Helping a friend move a couch. I broke a small pane on a door from the 30s/40s. Everyone else I called was trying to push me to get all the bells and whistles. Central Glass gave me a very reasonable quote and let me come in person right away. They provided me with various options and I ended up paying way less than I initially expected. On top of it all they were very knowledgeable and, despite me coming literally twenty minutes before they closed, unbelievably fast. I need to give a shout out to my man Jay! He walked me through everything he was doing and didn't mind going into detail. As a matter of fact, I feel confident in my ability to do it without any help in the future. You rock Jay! I live in an older home with metal pane windows. I wanted 2 panes repaired. I called CENTRAL GLASS. A jack hammer type tool was used to remove the old glass instead of removing by hand with a chisel. They ended up breaking 3 extra panes of glass which I was charged for. I will never use CENTRAL GLASS again nor will I recommend them to anyone. CENTRAL GLASS should never use this person to repair these kinds of windows again. He didn't know what he was doing. I had a pane repaired about a year ago. I thought I called the same company. My mistake, I called the wrong company. What a BIG mistake. The last company sent someone out who did everything by hand and didn't break any surrounding windows. I DO NOT RECOMMEND! Extremely unprofessional company. Was going to order $1600 mirror for my living room: Said they need to come to my house to see if it will fit through the door for $95. I agreed, I understand. They came, my husband was here, called me, I said I want of above an outlet, everything seemed great! Then they call me to say they need to come one more time and charge me another $95. What scammers! And manager is completely unprofessional and lack of business skills. Literally told me to forget buying their mirror if I refuse to pay second $95 fee. I understand some miscommunication happens and their mirror technician lack of experience or something! As good as it gets! Called to have a large custom mirror quoted to be replaced. You could tell they were professional and knew all about the glass, the type, strength, color, and other features. They were able to match it up over the phone and the results was amazing! The guys that came to install were right on time, and were able to get it up and installed perfectly. We have an antique wooden dining table that has a beautiful surface. I got tired of always keeping table cloths on it to protect it. Alivia at Central Glass discussed my request with me and gave me some options. Someone came and measured it, including the rounded corners. Alivia told me it might take as long as 3 weeks to get it, but they delivered it within a week! I'm delighted with the fit and quality. I had these clowns come to my house to give me an estimate on how much it will cost to replace my living room window, after paying almost $200 upfront they told me "in three days we will have my window and you'll have to pay the rest when we install it" I agreed, almost two weeks later I get a call saying they broke my glass that they ordered and it will take double the time to get a new one ordered and somehow they are saying it's not their fault.... Um why are you hiring people who can't do this job?? Then I was told there's nothing they can do to accommodate me other than giving me %5 off my next purchase.... worst and most embarrassing glass company I've ever worked with. Poor customer service! Office manager (Eddy) is very presumptive and doesn't listen to the problem. She speaks authoritatively with a company agenda first, then how much money they need to make and maybe will listen to what is being said. Their techs also don't follow through with specific instructions, needing a second visit and obligating the customer to pay yet another service call. This business works smart! Scheduler directed installers to my place after completing another job, before heading back to the shop. With glass, saw, and tools on board their truck, crew were able to measure, cut, replace and take payment under 20 minutes! Now that's efficient! read more

I have a coffee table that is wooden with two 24x26 inch glass squares that sit ontop level to the top of the table. My lovely dog decided to jump under my table, knock one of the glass squares out and shatter it. Thank god my dog didn't get hurt. I google something like "glass repair" and central glass popped up right away with one yahoo review(good) so naturally I looked them up on yelp to read other reviews. I found one good and one bad, there was only 2 reviews, so I was thinking it was a 50/50 chance of good service, Still I decided to give them a call. Over the phone they greeted me warmly, answered all my questions with no rush, and just really made me feel taken care of. I went right on down with the matching glass and they were so welcoming and helpful. Asking me if I wanted them to grab the glass form the car and just making sure I was taken care of from all angles. They got me in and out of there with my new glass in less than 15 minutes. I got home and teh glass fit perfectly! It was so nice actually that I'm thinking about getting my other side replaced just because. Oh, and very cheap only cost me $30. I'm the type of person that judges customer sevice very harshly and when I was so amazed at the service I got I knew I had to write a review! read more

Representatives from Central Glass came out today and served maintenance on my sliding glass door. Quick response time as I called yesterday and got a house call today. They were a bit later than the time told to me that morning, but I got a phone call explaining that they were running late and why, which is always appreciated. The two gentlemen were very professional, replaced the rollers and cleaned out the track in record time and for a reasonable price. read more

Customer service is terrible from the person answering the phone calls to male appointments to the person installing the glass. Just used them once and will never use them again. Also, labor is quite expensive. read more
