After that was complete, I assumed the Doctor would come in a few minutes after since there was no wait and was the only person in the office area. After waiting for 43 minutes in the patient room, NO CONTACT WITH ANYONE ABOUT THE WAIT TIME. At 9:30am I had to open the door and ask the nurse at the front desk how much longer?? She said another 15 minutes because the Doctor was with a patient, mind you I had an appointment scheduled to avoid this type of wait time and the app said that nobody was ahead of me in the scheduling time slot. At 9:48am, the doctor strolls in. No introduction as to who she is and no apologies about the wait time. Then goes to tell me I just need to stretch due to my serve back pain and can barley bend over to attempt to touch my toes. No common curtesy of wasting my time when I had to be at work for 10am, WHICH WAS A 20 MINUTE DRIVE. This is why I even scheduled an 8:30am appointment to make it to work on time. After "diagnosing" after a 3 minute appointment, I walk out and one of the nurses is just taking a casual nap at the nurses station!! What joke this place is!! COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND SO UNPROFESSIONAL!! THIS LOCATION IS AWFUL. AVOID THIS PLACE IF POSSIBLE!! THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST EXPEIRENCE AT AN URGENT CARE I HAVE EVER HAD. ZERO STARS !!!!!!!!!

Even difficult situations I observed with some patients having issues with not having their required paperwork or being non-compliant with pre-op procedures; everyone was handled professionally, with practicality and with their safety in mind. Really beautiful people and a dedicated team that shines. My procedure, which I had been dreading, was over in a breeze and I had top notch care.

I was seen right away by a very professional nurse & my vitals were taken & she inquired about the reason for my visit. The doctor sent me in for an X-ray prior to seeing me. Dr McDonald then explained he didn't see any major injury but after questioning me, was concerned about a possible blood clot. He then referred me to the ER to rule out this possibility of a blood clot & further suggested I see an orthopedist for the knee pain From beginning to end the care I received was thorough & professional. This is the worst medical facility I have ever been to. First the scheduling person told me that I…read morewould need to fast from all liquids for six hours prior to the MRI. This was not true. I found out as soon as I can got there that I could have drunk water the entire day; I was only to fast from food. Going 6 hours for a person who takes several dehydrating medications was bad & it hurt the MRI procedure because I was so dehydrated the nurse couldn't find a vein to give me contrasting dye. She ended up poking me multiple times, giving me several bruises & finally decided to do the MRI, without contrast first & decided to do the second one, with contrasting, later. When she tried injecting me with the solution, she again poked me several times until she finally found a vein but not without both arms bruised, swollen & leaving me in pain. The MRI itself was the worst I have ever had (& I've had several due to severe back issues). They couldn't hear me screaming out to lower the volume because the headphones thundering in my ear, playing beating drugs, while someone to breath in & out for what was close to an hour & 1/2 (& they told me the entire process should only take 30 minutes. I left dehydrated, with a migraine headache, & looking like a junkie. If the process weren't bad enough, the radiologist's results were totally bogus. His report said I clearly had a 7 mm cyst, tumor, or stone on my ampulla (connecting the bile ducts to the pancreas) so it was necessary for me to have a very expensive procedure where they found absolutely nothing! There was NO 7mm anywhere on my ampulla. So this radiologist was totally incompetent. It was an uncomfortable & unnecessary procedure. I was talked into using this place by my insurance company, who claimed it would save me 500.00 but ended up costing 10 times that! I will never take their bad advice again! Go anywhere else to have your MRI! This was one of my worst medical decisions & experiences.

They have many residents that are training through UMass that accompany doctors in appointments and take appointments. I've seen residents twice when I needed an appointment at short notice and they were great. I've never had a problem here, Dr. Carlson made me feel very comfortable when coming in the first time. The office is in a great location, and everyone is very nice and helpful. I definitely recommend.
