updated shots. The vet, Nedra Decoud, walked in, didn't introduce herself or anything. Starts feeling my dog, and looks at me and repeatedly say "he has a mass" and "how have you never felt this mass" as she's aggressively pinching his skin, in a way Ive never squeezed my dog (so how would I know about this mass if I'm never squeezing my dog like that?) okay, let it slide because I was so caught off guard. she said we needed to do a Fine Needle Aspiration to tell me whether it was cancer or a lipoma, so I let them. I called this morning & was told they had my results, but that a vet had to call me for them. Hours went by so I called again to check in, spoke to someone else and they told me I wouldn't be getting my results because the vet who sent them wasn't in. I asked to have a different vet read them to me because my experience with Nedra Decoud was so awful. They put me on a very brief hold and told me they put a note on the vets desk to do so. I had a feeling they were bluffing to get me to stop talking, so I called back later and was told that Tyler Craft, the owner, would be calling me back with my results before the office closed. This was at 5pm, their office closed at 7:30, and it is now 8pm, no call. I am waiting to find out whether my dog has CANCER and this joke of an office has shown NO urgency or regard for my pets life, and is just willingly withholding results, when they have them readily available, for days. As the world in veterinarian care changes , so many of us are seeing big corporations taking over animal hospitals and clinics. Not all are these corporations are bad but most aren't where I'd take my pet. It's comforting to know that Centennial Animal Hospital is still what it's always been. An animal hospital with compassionate and caring doctors, dedicated staff and a veterinarian run hospital that's there to do what's right for your pets. I have the utmost respect and trust in Dr Tyler Craft and the entire team of veterinarian's at Centennial who honor the oath they took to become veterinarian's every day. The oath to protect animal health and welfare and relieve animal suffering. My experience is solely based on my dog's first visit to get vaccines. The visit was super convenient. I called and was informed of the pricing and the 'no appointment necessary' for shots. This was great news because I was on a bit of a time crunch. It was a Tuesday at about lunch time. The entire visit from check in to end was less than 20mins. The staff was friendly. They have a nice grassy waiting area in the front for pets and their owners. The price of the vaccines were reasonable. I spent $44 on two. My dog was taken in and returned to me in about 5mins. Again, very convenient, easy and reasonably priced. I would recommend it. I cannot provide a more detailed review as this was my first visit and it was only for vaccines. I had the unfortunate experience of putting my dog down this weeks and wanted to share an updated review for Dr. G specifically. When my dog started having trouble in the morning, I couldn't find a vet who had availability to see her. Out of desperation, I drove to centennial and asked for Dr. G specifically, as she is the dr. I had the best experience with in the many years of going to this hospital. Dr. G came right out to my car to examine my pup even though I didn't have an appointment. Unfortunately the diagnosis resulted in my decision to euthanize. Obviously it was awful, but dr. G took care in making sure I was as informed and peaceful about the decision as possible. She was incredibly patient and compassionate and respected my wish to do the procedure in my car, where she loved to be. Thank you dr. G for your help and kindness on possibly the hardest day of my life so far. I'd give her alone 5 stars, but still don't recommend the clinic overall. read more

We have been coming here since 2012 with our dog. This place is amazing, great, wonderful, everything above. Our family dog hasn't been the nicest to strangers and he's been anxious/reactive dog. But here they always treat him (with caution) and they don't deny him. We always come prepared and always wait in the car or outside until they call us. Couple years back we had ask to get meds for him because he is so afraid of loud noises especially fireworks. Every 6months we come and they take a look at him. Our family dog means the world to us even though he's not the nicest. They literally have help us and just been so supportive and understanding. I cry tears of relief and joy every time because they are just so supportive and understanding. We have gone to other places but this place doesn't judge. I moved out of my parents and I got a golden retriever puppy and guess where I bring her. Yep here. I drive 45mins to come here because there is just wonderful people here.
