Jacob has been with us for, coming up on, a year now. He's spent countless evenings at my home, not just 'watching' my dogs, but treating them as if they were his own--even though it took Lewis almost six months to not be, well, Lewis On our most recent trip to the East Coast (a longer period of time), my other pup Jada got very sick. He catered to her needs, made her special food, and continued to check up on her long after the stay was over. In all seriousness, I couldn't recommend not only his services, but his love and attention any more. I feel so comforted and safe going on short to long trips knowing my home and my fur babies are in his care. 12/10 will always recommend! read more

Jacob & Paws of the Valley is an excellent choice for your pet's walking and care. Jacob takes care of my pups as if they are his own. He's very responsive and communicates any irregularities with your pet (diarrhea, not walking, not eating) that he notices. He's wonderful at sending video updates during the day of the "wild pup parties" (LOL) that seem to occur daily. Pups return home from both daycare and/or their walks exhausted and happy. I'm glad I was able to find Jacob! He is sweet and kind to my pups. Prior to having him stop in consistently he offered to met and do a trail run which I was grateful for. One of my pups is super shy, but Jacob is so patient with him and has made some progress with him. I love receiving updates and pictures on days he drops in. Jacob is absolutely wonderful with our dogs! We used his services twice in November and they were all well cared for and loved. One of the dogs in particular has special health needs, needs a special diet, and is a grouch. Jacob was wonderful with giving him his medication and updating me when he wouldn't cooperate with medication and food. I would wholeheartedly recommend Jacob and his wife for dog sitting! read more

I have been using Jacob's services since July when my black lab puppy, Legend, was just 9 weeks old. Jacob was great from the start. He took the time to find out my needs and expectations to make sure that our training philosophies were aligned. He reinforced Legend's training while also helping him to socialize with the other dogs at daycare. Jacob is dependable and Legend is always excited to see him. I get regular updates throughout the day of Legend on walks and at the dog park. I feel completely comfortable leaving my dog in his care because I know he is taken care of and loved. Let me just say now, Jacob & his wife have been absolutely awesome w/ us && our dogs, I would trust Jacob with my home & family if I needed to as Jacob has built a great working relationship with us & our dogs, he's always communicated w/ us clearly, he's been flexible, && most importantly, this young man is willing to show up for work! He shows up reliably everyday to walk our dogs, we have four freakin big a** dogs that aren't always on their best behavior && rather than just doing whatever is easiest for him, Jacob always shows up with a friendly smile & the will to do the job or task at hand the way we've asked him to, he doesn't come back to us with a million excuses as to why he cannot walk our dogs or let them run at the park, he takes the job at hand, which is getting our dogs out to exercise & run out excess energy, SAFELY && reliably. We can trust him to come & go from our home as needed, he always takes as much care for our home & pets as we would, he's even saved our dogs from getting themselves into trouble when they manage to let themselves out trying to take walks by themselves... All around, idk where we'd be without Jacob here w/ Paws of The Valley, we've tried other places, the dog walking apps, etc.. But we haven't found anyone else we can rely on to even regularly show up for work, let alone build a trusting relationship with so as to be able to give our regular business for services we very much need. Since Jacob came into our lives, I can finally say that there is at least one or maybe a couple expenses I have that are actually WORTH the cost. Jacob's services here with Paws of The Valley is one of those expenses. So many weird & bizarre, even scary experiences we've had just trying to hire a freaking dog walker... It's not the 1950's anymore & we can't just ask the neighbors kids to help with these kinds of things anymore for a little extra allowance, lol... It's NOT easy to find ppl you can trust around your home & family... Paws of the Valley is def the answer to all of our problems when it comes to making sure our pets get the exercise, time, & attention they need even if/when we can't be around to be with them doing these things with them ourselves.
