She got up very rude, rolled her eyes and went to change HER options. Not ours, her commission options. No special prescription very basic. Never once was I told I was paying for a warranty which is $30 extra. I only noticed when I got home. I'm disgusted by the service. The employee was like a used car salesman. I brought them in to see if they could straighten them for her so I could take them to her at the hospital. I was worried if I tried I might break the frame because they are so thin. Raylee was working and she explained that she would try but if they broke I would need to order a new frame. I was so worried because my Mom can only see out of one eye now and Visionworks had put a special lens in these glasses because she's color blind in the good eye. She needs them to see at all. Raylee took her time and was able to straighten them and she also put new nose pads on them. When she gave the repaired glasses back to me in a new case I started to cry. She stepped out from behind the counter and gave me a hug. Thank you for caring...you have no idea how much I needed something to go right and you made sure that happened!

I tried bi-focals and didn't like them. Melissa talked to the optometrist and got me a single vision prescription without me going back (almost three hours round trip.) None of these things apply to Advanced: I have NEVER experienced such great care. Advanced wants to get it right for you and they will--that's their promise and they live up to it. Additionally, they are fun people to work with. I love their extremely broad choice of styles. I've also had some issues with my frames after I totally crushed them when they fell out of my bag, and they were able to fix them on the spot. They also are really great about living up to warranties and getting that sorted in a timely manner. I highly recommend these folks for a great small business in the Valley that gets it right on all levels!

The office informed us that the decision was made after my wife posted an honest review about her experience. I was never given the opportunity to be seen, and my appointment was canceled even though I had done nothing wrong. It was disappointing to have my care affected because a family member shared feedback about her own visit. Canceling an established patient's appointment under these circumstances was frustrating and forced me to start over with another provider, delaying my eye care. I believe patients should be able to leave honest reviews without worrying that they or their family members will lose access to care. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this practice. Patients deserve to be treated fairly, even when they express concerns or criticism.
