I cannot speak enough nice things about the staff here, and especially Annie, my nail technician. I always receive a warm welcome from the owners (I believe they are the owners, a husband and wife duo. I might be wrong). I was getting a gel manicure and needed to have the old gel buzzed/smoothed off first. Lawdy - was I a hot mess when I heard that drill. At first, the husband started my manicure (they can get super busy), and saw I was freaking out with the drill. I've had bad experiences at other salons when nail techs either don't pay attention or don't care, and too many times I've had my skin buzzed. NOT fun! So yeah, I'm a bit traumatized. Anyway, he was super nice but I was crying and sweating so the wife stepped in. She was super nice and explained that the filing down was necessary and she didn't want my nails to get spoiled. She was attentive with that drilly filer and everything was nicely evened out. Then I got Annie. Annie was looking at each nail, clipping as needed. THIS is the attention to detail you want during a manicure. She really took the time to make sure I got an even, healthy and beautiful manicure. So I called this place around 3:30 and asked if they have any available appointments. The guy on the phone asked me what would I like? I said a pedicure a full set and eyebrows he said when I said now he said come I got there in 12 minutes. Very nice Ppl pedicure Absolutely beautiful well now it's time for me to get my nails done and the lady informed me that they don't have time. What do you mean you don't have time I'm I called. They said everything was fine. She said no no just pedicure. I said that's not what I said on the phone she asked who answered the phone. I pointed to the gentleman he goes. Oh I didn't know for one. Why do you have someone answering the phone that doesn't know what they're doing for two how dare you turn away a customer who's already there paying so overall I would never go back. The best manicure and pedicure for the price (regularly $30; Monday to Wednesday, special price, $26) hands down. For their pedicure, you get the works. They do a honey scrub, paraffin wax for your heels, oil massage and hot stone. You get the honey scrub and massage for your mani, as well. You can choose from a wide selection of color, types and brands of polish, including OPI and my favorite Essie. They also have decent massage chairs. Great customer service. Went for a scheduled gel manicure. The woman doing my nails didn't soak my fingers, didn't touch my cuticles, used an electric file to prep my nails and basically applied color, and sent me on my way telling me repeatedly it was $30. I was done in 15 minutes. She also filed my nails shorter then necessary leaving one of my nails with a sharp rounded edge when the rest of my nails were all square. I could have done a better job at home honestly for significantly less money. Not worth it to come here. Not relaxing at all. read more

Wouldn't ever recommend going here towards the end of the day! I went for a mani pedi at 4 pm and was drying nails around 5.45 pm on Saturday and suddenly one lady said - your nails are dry. I said - I want to stay for 2 more mins. A second lady then said - we have to leave. And then another came and just switched off the dryer and said - you are done. Never encountered such rude behavior. I was only going to stay for a min or two more. It was 5.50 pm, and if they were looking to close before 6 pm, the owner could have come over and explained (as a side note - their closing time for Saturdays is listed as 6.30 pm on their door, on their FB page, and also on Google). The approach they chose just left such a bad taste in my mouth, when all along I had a great mani-pedi up to that point. I have been going to this place for years and have always loved their service, but this behavior was totally uncalled for. read more

let me start off by saying I normally get my Gel French tip manicures for 35 dollars. I asked for a pedicure with French tip. Regular pedicure with French tip was 32 dollars, I then asked for how much gel French tip would be, it was double that amount (64). I told them to forget about the pedicure and just give me a 10 minute message for 15 dollars and a cut. They must've misunderstood me and charged me for a pedicure even though I didn't get ANY POLISH, just a cut. I DIDN'T EVEN GET THE MESSAGE. They charged me 30 dollars for cutting my toe nails and taking off old polish. are you kidding me??? if you want to get ripped off this is the spot to go to! I tried to explain that I didn't even get the message at that point, I only got my nails cut! Spanish staff is amazing! Very welcoming and nice. I wish I knew the name of the Spanish lady who did my pedicure. HOWEVER, Asian lady who did my manicure was SO RUDE. I wanted to try powder because I've heard good things about it. She was so against it and kept trying to convince me to get the gel even though I kept saying I wanted to try the powder. She was very rough while doing my manicure and at the end kept shaking her head at my nails and telling me the gel is better and she goes "I told you gel better but you wanted me to do this so I did". Like....it's MY NAILS... I choose what I want and it's up to me do decide whether I like it or not. I felt like she didn't even try to do a good job. Then I asked if it was ok to put my shoes back on she goes "take those ok goodbye" while pointing to the foam slippers I had on. So I walked out with the slippers and almost slipped on the road. I ended up just having to take them off and walk BAREFOOT to my car. I still tipped because of my own principles but I felt so mistreated. I always have a great experience when I get my nails done here. I moved out of state and when I come home to visit I stop in. Very friendly staff and an extensive polish collection! They offer so many things in their pedicures that other salons would charge for as additional. Long massage with hot stones, paraffin treatment for your heels and a good shoulder massage after your manicure. I've had many of the ladies do my nails there and everyone is great! I am visiting my in laws from Michigan, and I was in dire need of a mani/pedi. I looked at the reviews for the places close by and this place looked like the best option. I was surprised they were able to get me in so quickly in a Saturday. This place was like a factory, everything ran very quickly. I came in and was immediately escorted to a chair for my pedicure. The pedicure included hot stone massage on the legs and paraffin on the heels, which I have seen as an upsell other places. I then had the gel manicure, they had many selections from several different brands. The manicure was good, and fast. I don't spoil myself as often as I should but when I get a pedicure this place is my jam. If you want a combo mani/pedi Mon-Wed it's $29. It's a little pricier than some other places that do the $25 combo but IMO totally worth it. The ladies are nice, don't talk about you in other languages, and do a good job! Pedi's come with a hot stone rub down which is awesome...I've never had any weird issues from going here either, no ingrown nails or weird nail discolorations. I don't recall if I've ever had a manicure here before but in general I'm not a fan, all manicures chip too easily and it hurts my back to sit that long with my hands being messed with--first world problems I know. I'm not sure if they still do it, but when I had been here previously if you pay cash they give you a little card with a credit--it's minimal like .30 or something but if you get your nails done often it can really add up, I don't see anywhere else giving mani-pedi rewards. Hit or a miss. Depends on the day or the time of day you go in as a walk in. I always go for pedicures, and I have had awesome ones that came with a relaxing massage and scrub and good paint job, and then a nice back massage at the end, but there have also been a few times when it's been a complete rush job and I don't get nearly as much attention ...
