My family recently took our puppy to Central Paw grooming shop for a grooming and we absolutely loved it! We were greeted right away upon entering the shop by a very friendly woman who checked my dog in and took her back. The check in process was very easy and we were notified as soon as she was ready to be picked up. My puppy looked amazing and smelled amazing! The best part of all was that my dog was groomed in a very reasonable time. She was in and out within a couple hours. We have been to some other shops near downtown Naperville where my dog was left sitting in a cage for hours. We're talking a 9AM drop off and a 3PM pick up. That was NOT the case at Central Paw. I'm typically not the type of person that leaves reviews but have been having a hard time finding a good groomer that is semi local and has good reviews. Most of the places I've seen on-line have had some really bad reviews. My dog is my baby and need her to be well taken care of when she is not at home. She gets very nervous anytime she is separated from the family but did not have any issues here. I have tried several places but I know this is the ONE!!! This place was fantastic. I have never left a review on Yelp before, but Central Paw Grooming deserves 5 stars! I brought in my 10 month old Cocker Spaniel and they did the best job with him. Abby had him out in 2 hours flat looking so handsome. I even had special requests about how I wanted his hair cut and she followed everything absolutely perfectly. When I picked him up he was a happy dog (which has never happened before) and he had the cutest bandanna around his neck. Everyone keeps telling us how adorable he looks and I couldn't agree more. I recently took my Golden Retriever to Abbie, at Club Pooch Pet Salon. She was very professional and thorough when booking my appointment. The shop was very clean and calming. Abbie, greeted my dog and he immediately liked her...that was a great feeling! I picked up my dog and he was not stressed and looked great! The teeth brushing, nail trim, bath and grooming all looked wonderful. His paws were nicely detailed and he had no cuts on him. We have the most neurotic, skittish dog. She doesn't even like going for rides in the car. So when my daughter & son-in-law said they were bringing her to Club Pooch Pet Salon for a bath and brushing I told them they were crazy. Well, not only did she get a much needed bath and brushing, but, Abbie trimmed her nails and fur between her pads. She came home looking and smelling beautiful! I have been taking my little dog to Abbie for several years! Toby can sense that he is going to get his haircut and gets nervous. But once we are there he loves the great care he gets from the groomers there. They always do a great job, and he looks great and smells great too. I have been looking for a new groom shop for my two dogs I have a German Sheppard Bernese Mountain dog mix and a pure bred Miniature daxson. Its not easy finding someone as versatile as Abbie she was able to bathe and groom my big dog who hates being groomed as well as bathe and trim my little dogs nails who bites and scratches me when i try and both behaved exceptionally well for Abbie she must be a dog whisperer or something. Omg best groomer. Abbie was so gentle. My little guy had no burns from the clippers, and she did a great job...I normally hesitate to take him because he comes out shaking and I find clipper marks on him but not here. I hesitated to leave a good review because then she be booked but I figure she prolly needs it since she had time open. read more

I took my westie puppy at a different groomer before and he came out looking like a schnauzer. Club Pooch listened to all my requests as to how i want my puppy's haircut should be. Very pleased with the dog grooming at Central Paw. It was the first time using Central Paw because the old groomer wasn't able to set any appointment times in the forseeable future. Dealt with Ashley to set the appointment. There are 3 groomers at this location so future appointments should be easier to get. read more
