I called and spoke with Steven, he heard my situation and offered to get me in touch with the acupuncturist Brad, via phone. I later arrived to my hotel and talked to Steven and Brad, took a Lyft over to their studio and they treated me right! Acupuncture is not as bad as it seems or people make it out to be. I got a multi-treatment of work from Brad and Steven. Steven is also the owner of this beautiful and legit studio with a team of skilled and unique individuals. He and Brad are like the dynamic duo, :-) healing people deeply with their skillset one-person at a time! I ended the day feeling better and purchased some really nice and well priced Magnesium flakes to soak my leg in that evening. Thanks for everything guys! Much respect!

Hold on for an incredible story of "inner healing" and "flute therapy" ladies and gentlemen. You will laugh and hopefully feel my discomfort by the end of this story. I made an apt for a shiatsu & deep tissue massage with Jonathan per the recommendation of the front desk as a Thai massage therapist was not available. Upon arrival on time, I was greeted by very slow, laid back service. While filling out my paperwork my massage therapist chatted with a coworker and continued his conversation after seeing I was done. Once we got into the massage room he asked the normal questions and then proceeded to start a short yoga session to open my back and arms. I was clearly not dressed for that but I did my best. Afterward, he started the massage in which I let him know I like firm pressure. He proceeded with a very lackluster attempt at a massage and then the music turned off AND HE STARTED PLAYING THE FLUTE! I kid you not! He did two circles around me with his passionate flute playing, then informed me the "experience" was done. I looked at my phone and saw that he ended exactly an hour after I arrived at the shop, not after the massage began. I was floored! He then proceeded to give me a sales pitch and remind me how expensive the massages are normally. I felt so uncomfortable I left a $10 tip and left. If I could go back in time, I would have left nothing. To end it all, my back started to twitch and go out on my way home. Needless to say, this was the most awkward waste of money and time.

Didn't seem like that big of a deal. I get there at 10:15 and they said it was a typo and it was actually re-scheduled for 11:15. So I drove over there an hour early and had to return later which ate up most of my morning. I tried to book again for a massage on February 8th and they texted the night before saying they needed to cancel. Disappointing, but again I understand. Booked an appointment for today and they texted saying it was cancelled two hours before the massage. There have been no apologies and I don't think they even are aware that this has been my experience. I'm sure it's a fine service if they can actually follow through with their appointments.

I sought out a lomi lomi practitioner because I grew up with it and have found it to be very conducive to healing rather than just feeling good. I also remember the practitioners having a very intuitive sense of what I needed, and as I'm also a little awkward and not great at communicating my needs, I was really hoping Karrie would have the same. She did not disappoint. I left feeling like I was floating. Two days later I'm still feel better than I have in weeks. By far the best massage I've had in years. Highly recommend.
