Debbie was awesome to work with and helped walk us through how to choose the right fixtures. Some of the info we needed wasn't online, so she helped us navigate it all with a list of parts needed at the end. Unfortunately the manufacturer had the tub we wanted on backorder which led us to go elsewhere, however I wouldn't have known what to buy if not for these guys. Would come here again in a heartbeat.

We purchased floor tiles and backsplash tiles. When the time came to pick up the floor tiles at the warehouse we were given the wrong tiles. We noticed once we got home and opened the boxes. When we called, they said the warehouse was closing in 30 mins, that we had to wait until Monday and we were alright with that. We just asked that they confirm the correct ones were in stock and they reassured us. Come Monday when we got to the warehouse and took the sample we had with us, they said it was an old tile and that they no longer had it. They gave us a sample of a different tile to take home. We chose to go with that tile and when we went to the warehouse the third time - we were once again given the wrong one. The same wrong ones we were given the first time. They didn't have the tiles of the 2nd sample they had given us either. In the end we decided to just stay with that one. We then decided to return the backsplash tiles and were told there was a 25% restocking fee - when prior to purchasing everything we were always told we could return anything we didn't use without any mention of a fee. When we came to the store and tried to explain all the difficulties we experienced the manager/owner, Anthony, came out, cut us off, and said the fee was non-negotiable, take it or leave it. In the end the salesman who worked with us from the start, Manny, took care of us. But it was overall a very unpleasant experience. Just think twice maybe thrice before purchasing anything here. It seems like they make up prices for items that they don't even have labeled nor are they aware of what is or isn't in stock in their warehouse. The service is very poor and Anthony is uncompromising and very disrespectful. I honestly felt as women they treated us differently, but I haven't personally seen how they treat men.

"XYZ" Company, promised the stars and the moon back then- but a week+ job turned into almost a month. And when my husband expressed discontent, he'd assured us around that time, he would fix his mistakes- yada yada yada. He wanted full payment and considering his lack of bathroom remodeling skills, hubby cut him loose way before he finished. Thought about taking legal action, but it actually cost more than the bathroom itself. And considering what we went through, a DIY wasn't in the plans- either. So here we are dishing $$$$$$$$$.] ********************************************** All this to say what? We turned a new page and are presently working with an excellent, all-inclusive bathroom contractor who takes care of everything that has to do with renovating our bathroom. Our new contractor had to rip and gut out all of the original contractor's work. Mind you, he and his men are indeed professionals, they pinpointed all the disaster done by that a**hole. Our new contractor provided my husband with a written contract, detailing step by step work to be done and prices to match for our bath. Not to mention, our contractor works closely with Quality Tile. Hubby and I, have been eyeing an on-trend bathroom design from the get-go. So when I came to Quality Tile, it was a matter of selecting shower tiles and floor preferences also. And by the way- quality and prices are great. Both my visits with one of their employees- Peter, was fantastic. He took his time and most of all- was patient as I tried to wrap my head around tile size and style. While on the subject, if you want the best results, stop by. I like doing my sh*t face to face and avoid phone calls as much as possible. But I do understand it may not be easy for folks to come here, but you'll obviously get a better glimpse of tiles up close when you're ready to purchase! So why am I posting all this info here? Because that a**hole doesn't have a Yelp page- nor will I create one for him and primarily alert other homeowners to keep all eyes if you're sensing something's way off with your contractor. Maybe I'm being a bit too eager without our bathroom being finished yet- but our new guys are keeping us in the loop every single step of the way. Hubby and I are really into these guys and their professionalism! And they're bringing it twice-fold!! Listen- for the sake of my safety and my home- I thought about mentioning "XYZ's" name and company's name here and just bring him down. But you know what...I won't. Because karma is gonna get his ass real good! These guys at Quality Tile, have a nice selection of Shower and Bathroom floor Tiles- including backsplashes. Based on my recent personal experience, I unfortunately have to agree with all the negative…read morereviews. 1. Pressure to put down a deposit -- do NOT do it unless your design is final. They will push you hard to pay a deposit to "lock in" a price. In reality, any change to your initial design--no matter how small--results in a higher quote, and they will not provide any breakdown to justify the increases. You're left with two choices: accept the added cost on faith, or walk away and lose your deposit. There is no actual price lock. 2. Promises that aren't reflected in writing. The owner, Fatih, may verbally assure you that you can recover half of your deposit if you decide not to move forward during the design phase. Insist on getting everything in writing before paying anything. Once you receive the written terms (which only show up after you've sent the deposit if you let them rush you), you'll find that you are not entitled to any refund if you ever request your design--whether for review, record-keeping, or any legitimate purpose. Unsurprisingly, none of this is mentioned before they take your money. 3. Poor communication once they have your deposit. After paying, be prepared to chase them. I repeatedly had to send multiple emails and make follow-up calls just to receive a one-line response. And after these delays, they will inform you that your "locked-in" price is about to expire unless you finalize your order within a couple of days--again with no refund of your deposit if you don't. 4. Vague and non-specific documentation. The price they claim you've "locked in" only applies to an undefined "as-per-design" reference--without details. If you don't have a copy of the design, I'm not sure how you could ever prove what you supposedly locked in. They avoid putting anything concrete in writing, making it nearly impossible to hold them accountable. That alone should be a major red flag. I made the mistake of trusting this business based on a recommendation from someone I know. I hope that sharing my experience helps others avoid the same situation.

The owner himself came to our house multiple times (initial measurements, double checking, partial installation, complete installation, follow-up, etc.) to make sure everything was going well. One time, when a third-party cabinet supplier forgot to include a side panel in the initial shipment, the owner handpicked a virtually perfect match from some unrelated stock and just gifted it to us so that we could cut it and apply it to our island in time for a huge party we were having at our house that weekend, and we got the actual panel shortly after that. They've got a great selection of cabinetry, hardware, and countertop material, in addition to some other stuff. It's been 13 months now since installation was complete, and we're still in a state of shock about how beautiful the whole thing is every time we walk into the kitchen. I could not recommend them more strongly.

Front of store usually houses rotating seasonal items. They have a wide variety of kitchen/storage and other less hardware centric consumer items. Oscar and the painting section crew are great with custom colors and color matching. Being able to pick up a quart of a custom color has been very helpful for me over the years. Steve and the other hardware/store crew are always good at answering my random questions, leading me in the right direction. The checkout staff always changes, but employees are consistently nice.

Foley's had BETTER PRICE than the Supermarket!…read more I decided to buy a Fix-A-Flat tire repair product for my son (who had a flat the week before) I went to my local supermarket, found Fix-A-Flat priced at $14, but figured Foley's might have it...and I like to patronize local businesses when possible. Turned out it was $12, two dollars cheaper, at Foley's, but I realized something else: Auto care, tools, and garden supplies are bread-and-butter to a hardware store, while they're just convenience items for a supermarket: stores like Foley's have to be well-stocked, and have knowledgeable staff who can answer questions. So now I will make Foley's my first choice for tools, because they know them best. But don't worry, supermarkets in Larchmont and Mamaroneck: If Foley's starts selling carrots and cauliflowers, I'll still buy them from you.
