I can not write enough positive comments about Dr. Sharon Theodore and Central Coast Retina. My mother is being treated for macular degeneration and we recently visited this office. Upon entering we were greeted with a smile and offered assistance by Mary at the front desk. After filling out paperwork and signing the needed documents, Natacha the RN administered the tests for my mother's eyes. She was friendly, kind and patient. Dr. Theodore is a gem! She has a wonderful way with her patients, making them feel comfortable and relaxed as she treats their eyes. She is full of personality and always expresses an interest in her patients' lives. Dr. Theodore is wonderful. She treats my 90-something year old mother for macular degeneration. She is attentive, gentle and kind. She's also incredibly sharp as demonstrated by her discovery of an emergency issue with the eye that is not part of my mother's regular care. Dr. Theodore contacted a colleague and my mother had emergency surgery within days. It likely saved her eye and prevented the pain that would have been associated with it.
