Took my two girls here for some dental work and Dr. Tran was really caring and gentle. They had a lot of anxiety about their first visit at this particular office and he put them at ease. He took care of their cavities and I've referred him to many other people in the county. I'm leaving this review because I stumbled on his yelpsite while looking for ortho and was surprised by the low stars. Majority of the low reviews seem like billing or scheduling issues, which seem more front office related. I did personally did not have any issues with the front office or feel rushed, but these concerns made by others do seem valid. On the flipside, we found the dentist himself to be very capable with regard to the dental work, having great chairside manners. I hope this review helps. read more

Love Dr Tran. Wish that I could have kept being treated at this office, but sadly they are primarily children care now. But my son still goes here. Everyone is so nice to him, and he is not the most easy to deal with in an appointment. He is fussy and quick to say no to everything. But everyone is so patient that I leave without a bundle of anxiety. Two thumbs up for the staff at Central Coast Dental :) read more

New dental office...well newish, staff is really nice and they aren't rush rush. The docs take the time to answer questions and address any concerns you might or may have. Also they don't want you to be in any pain, (I had root canal and there wasn't a large amount of pain,- also my nerve didn't want to come out so it took longer than usual) which made my anxiety go down a lot. I also have no insurance at the moment and they were more than willing to work out a plan (They have a thing where if you don't have insurance they will give you 30% off) This is coming from a person who hasn't been to the dentist in 8 years (I feel really guilty about it...) and hey, I even went back! read more

I had the best work done at this office. A couple fake fillings done that look absolutely natural. Also, really nice girls working here and an awesome and honest dentist who knows what he's doing and seems more up-to-date about new dental alternatives than most dentists....(I've changed 5 dentists in the past 4 years) I also didn't have insurance so he was very accommodating with the prices and the procedures I could afford, without sacrificing a thorough mouth exam. Dr. Was in a hurry and rushed my appt. He barely spent any time going over my X-ray. Every dentist I have been to offered tooth paste, floss and a tooth brush, but this dentist directed me to go to Costco, call me old school but those things really mean a lot to customers.The staff was polite, but I will not go back. read more

This is a new dental office that just opened up, so the wait is basically non-existent. The office is located in a strip mall, but it was quite luxurious. Nice sofas to sit on, nice ambiance. I had my teeth deep cleaned and the procedure was shockingly painless, thank god! Also, excellent work. The five stars are for the lack of pain, which is rare for me when I occassionally do the necessary visit to a dental office. The front office people were nice and the dentist was pretty enthused about opening up as he gave me a tour of the clinic. New X-ray technology etc. The clinic is next to a really great pizza place called Giant Manhattan Pizza, so check out my review for that as well. read more

I think Dr. Tran is a good dentist and a kind human being. However, he needs to impart those skills to his office manager. My child has a life-threatening illness and I tried to explain that to Darcy (I think her name is), his office manager at Central Coast Dentistry. She made mistakes in managing the insurance billing and has now sent the claim to a collection agency for 3x the amount originally owed. I am disgusted by the lack of responsibility on her part and the office to allow such protocol in dealing with parents and patients. They should be ashamed. read more

Dr. Tran did a great job of fixing my daughter's (8 years old) broken teeth!! First we took her to Turquoise Dental that did a TERRIBLE job. Dr. Tran at Central Coast Dental was able to completely re-do what was done before. He did a beautiful job of restoring her smile!!! The staff was very sweet!!! read more

I have been bringing my twin boys here for years and we love it! My kids have great clean teeth at 16 and I love it! We come here every 6 months and are always treated super nice. Its very clean and nice here plus they always get us in within a few weeks and I love that thank you so so much for our great teeth! read more

Being a previous patient I have felt rushed here and wasn't given the customer service that everyone deserves. Dentist seems rushed and isn't friendly. People are paying for your job. Everyone should be given great customer service and not just seen like $. Staff are somewhat friendly. read more

Dr Tran is one of the best dentists I have experience in a very long time. He's quick, very knowledgeable and very attentive and kind to you. He answers all your questions and makes sure you're comfortable he's so great with kids, my daughter has been going here for over 5 years? I think and I've referred 3 people to him. The staff is excellent as well, always kind and prompt service. Highly recommend for adults and children. And there is only one receptionist to answer phones so be patient but she is awesome as well!! read more

Bad experience with this place. The lady at the front desk is really nice but dr tran is so rude. Every time I've been in there he's not enthusiastic, in fact I feel unwanted. Feels extremely rushed and unconcerning. He wasn't comforting at all, until after he accidentally poked me with the needle in my hand. Just overall horrible experience never going back. read more

I've been taking my children to Dr. Tran since moving up to the Central Coast 7 years ago. Today was my turn for cleaning with a few minor fillings. The staff and Doctor are amazing making sure I wasn't in discomfort during my repairs. Thanks Doctor and staff! See you in 6 months! read more

This Doctor is whack tells my son who is pain from having his tooth yanked out with his bare hand without any warning to quiet down because other kids. I only have one worry and dats my son if he didnt have the courtesy to care what makes u think he cares for your kids!!!!! read more
