The lighting is also better than at many other indoor facilities, which I truly appreciate. It's not overpriced--very affordable. The female locker room is dated but very clean, and there is a changing and shower room as well. A little-known fact: there's a clay court tucked behind the building that feels especially private. Most importantly, the staff--from the manager/owner, Vinkey (and her adorable dog, Lucky), to the front desk attendants--are all incredibly accommodating. Need a match but don't know anyone? They've got you covered with affordable doubles match sign-ups. I don't play anywhere else nearly as much as I do here--especially outside of the summer season.

There is no annual dues which is awesome and they have an online platform for members to book their courts as long as it's not the day of booking. The owners of this clubs are very nice people and are always responsive to those that attend the club. This club has a large parking lot, so you don't have to worry about finding a parking spot. The locker rooms are clean. They have clinics for people of all levels and leagues on the weekend. I've only had 2 lessons so far and I'm so incredibly impressed! First off, the very first…read moreinteractions I had with the director Larry were terrific. I had trouble navigating the website to register so I called Larry and he was very responsive and eager to make it as easy for me as possible. Turns out I FAIL at navigating websites. The website is actually very user friendly and shortly after my phone call I found what I was looking for and easily registered. A little background: I have never played tennis and have poor hand/eye coordination so I was very nervous when I showed up to the courts but Larry gave me a very warm welcome as soon as I wandered up. I had my 2 kids in tow because my husband was running late to get them so Larry immediately handed them rackets and balls and let them go play. He obviously loves the game and really stresses the family and lifetime aspects of the sport. I knew immediately that I'd be signing the boys up for lessons this summer The class that I enrolled in was 101 or beginner tennis. In addition to Larry there were two younger tennis professionals, Hassan and Tendai, helping out with coaching. It was a large group of varying abilities but they handled it well, Since my friend and I were the only ones who had never played any tennis, he gave us a little extra coaching. All three coaches were positive and encouraging and I had a great time but I was a little intimidated because it seemed like everyone else had more experience than I had. Any doubts I had went away at my second lesson. Now that they had a better understanding of everyone's abilities they separated the class into two groups: true beginners like myself with Larry and the more experienced players with Hassan and Tendai. Once again I had a great time but I actually felt that I got a little better. It was so fun I'm sure that I will want to continue. I think the fact that an uncoordinated person such as myself can come away from two tennis lessons with the confidence to take up the sport is proof that they know what they're doing over there at SPOT. I can't wait til my next lesson!

The staff was really friendly, and the groups were spaced out sufficiently so we could play relatively quickly and not feel rushed by groups behind us. It is a pretty flat, straightforward layout, so we opted to walk and found it very walkable. The heart of the fairways and greens were in pretty good shape. Sure, the tee boxes looked well used/worn and once you got off fairway the conditions were dry and a little rough, but for a public course at this price point, I would definitely play here again. Sand in bunkers was almost like concrete, so not great to hit out of...but you can role through them like a cart path! If you're looking for a Pinehills experience, or something that rivals an exclusive country club, this is not a place for you. But for a relaxed, laid back walkable 9-hole course, you could do worse.

Not like other private pool clubs with a preppy feel. Snack bar has great food and a decent variety. Great place considering the day to day staff is mostly in their late teens. Kendbrin will always have a special place in my heart.
