Her office right now is a short drive from Portland, where she has a lovely set up in a residential area. She is very personal and has a vast amount of knowledge about your muscles, tendons, and joints. She knew exactly where all my trigger points were and worked them out for me. Seriously...one of the best, and most comprehensive, massage therapists I've had the pleasure of seeing.

I woke up last Friday morning to a very kinked neck! The pain was surprisingly terrible. I went about my day thinking it would loosen up as I stretched it during the day. By 3pm it was clear I was going to need some help with this particular kink ;). I reached out to a few massage therapists I was acquainted with fully expecting no one would have the capacity to see me that afternoon. I was right. Then I found Holly! She responded immediately and offered me an appointment that evening. (According to her website this kept her open past her normal business hours.) The massage was amazing and the relief was instant. Her suite is in a neighborhood near NW 23rd. She was welcoming and her space is relaxing, smells wonderful, and filled with beautiful artwork. I've been getting massages from Holly for the past seven years. She is not only extremely talented at her craft, but she's so very easy to talk to. She listens to all of your concerns and figures out a treatment plan for you. She'll even give you nutrition tips and stretches to do between massages. It's hard to find a massage therapist that truly knows how to focus in on the pain or discomfort that you describe. Holly brings an expertise and focus on the details that zero's in on an exact remedy to the issue. The best massages I have ever had. Ever. In any city. In a spa, at a medical clinic, using any modality, from whatever school or philosophy ... Just the absolute best. I almost don't want to write this review because part of my jealously wants to keep Holly a secret, but that would not be fair to others and it would especially be unfair to Holly, who is so authentically warm and friendly and wonderful. Just meeting her and entering her gorgeous, cozy studio will already start to relax you. Holly's strength and endurance are amazing. I have had two-hour massages from here in which she gives her all the entire time. She can work deep into sensitive, precarious muscles and joints without any flare-up afterwards, which very few massage therapists can do. Her back and shoulder work is incredible--she reaches muscles you have been dying to be released. Plus, her spirit genuinely comes through in how she works on you and also in how she just speaks with you, and that connection makes the experience all the more sublime. So, shhhhh--go see Holly. Holly is pure magic! She's small but strong and that little firecracker can take out even the most stubborn of knots. I've been plagued with lower back injuries and neck injuries the majority of my life, I've been to physical therapy and chiropractors and never had the results I get from being treated by her. After one session of her working the knots out of my glutes and hamstrings my lower back stopped slipping out of place! Her nurturing intuitive nature and her caring heart joined with her extensive knowledge and skill make her a vital asset to anyone's wellbeing. Honest... Holly is the MOST incredible massage therapist I have ever experienced!! I met her when she was working at a chain spa and I had just run a marathon. She immediately knew exactly what I needed - because she is an expert in human anatomy and muscle structure.
