The regular Pedicure was done by Carolina who did fantastic job and it's holding up very well. She was gental and made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. The gel manicure was done by someone else let's call her "specialist". Someone else started to remove my nail polish and then when my nails were ready I was handed off to the "specialist". The manicure had started falling apart the next day it started to chip. One of my nails had been cut in the side and poorly covers up. Pictures now it had been under four days. The cuticles and around nail was not properly cleaned and "specialist" was rough while working with tools. I told her that my fingers getting hot and she chosen to ignore. Further more I was handles roughly and she was keep telling me to relax but I was unable to relax when I am waiting to be hurt which happened several times. The place is clean, COVID safe, prices are great and other women working there do great job:) I will know not go to "Japanese specialist" (no name tag)at this salon and advice you not use her either. read more

I am home visiting my parents in NJ and wanted to get my nails done. I saved a bunch of places from Yelp but ultimately decided to go to Central Nails to either use their $27 mani/pedi promo or the $45 gel/mani pedi offer. I came on a Monday around 5pm and had no wait (which I think is typically not normal based on my conversation with the owner). They did a great job on my mani (typically I avoid doing one and opt for SNS or gel) but it's been 4 days and I only have a very minor chip on my nails due to my own doing I'm sure. Great staff, super friendly. I'll be telling my mom to come here for her treats now! I didn't get the very quick neck massage after my pedi because I switched nail technicians for my mani so that was a bit disappointing but not a reason to not go back. Also, PLEASE OVER TIP because the prices are amazing here. read more

The pricing in reasonable and they do a good job, in addition the environment in the salon is comforting. I showed her a design I wanted and with no hesitation she started working on it. I just got 5 star treatment! I went with a friend for the first time. We had extraordinary service. Leidy and Xaida were our attendants, fabulous job. We both got mani cure and pedicure ($27) and left amazed by the professionalism and high level of care the staff had. The ladies doing the pedicure and manicures are so nice and gentle. I loved every minute of it. The chairs have massage functions which is a nice touch. You can upgrade all your treatments with special scrubs and moisturizers for a higher price. The regular one is just as luxurious. I had a fantastic experience. The place itself is very clean. Very quiet and relaxing. I would definitely come back here, I love my experience. 5 stars to the staff as they were super friendly and attentive. If you are a returning client you should get the punch card and fill it up for free treatment. I would definitely come back her and bring friends! love this place!!! read more

The only place in the area who waxed my eyebrows correctly (and won't argue with me about it). The salon is clean and the owners are super friendly. I had an excellent pedicure here but a little unimpressed with the gel manicure (if it's not hitting my cuticles I am not happy as my nails grow fast). i've been coming here for many years, and the girls are through the nails have become so rude. They speak to each other in Spanish without realizing that some of us to understand what they're saying. They used to be so sweet when I tell the owner who I've known for years that they're really saying things they don't realize the customers are saying she thinks I don't understand them. I've been coming here for at least 15 years, but I am totally done. And I used to tip those girls so much just to try and help them because I know they work hard but honestly they've become extremely rude. I got my eyebrows waxed there today. The wax wasn't hot enough when I was done and pointed out that I still had a lot of hair in those areas the lady told me I would have to wait till she was done giving someone else a gel manicure and then she was booked the rest of the day so she couldn't help me fix it. I was there yesterday for mani-pedi. I expected, as in the past, mask protocols would be followed, given the fact their was a big sign stating that. Nope. After the 4th unmasked person came in, I called Julie over. She is putting not only her customers, but her staff at risk. She shrugged her shoulders. Needless to say, it was not a relaxing experience at all. I really should have left as soon as first person came in maskless.That will be my last visit. She put $ over her customers' health. And the women heard me, and still remained maskless. Which is why our numbers are climbing. People don't care. It's only on the news 24/7. I hope I don't get sick, or pass it on to anyone. It's hard to find a good nail salon in the area as it is but this has to be the worst manicure I've ever gotten. Not only were they not communicating effectively but didn't bother to understand what I was trying to explain either (rounded vs. squared, thickness, pretty simple stuff). On top of that, it was far more expensive than stated. I wouldn't mind priciness if the quality and service was there. I soaked it off when I got home because it was so poorly done and now have to find another place to get the rest off. What a waste of $ and time! read more

There is a reason that they are empty on a Saturday morning. Not sure why everyone is raving about Xaida. Not only did she do a terrible job painting my nails but she was lacking hygienic etiquette. My nails were bubbled as she finished up. I chose a light color and it looked like I had holes on my nails bc of the terrible application. They chipped the same day. She was sneezing, sweating, wiping her face, nose, and coughing all over me. I asked her if she was ok and if she needed a minute. I understand we all get allergies or sick but please use some hand sanitizer after or step away. I wouldn't mind but she was doing all of this then rubbing lotion (and her germs) into my hands. I have children at home. I'm good in the bacteria department. Service overall was just really poor. Waste of money read more

So the pedicure was okay. The massage was short and most places use a paraffin wax for the heel even for a regular pedicure, but it wasn't bad. The manicure was not great. My nails were not filed evenly, unfortunately I did not notice until left. The nail polish was put on as if painting in two different directions. Bubbles in the nail polish. The nail polish should also be opaque, and not so see through. Eyebrows were okay. I think I'll probably check a few other places out before giving this place another chance.
