Yummy! Slight Lemon zest taste, feta flavor, with olives wings. I enjoyed! Service was phenomenal. 1/2 off appetizer options and cocktail specials. The truffle fries compliments the wings well.

Overall, pretty good food the pizza thingy that's not a pizza was absolutely delicious. However, I did not really enjoy the coleslaw that it came with because it actually tasted kind of wild without the buffalo sauce included with it.. The tuna salad was absolutely delicious, but there were some crunchy bits that were pretty tough to chew at times. It might've been portion of the cashews, but I think it was all right overall. Especially martinis were absolutely amazing. I don't think they're the best in the town but if you had a little bit of Bailey to it, it gives you a really nice texture and taste. The vibe is very chilled. Outdoor patio is pretty nice and warm if it's cooler out and it's good vibes. Service is very cool as well and the feeling of the restaurant is nice and cozy

The service was okay, it seem like our server kept forgetting about us. Sometimes when gratuity is already included, you don't get the best service. We waited almost 30 minutes to take our order then the food took forever and then the fries were cold, (which is an up charge) then they replaced with my cold fries I just said forget it. I then ordered the chicken wings they were okay but 5 wings for $17? Ridiculous not worth the price at all. I will probably not come back.

The manager and chef the most racist person I've met in a very long time !!

Worst experience the manager is clearly prejudice, rude, and extremely unprofessional. I will never return I witnessed her disrespect a young lady given an event at her establishment yesterday. The event was moved over to a different location, which turned out extremely well. I encourage all African-American not to spend one dollar at Central kitchen

I took my mom to Central Kitchen + Bar for brunch, and we loved it! I've been meaning to, and trying to, visit them since they opened (10 years ago!) but something always went awry. They weren't open, a friend had to cancel, the line was too long, and on and on and on. I'm so glad I finally (finally!) made it. The ambiance is warm and cosy, the service is prompt and friendly, and the food is yum, yum, yummy! My mom got the egg special and I got the French toast. Both dishes exceeded our expectations. I actually work right around the corner from Central Kitchen + Bar, so I hope to be back there soon.

Had such a great brunch here the day before the Detroit Marathon! It was right be the finish line area as we were looking around. We started with the lavender lemonade and blood orange spritz mocktails which were both delicious. We also ordered their fries with truffle and garlic dips. They were piping hot, a huge portion, and the dips were great. Easily could have split between 4-6 people. I ordered the huevos rancheros entree. The textures and composition of the dish were good, but the overall flavor was a bit bland. Even the salsa didn't have much flavor or spice. My friend ordered the Chef's Omelette which is different every weekend. This time it was a Chicken Parmesan Omelette which she enjoyed. Our server was attentive, friendly, and great! The restaurant is a fun mix of modern and old, with the high detailed ceilings. We had a higher two person booth near the bar but there were 6 person booths, tables, and an enclosed outside area.

Came in on busy opening day, we were sat almost immediately. Our server took a little while to come over but he was friendly. I ordered the smash burger 10/10 it came with home made chips 10/10. I also had a strawberry lemon drop 10/10. This restaurant isnsuoer cute. They play old-school r&b and it's nice. I will return.

Missy you need a class on professionalism!!!!

I hope this reviews reaches the owner of this establishment. The manager at this restaurant was totally out of order. I have never seen a manager behave in the matter this women did. She disrespected young woman and verbally insulted her in front of several of the patrons. I give so much respect to the young lady that was trying to give the event on Friday. I am an employer myself I would never treat anyone in the matter. Our patrons of our business help make us successful. As a business owner and or manager we have to do better and appreciate the people that patronize our businesses.

First timer here, went for Sunday brunch with a friend. It was busy but we were able to get seated without a reservation. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming. There is an outdoor patio seating area. The staff were friendly and attentive. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and it was not what I expected. I thought I ordered the wrong thing because it looked like a quesadilla. When I took my first bite, I was amazed by all the flavors blending together. It was delicious and full of flavor. I loved it, especially topped with the fresh cilantro and crema. I don't know why I was expecting like a breakfast bowl/ skillet situation. The side of potatoes were delightful. I didn't need them but they were seasoned well and worth it. My friend ordered the Smoked Salmon Flatbread. I tried it, it was good. Topped with arugula and dill cream sauce was refreshing. You can tell that the ingredients are fresh. I truly enjoyed my meal and the DJ was icing on the cake. Overall, 10 out of 10 so far, I look forward to trying other items on the menu.

I loved my brunch experience here today!! Great music and excellent service. Everyone was so nice and attentive. True teamwork. Fabulous vibe! Wonderful food. I really enjoyed my Huevos Rancheros and my friend's omelette was fantastic too. Great location in downtown Detroit. Indoor and outdoor seating. If you're looking for a great time, come here.

I love Central Kitchen + Bar, great location and design and it is ALWAYS a vibe in there! I went for a group event on a Saturday for a brunch and the energy was unmatched. The service was top tier, as the staff serviced our large group perfectly. I didn't each much, but what I did have was very good. The Salmon Croquette was delicious, nice flavor. The Potatoes were good, could have used just a little bit more seasoning in my opinion. Lastly, the Peach Cobbler Crepes were very good! Must get when I go again.

This was the PERFECT dinner location during the Detroit Grand Prix weekend - we got a table in the sunroom space outside of the main restaurant, and had both a great view and could clearly hear the opening performer for the Sat night concert in Cadillac Square. Perhaps not for everyone (it was loud) but we loved it! Food was overall pretty good! American/Internationally inspired fare, more elevated than a standard bar menu. Our party of 4 shared the truffle fries and broccolini to start, both of which were yum. I got the Mushroom Dip sandwich, which was good but a little salty! Good mushrooms though. Also tried my husband's Chicken Shawarma salad and my friend's Ahi Tuna salad. Both hit the spot, but maybe not my absolute favorite versions of these dishes. Not a huge menu but it felt like there were definitely options for many different tastes! And definitely hit the spot.

Shrimp tacos with chips and salsa. The tacos were a little dry and bland. $22 plus they automatically add 20% tip. Not worth it.

Here is the lay of the land: Check in at the little red table in the center of the outdoor courtyard if you want "full service". - which means eating and drinking at a table with wait staff. It is not seat yourself at the outdoor tables, like we originally thought. There is a nice sized bar indoors and seating at the bar is first come first served. We ordered several of the small plate "snacks" and I can tell you that the hummus is not to be missed. It is served with (homemade?) tortilla chips that are absolutely addictive. They have lots of choices for wine, beer, and cocktails. Towards the back entrance of the property, there is a drink truck where you can also order "walkaway" food and drinks. Not entirely sure where you sit with the food/drinks you order, as most of the seating seemed reserved for full service. Additionally, there is a photo booth for pics (long line) and Warda Patisserie is right next door and accessible through a garden walkway.

The inside restaurant area is also beautiful. We wanted to sit inside at the bar, so we waited for some seats to open up. If you want to sit outside, all you have to do is order at the bar and they'll serve your drinks in plastic cups for you to take outside. The rhubarb pie punch was so delicious I had to order it twice! Probably one of my favorite cocktails I've ever had. I also ordered the maurixio cattelan, which tasted like ginger ale. For a snack before dinner, we chose to get the burrata and it was so refreshing. The service was great and our bartender was super friendly! The logo with the little lamb is adorable. I bought one of their wine glasses with their logo on it too for just $10.

The theme was "Yes, Chef: An exploration of culinary icons through a cocktail lens." Each drink was inspired by or dedicated to a famous culinary icon, and you can read about each one in the index. We each ordered one drink from each section. From the Opening, I chose the Diaspora Club, which was so refreshing and delicious. Then from the Principals, I chose the Chingona, which was a little bit spicy and savory but still so refreshing. To Finish, I chose the Chocolatier Cosmo, which came with a tiny house-made salted dark chocolate. I loved all three cocktails I ordered, especially the chocolatier cosmo because it was perfectly sweet and went so well with the small piece of chocolate. For food, we started off with the crispy pork belly milk bread. For my entree, I ordered the miso butter gnocchi. It was kind of on the salty side but I still really liked it. The apple sofrito added a bit of sweetness to it. For dessert, we had to get the rhubarb coffee cake, which came with strawberry ice cream. Omg one of the best desserts I've ever had!! I never thought of combining cinnamon coffee cake with rhubarb or strawberry but it's perfect, and I might have to make something like that soon. Service was great and we were seated right away at 8pm on a Saturday despite not having a reservation. Food and drinks came out promptly and timed perfectly. We spent about 1.5 hours here and we never felt rushed.

Between the two of us we had the beet salad, burger and steak tartare. Burger was good, but not the best smash burger that I've had. Beet salad was fine, however the cream cheese was a bit overpowering against the orange oil. It was dying for some citrus. Steak tartare was a bit dry, meaning that a small dab of olive oil would have added to the richness and overall mouth feel. I did not really taste the egg although I did see a dab of yolk on the tartare. Needed a bit of salt also to enhance the taste Menu was small, but it did cover a cross section of French bistro dishes. All in all, I thought it was a bit overpriced. So I will have to consider returning for a full meal. I would come back for a burger and beer at the bar.
