At one point after the pedicure and during the manicure....the male technician grabbed a tool from under one of the nails desks that we were not sitting at. I asked if it was clean and told him my friend got a bad toe infection from tools that were not properly cleaned elsewhere. Thought I'd try this place because it had more stars than the rest of the places in DuPont. Instantly regretted it. I should've listened to my instinct when i made the appt and the girl in the phone was already rude. But went in and the first thing they ask is it I have a mask. um our mask mandate ended a month ago and if you still want to make people wear one you need to let them know on the phone. There's one lady there and comes off extremely rude and the whole energy in there is not welcoming at all. Horrible nail job. And although the lady who did my nails was very nice she didn't do well at all. They're very lumpy and extremely crooked. I asked her to fix them and she just couldn't and I was so over it at that point I just wanted to be out of there. Now I have to go get them fixed because this is embarrassing. Will not be returning. She didn't use a base coat on 8 of my 10 nails and now they are lifting 5 days after getting them done. A gel manicure should last 2 weeks when done well. This is easily the BEST place ive ever been to for a pedicure. It is all one price and includes an exfoliating scrub, warm oil massage and paraffin dip for just $28 dollars..$25 with military id. The massage is extra long and the massage chairs are soooo comfortable and clean. The woman that runs the store Kim is amazing, she always remembers you and your conversation you had last time. She never trys to upsell you and is upfront with any thing that would cost extra. The also have the best selection of OPI and China glaze nail polishes and three different brands of shellac/gel polish with all the colors. Really friendly staff and do a great job. Pedicures are a must! Make sure to ask for pricing as it seems their pricing changes often. Pedicures were $25 and now are $28 as of September 10th 2019. Gel manicures are $25. Went with a group and only one person had an okay expierence as everyone else had a great time and great tech. read more

Best place to get your nails done by far! Go in and ask for Kim she is the best always super friendly and no where can beat their prices if you pay cash you'll receive a 10% discount so I'd recommend trying to bring some if possible. Also their pedis are amazing most places charge extra for add one like the wax and stone message center nails does not it is included. Chairs are comfortable and I never have to correct them on anything their not doing. Been going to Center for about a year now- Melissa and Kim ALWAYS take care of me. I regularly get fills and color changes, with a pedicure here and there- I've never had an issue and they know what I like, but still always make sure to check if I want something new. Today Melissa got me in (without an appointment) for a fill/color change & pedi! She knew I have an engagement photo shoot coming up and recommended a color to match my fall theme since my wedding nails we are designing will be more neutral. BEST decision ever, my set looks DIVINE and is bold without making it over the top. Seriously perfection. Pedi was amazing as always and I loved catching up with staff and other regulars alike. That being said, I honestly have run across some genuinely horrible experiences my last few visit when I've witnessed new or visiting CUSTOMERS who treat their nail techs at Center poorly- the most common issue has stemmed from customers expectations that the techs act like servants. I've read reviews where customers are saying they were told no to getting a particular style of nail set- but fail to mention the service in question isn't offered at this location. I've seen customers mess up their own polish from talking on the phone then they "want to talk to the owner" even after their nails are fixed for free. People being upset that the techs are talking too much, or too little, or complaints that this isn't an English only space. Even with all the rude and often racist one off customers- Kim and her staff work to accommodate every customer they can, often without food or bathroom breaks because it may earn them a bad review from a non regular. This location and its staff are in high demand daily, so having a little patience when there's a wait, a good attitude (as a customer!) and being clear about what you want go a long way for everyone. So if you are demanding for a 5* spa experience or a place you can treat the staff like indentured servants, please go elsewhere: no one needs that kind of abuse, even if you think your tip makes up for it. But if you're looking for a fire full set, a pedicure with a thorough massage, and don't mind that this place isnt run by convent of nail tech nuns, make Center Nails your next appointment. read more

I went in for a pedicure and Ben did mine. I know A lot of people complain that he's rude, but I loved that I just got to relax and not have to make conversation. He did a great job. He took his time and was gentle. I'm guessing there's only one kind of pedicure because he did not ask me what kind of pedicure I wanted. Also, he pointed to the "drying" station and didn't tell me anything else. I wasn't sure how it worked until another lady told me, "it's a black light". Other than that, It was a good experience. This place is small too crowded. The chairs are too close to each other. I didn't feel comfortable getting my pedi too close to other people. They seem to hurry doing their customers. I had a mani and pedi and a lady started with my foot then soon another lady came up and started to do my finger nails. WOW!!! Feet and fingernails at the same time. To sum this review up: I will not visit this location again do to customer service and sanitation. I really wanted to love this place. I saw good reviews so I tried it out and got a pedicure. A heavy set lady came over and started to take my nail-polish off. I had gel nail polish and the she seemed very angry because I had nail gel polish. I had 3 different people do my pedicure. I had to wait 25 minutes for 2 different people to take my gel nail polish off before the pedicure. Another lady that worked there yelled out to the staff to use a calculator. When I went to pay the lady said I think it is (amount). I added it up and they charged me extra to take the gel nail polish off. For sanitation, I never saw the staff clean their equipment. I never saw there buckets that they carry go to the backroom to be cleaned. read more

Just got a pedicure here ($28 before tip), I have to say, the staff here go the extra mile AND don't talk shit about your cracked heels. I recently attended a beach wedding that did a real number on my feet but the staff who handled them was thorough, thoughtful and kind. At no point did I feel embarrassed or like the staff were talking about my shredded toenails. The pedicure chair was super comfy too. They only have 1 pedicure "options" for $28 however similar to other places "advanced" options this pedicure had paraffin wax, leg massage, and hot stone massage. Highly recommend! This nail salon is very clean . The ladies except for one kept it professional. I walked in for a pedi and loved the way it came out and older woman did my pedi for me she was super sweet . My feet are super ticklish so I giggled while they were being scrubbed the unprofessional woman let out a loud "that scare the shit out of me" I had my headphones in & music playing but I could still hear her.
