Almost never a Hold'em game, only Omaha & Big-O hi/lo split. If that's what you like, then this is the place for you.

This place is a membership campground so you can't request specific sites if you aren't a member. This park is packed with lots of trucks parked along every street with everyone having fun. Each site is gravel with green belts behind. There is tons of green grass and poop bag stands everywhere. The laundry is $2.50 to wash and $2.50 to dry. There is a restaurant with a bar. You can eat inside or out in front. Nice looking arcade, mini golf, shuffle board, horse shoes and a few places that give you access to the beach. The staff said hello everytime they drove by. We had a great time! Pismo Pier is three blocks to the left and there is a 7-11 across the street. We also went to a cool dinner show called Great American Melodrama. There is a coupon in you map booklet. Good chips and salsa at Old Juans Mexican Restaurant too.

Bryan the deputy dawg of security was at best a one toothed wonder deputy. Or so he thought! Deputy dawg started yelling at me for choosing the wrong exit gate. Then he accused me of trying to leave with out paying. What an idiot! After a yelling match I was able to start my payment process with the laughable lady who was in an ozone. While handing her my I.D. and credit card the idiot security guard reached over the laughable ladys shoulder and snatched my license from the cashier....wtf.....I asked for it back....nope ....left the office to go after the turd and took back my license. After having some security head trying to keep me out. Ha! Long story short the establishment is very nice the idiots representing the establishment not so much. They will NEVER get another nickel from me.

We did find the beds to be a bit soft but no big deal. I was worried about the prior reviews about bird poop but our baloney was very clean as was the entire courtyard and pool area. The girls were not happy but we made it work. They were sold out so we couldn't change rooms. The rooms are pretty spacious for a family. The beds are a little soft on the edges fyi. The bathrooms were not that big and the girls bathroom it flooded since the showerhead hit the edge and bouncing hitting water on the floor. They should have a different head so it doesn't do that. Girls room was super cold and never warmed up while our room was fine. The room was updated but just some cheap finishes that could be nicer. We stayed in the Courtyard and easy access to the car and games area. I noticed the playground was gone and was a bummer. For breakfast you have to cross the bridge and go to the other hotel to eat. It was a bit crowded in the morning. Food was decent with waffles you can make yourself, chicken sausage, bacon, oatmeal, fruit, eggs, toast, and bagels. The pool was nice and now 2 heated pools you can use and they have pool towels and a hot tub. The beach is about 10 minutes away and you have to walk down some steep stairs but not bad. I love the suites so we would stay again but probably go mid week so prices are lower.

Be warned, if you go down... you have to climb the stairs back up. LOL. We walked from the hotel on the beach to the Pismo Beach Pier. Leisurely walk was nice but the climb up the stairs can be challenging. LOL. The room was clean and had a small fridge and all the amenities including a kuerig coffee maker. The hotel complimentary breakfast starts at 7am. Eggs, sausage, bagels, waffle and toast. Enough to get your day started. The property is dog friendly and lots of guests have dogs on a leash walking around. The summer we went, there are families with kids. Fun times for all. Our deluxe room comes with a $10 free drink each nice. Also, can't forget the cookies at 3pm. I would return to SeaCrest Ocean Front Hotel.

However, during this recent visit, we did not feel welcomed. When my wife and I approached the front desk for check‑in, the older female employee working the reception (possibly named Debbie or starting with a "D") told us she had not called us yet, even though it was clearly our turn in line. I apologized and stepped back, and only a few seconds later she did not greet us instead up front asked if we had a reservation. From the beginning, her demeanor toward us felt unfriendly and dismissive. We had booked an Ocean View King with a patio, but we were assigned a fourth‑floor room on the east wing of the hotel with only a partial ocean view and a strong smell of urine. it turns out this area of the building are pet friendly. We returned to the front desk, waited again, and when she called us over with "What's up," I explained the issue. She was quiet for a moment, then reassigned us to the main building second‑floor room above the reception area and informed us that no patio rooms were available. Her behavior throughout the check‑in process was discouraging and made us feel unwelcome, which was disappointing--especially considering we spent over $850 for a two‑night stay. However, a part from this staff issue, Seacrest is a great place to stay, the complementary breakfast is great! but yes that one staff was not the greatest...

I would say a mix between people that work in the area looking for cheap housing and permanent trailers that never leave. I counted three trailers that All had expired registration by more than a few years. The trailer next to us at the end of Bakersfield street had 2022 tags and was completely unkept and a eyesore The man living there had an expired vehicle in his parking spot. There's also only about 6 to 7 feet worth of room between the trailers on Bakersfield, which is absolutely ridiculous and not even to standard code of 10 feet. The place just seems ran down with transient activity in the area.

So don't think you will camp here and walk to the beach or even to any stores. 2. The hook ups are nice. Bring your own fire ring. 3. I personally thought the staff was great. I saw one staff member correcting a camper- but they deserved it and I am very glad they actually will say something. 4. Your Verizon coverage "can" work but is dependent on the number of people that are using it in the area. Thats not the campgrounds fault. Verizon works great until a million others log on. 5. Horseback riding available. The not so good: 1. Cramped! You are in here like sardines. 2. Not the easiest to get in or out. 3. Its possible to smell the sewage in certain places around the clubhouse. Yuck! 4. The neighbors are close. Really close. You will hear the music and conversations. They weren't bad at all, but be aware. 6. No fire rings. 7. Some of the permanent residents are like sanford and son. You will see some of that. This place isnt bad. Its not great. If they revamped the place and gave it a complete makeover with larger sites and fewer people- I would pay a lot of money to stay here.
