Central Power has one of the most professional electricians that I know here in Las Vegas. We had some electrical issues with our house which we purchased almost 2 years ago now. Our house is about 25 years old now. We had called other electricians before to look into our electrical problem but none of them could give us a clear answer or solution and would charge us just to come to our house and do some kind of electrical diagnosis of some sort and other nonsense work they would do. We finally contacted Central Power and George came to our house and assisted us in a very professional and friendly manner. We explained to him that we kept on having flickering lights all over the house and that sometimes our TV's and other appliances in the house would seem like they would lose power or something. He tested many electrical points inside and outside the house and managed to find the problem after about 20 minutes or so. George explained to us that there were two main wires in the main power box that was very hard to spot unless several and proper troubleshooting steps were performed, (which he took the time to do so), which were causing fuses to burn and supplied dirty unstable electrical flow to the house. He informed us that those wires had been damaged for a while and luckily did not cause a major short circuit that could have caused a fire or damage other electrical components in the house. He gave us an estimate of how much he would charge us ahead of time. He said he would do all the work needed which was fixing those 2 wires, replacing several fuses, and pretty much do an overhaul in the main power box for only $175. We could not say no to that! He finished in a very timely manner and worked very clean. Our lights are now brighter than ever, our appliances work flawlessly and we could not be more happier and satisfied with his service than that. TLDR: Great service call, professional, and done right. Details: We contacted Central Power to have an address light power line tested and the light replaced, and had a utility room light fixture installed. Neither job was an emergency. The first visit was next day. George promptly and professionally evaluated our requirements and sent us a clear estimate. He worked with us on details and price, and we were comfortable setting up an appointment. Eddie came promptly at the appointed time, was friendly, professional, and cared about the impact of his work on our home. Eddie did a great job, ensuring our voltage to our address sign was constant and correct, then installed it quickly. He also placed plastic above to catch debris as he cut a hole for our new light fixture, and swept up as he was wrapping up. Both jobs were completed in one visit, and done correctly. I will request George and Eddie for future electrical work. No one on staff asked us to make this review, or sway our characterization of their work. You remember that time you weren't sure if (Electrical issue that looks easy on Youtube but will kill you...) could be repaired or replaced? All the other companies on Yelp were responsive and polite...but all said I needed a replacement, sight unseen. I appreciated the pleasant conversations but still thought the under cabinet lighting could possibly be repaired. Along comes George, working during the holiday week, to check it out. He was in and out in about 20 minutes leaving the existing light hung. I didn't even know at the time how affordable his services are. I cannot tell you how pleased we were with the service from Central Power. We originally found them through Craiglist. George, the owner, sent Alphonso (not sure of the spelling) and Angel. We needed one chandelier, with a very high ceiling, "turned on." It turned out that this unit had 2 switches that turned it on and off. The handyman that originally hung the unit literally could not screw in the light bulbs. Nor could he get the switches working. Alphonso and Angel scoped it out and made it work. They also hung another chandelier for us on this call. And their fees were very reasonable. We will definitely be hiring them again to do more electrical work. read more

We received terrific service from Central Power Electric! George called and set an appointment for service, and from start to finish we were done in less than a day! Mario and Angel provided the work, friendly, fast and clean! Had 5 smoke alarms replaced and the chandelier electrical mount in ceiling replaced after taking the chandelier down and rehanging. Work was performed at 14' and 15' heights respectively. The reasonable price for the work was so appreciated, no hesitation even needed.
