Back in July, my wife and I stopped by Central Bark Paradise Valley after being on their mailing list. I even got a personalized call from Dan to come to the grand opening and also to consider bringing my dog Bailee by. While we're working on some reactivity issues with Bailee, we hope to get to the point soon where we can bring her to Central Bark to take advantage of so many wonderful services so close to home. We attended the grand opening which gave us the opportunity to meet the staff, learn about services, get a tour of the facility, learn about special offers, try some tasty food, and visit vendors visiting for the grand opening. There was even a (dog) "kissing booth" (or room). The vendors offered creative companies that feature pet/animal services. Snacks included bagels, Jimmy John's, and more. They gave us coupons for grooming and boarding. The staff all seemed very nice and certainly very helpful. The physical space is so much larger than you'd expect when just walking into the main welcome area. There are coupons on the website so that you can try a free day of enrichment dog day care, 20% off first night of dog boarding, and 20% off first dog bath or groom. They are open weekdays from 7 AM to 7 PM and on weekends by appointment only. While we don't have Bailee going over to Central Bark yet, we anticipate it is only a matter of time before she heads over there. Likely, first for a grooming, and later for other services. We are OBSESSED with Central Bark and can't recommend it enough! If you have a dog, this place is seriously a game changer. From the moment we walked in, it felt different in the best way: clean, organized, and run by people who truly understand and love dogs. They even made a personalized Christmas ornament for us with our dogs paw print :) We started with their free Puppy Hour and it was the perfect intro, safe, controlled, and such a great way to build confidence and social skills. After seeing how excited our dog was to go (like... happy wiggles the second we pull up), we were sold. What we love most is how flexible it is. No huge monthly commitment, just a reasonable per-day option that works perfectly with our hybrid work schedules and travel. And the daily "report cards" are everything: real updates, adorable pictures, and it's so clear they actually know your dog and pay attention. Central Bark's whole-dog approach is the reason we chose them over anywhere else. They emphasize balanced play, rest breaks, enrichment, small groups, and extra one-on-one attention if your pup wants it. It's not just "chaos in a room" with no supervision. It's thoughtful care that leaves our dog happy, calm, and fulfilled. And Dan, the owner, is amazing! He's so attentive, responsive, and genuinely invested. He remembers names after one interaction, makes you feel welcome, and treats your dog like family. Even with a bit of a drive, we wouldn't take our dog anywhere else. If you're on the fence, GO! So..... Our favorite groomer is now at Central Bark . What a wonderful facility and great location! Sue is the only groomer I trust with my furry kids! Lola our labradoodle is 2 handfuls and she comes home beautiful! My Yorkies LOVE HER! They offer lots of services here! Best part the security system appears to be escape proof! read more

Central Bark has been incredible for our pup Ollie. The staff genuinely cares and it shows. He always comes home happy, tired, and clearly living his best life. The minute we pull into the parking lot he completely forgets I exist because he is that excited to see everyone. They send text updates with photos and videos throughout the day, which I love. I was nervous at first about daycare, but it is honestly one of the best things I have ever done for him. We have also used their boarding service and it has been just as great. I always know Ollie is in good hands, and it gives me complete peace of mind when we have to travel. They keep me updated and take such good care of him that I never have to worry. Their grooming team is amazing. I was nervous about his first haircut because small dogs can be tricky, but they groom him perfectly every time. Since Ollie is a toy breed, I was worried about how gentle people would be with him, but they have all been so kind and careful. He always looks and smells so good afterward, and they handle him with so much care. I trust them completely now. Dan, the owner, is awesome. He knows every single dog by name and makes everyone feel welcome. You can tell this place is run with real love. The entire team goes above and beyond for the dogs and the parents. The facility is spotless. It never smells like dog or urine, and every time I am there someone is cleaning or vacuuming. And get this, they even play classical music for the dogs. I mean come on, that is just fabulous. It truly feels like family when you walk in, and that level of thoughtfulness and care is rare. read more

Can't say enough great things about Central Bark! I think the thing that makes it our top choice over other doggie daycares is the dog to human ratio, 12-1 with 15-1 being the max! They also can work with your pup one on one and have other add on services like grooming, which makes it super convenient. Everyone is super friendly and it is pretty dang affordable too! 10/10 recommend! read more

Central Park PV is a wonderful place for your dog(s)! My dog has been coming here for daycare for about 3 weeks and she's thriving there. She is always so happy when we pull up and she recognizes where we are. The facility is extremely clean and their daycare program operates very smartly and safely - they only allow up to 15 dogs in the play yard at once, and every dog gets individual rest time (with enrichment treats) in between their play time in the yard, so your dog is not over stimulated and/or run down from playing for 8+ hours. In the room where the dogs take their breaks, and their boarding room, they have lavender essential oil and classical music playing for the dogs. :-) You also get a mid-day "report card" via text that includes multiple pictures of your dog and an update on their day. The staff is extremely professional and friendly, and works with you and your dog's needs, and welcomes your dog with open arms (literally) every time you walk in the door. I've used a few other dog daycares in the Valley, and by far Central Bark PV is the best. Two paws up! read more

My dog, Roo, had such a good experience with the grooming team at Central Bark. I was hesitant to take her to a new place, because Roo has a lot of anxiety with baths and anyone trying to brush her hind quarters. I explained all of this to the female associate and she really listened to my concerns. Roo did much better than expected and I credit that to the groomer's expertise and patience. Central Bark Paradise Valley is a fantastic place for our pup (2.5 year old chocolate lab). Most day cares leave 20-30 dogs together all day with 1-2 handlers and no breaks -- an overwhelming and overstimulating environment even for social dogs like ours. Central Bark, by contrast, uses a small-group, enrichment based model where play groups can be better tailored to pups' individual needs, allowing for a healthy balance of socialization, mental stimulation, and rest throughout the day. Unsurprisingly, our dog is a huge fan -- he is so excited to be there that he practically drags his handler out of the room when we drop him off. On the human side, the owner and staff are also wonderful, and have been incredibly accommodating of both our and our pup's needs. We are so glad to have found Central Bark Paradise Valley, and strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a doggy day care! read more
