He had strong communication skills to explain in detail what we could accomplish and what we should expect. He worked diligently, and in a timely manner to finish adding a NEW fan with NEW JUNCTION BOX, And switching out 2 existing pendant lights that we already had. We then asked for his help to ADD 2 more fans and junction boxes in another room which he completed with ease and percission. He was clean and extremely careful in the work that he completed. Chris from Fowler Electric has done a great job hanging chandeliers, kitchen lights and changed all of our recessed lighting. Chris is an excellent electrician and worked extremely hard putting together both chandeliers which was very time consuming, especially hanging each crystal one by one. Chris truly cares about his customers and is extremely honest and gave us excellent input before we bought the chandeliers. Tech showed up on time day of appointment to give me the estimate on some electrical work. super nice guy. took measurements and quoted me a ball park price that was on the high side of what i expected but still not outrageous. said he'd send a real quote/estimate for the work by end of the day. I'm very unhappy with the experience I had hiring Fowler Electric. Their technician, Brandon, came out last week and said he didn't have the equipment needed, so he would be back the following week. I had no problem with him and I appreciated his candor. Unfortunately, he was unavailable on the day of our appointment the following week so I instead received a visit from Michael Lewis and Trey Butrico. Although I had initially been quoted $85 an hour from Brandon, I was surprised at the end of the day to be quoted significantly more since I had to pay the wages of both Michael and Lewis, despite never having requested two electricians. I did not negotiate and simply paid what they asked for since they had already completed the work. I figured that would be the end of it, until I received a call from Michael the following morning at 6:40 AM. He believed that he had forgotten his wallet in my home and asked me to look for it. I looked around but did not find it, so he said it may be in the attic and asked if he could come look for it himself. I asked if he could come on Monday as I'd be unavailable until then. He would not take no for an answer and said he would come to my home that day, then hung up the phone. In total, he called me three times while growing increasingly angry. This was an incredibly unprofessional experience; the requested technician did not show up, I had to pay extra for their trainee, and finally the technician that did come tried to intimidate me because of something out of my control. If you're considering hiring Folwer Electric, I would advise against it. Don't risk letting these people into your home. read more

Made numerous calls to the number provided to schedule an appointment for a quote. Always received the voicemail. Okay, maybe it's COVID and nobody is in the office. Went to Yelp and saw you can make an appointment through the app. A calendar pops up with available days and times. It was about 9:00 am on 21 December when I'm doing this and saw that they had an opening at 3:30 pm., same day. Booked the appointment and received my email confirmation. 3:30 rolls around and nobody is showing up. Okay, running late, maybe, but no phone call to tell me that. 4:20 pm and I call and get the same voicemail that I received in the morning. I left a message and still no call back. It's now 5:15 pm and nobody has shown up and I have yet to receive a call. I understand if a project went longer than expected, but to be on radio silence and not call the customer. That's poor customer service. First impressions are important and this is the impression they left with me. Maybe they do good work, but I can't even get them to answer the phone or even show up on a scheduled appointment. read more

I know I am the only negative review in the sea of positives. We booked a visit from Fowler Electric to come check out smoke detector that we thought might have stopped working. And we found them through yelp. Seeing how good their reviews were. Fowler's scheduling told us that the technician will be out there on Feb 17. They charged us $142 for this visit. We waited quite a long time within the visit window for him to show up. When he came he walked in, we told him the situation. He just looked up and told us that we need to replace all of our smoke detectors in the house. We asked him if he was sure this was not working. He said it was dead and that this will be a $350+ job and it will take him 3 hours to be in our house to replace the multiple smoke detectors. We asked him why do we have to replace all. He told us that all should be of the same brand and hard wired together to make sure they work. Honestly something about all of this was raising red flags. The fact that he had no tools, did not bring a ladder, did not inspect it and told us within 5 mins of being inside our house that we need to shell out $300-$400 was not making sense. We told him that we will reach back out if we wanted to get these replaced. As he was leaving he asked us if we want him to "kill" the smoke detector in question. Which was another red flag because just a few minutes ago he had said that the smoke detector was dead and not working. We requested him to not do anything. Next we reached out to our insurance. They sent a guy who was on time. He brought tools, ladder. Looked at the smoke detector and told us that it was just disconnected. He reconnected it. We shared the story about Fowler technician's recommendation to which he said we can replace the detectors if we wanted to but we don't have to. In fact he put on a new smoke detector for no extra charge because we had already paid $100 for him to come out. I feel like I was scammed and charged a heavy $142 fee for someone to just walk into my house, do nothing and try to scam me even more. Please beware of this business. read more

They then rescheduled without my knowledge and randomly showed up the next day after the original appointment. They had available appointments throughout the week, and I was able to make an appointment online. Jared came to the house and inspected our issues. He was very polite and courteous. He tested the problem we had and quoted us almost half the price of what everyone else was quoting (and they didn't even see the project-firsthand). Requested a quote from Fowler for some data/Ethernet runs I wanted to get done in a 2-story home (I'm relatively technical, but running cable between two stories is not something I can do). Received a phone call and email from their team promptly and scheduled a visit that worked for my schedule. Josh was on-site early and was extremely professional. He walked my home with me as I described what I was looking to do. He gave me a ballpark of what this project would cost me and was truly no pressure, "use us if you want or not, totally up to you". I use this same tactic in my business. A client should never be forced to use a vendor because of a contract or a pushy tactic. At this point, it was a great experience. Had this company come out and give me a bid on running a line to a spa. After many phones call and promises a couple of days before the spa was suppose to be delivered they canceled. They claimed the bid was over a year ago which it wasn't and that they were NOT going to do the work. WOW great company , not only did they not follow up but then they just straight up said that they would not be able to help us on our project. These people are FANTASTIC. I had a GFI trip in a house I just bought which knocked out several overheads and outdoor sockets. I just moved here so I did not know that a GFI in the garage could knock out overhead lights in two bathrooms. In the Northeast they do not do things like this. I tested the switches and circuit breakers myself but was STUMPED by this one. Called Fowler who responded within the HOUR. I explained to Brandon my dilemma, and he looked at me and then proceeded to test the outdoor sockets, and went to the garage. OK, I followed sheepishly, and he found a GFI socket behind one of my toolboxes that I did not know even existed! HE SOLVED THE PROBLEM IN UNDER TEN MINUTES!!!!! Wow do I feel like an amateur. I am used to wiring and circuitry, but here in Las Vegas they do things very differently than I am used to. Brandon SAVED ME from a sleepless night as I am very anal and this was not logical. BUT Brandon knew INSTANTLY what the problem was and more importantly WHERE TO LOOK, in places that I never would have thought to look. Let me start off by saying we hired them almost a month ago and I'm still heated by what kind of service we received, I would definitely give them negative stars if I could. I had sent out a project proposal to Electricians to install a phone jack in our apartment because all of the attempts that we tried did not work. We ended up getting MANY responses, but we decided to go with Fowler Electric because they were able to come out SAME DAY and the person we were messaging with was very responsive and professional. We ended up scheduling them for the estimate and they said that if they were able to fix it they would right there and then and we thought great. She said that the electrician could come out between 4-6 P.M that day...Kind of a big gap of time, but we were going to be home and were desperate, so it was fine. He ended up arriving at 5 P.M. His name was Arturo. He asks what needed to be done, what was wrong, blah blah. My fiance tells him that we needed a phone jack installed for our internet and that every attempt we tried to make to connect the wires didn't work...He was so perplexed and had told us that he's never installed one for internet. My fiance proceeded to ask "Have you installed a jack for a phone before?" As he responded yes, my fiance had to explain to him that it was the same thing. So, an hour and a half passes, and 3 jacks later, and he hasn't done one thing! All he did was connect the wires that he thought needed to be connected... What made me THE MOST UPSET ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE is that not only was he using a chart to determine which wires to connect (I thought electricians were supposed to know at least some kind of information about that), but he also used the phone jacks WE bought, not ones that he brought in, and then at the end of it all, he charges us $65. LIKE YOU DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WHY DID YOU CHARGE US MONEY! At that point, we paid him, just so he could leave because it was obvious that he didn't know what he was doing. We literally paid him $65 to come in and attach wires that we've already attached and to use OUR jacks that WE bought with OUR own money. Also, during the middle of the whole ordeal before we knew he was doing nothing with his time, we had asked how much it would be to re-wire the apartment to get a phone line going...He just shrugged it off and told us that it could get expensive. Like okay, I understand that, but how much? I'm just so upset that we paid this guy to do what we literally were doing. I mean he didn't fix anything. He didn't even come in for a "free" estimate, he came in, and started messing with our jacks and thought that was worthy of $65. Also, towards the end, he tells us "Yeah man, I don't know what to tell you. I would call your internet company and ask them to send you a new wire and see if that's the issue." If that were the issue, then we probably wouldn't have hired an electrician. I wouldn't recommend this company to anybody, even if they offer same day service. read more

So ecstatic that I found Fowler and in particular Brandon. His knowledge was a literal life saver. Originally called them out for a quote to run a new line and breaker for a new water heater. Brandon took one look and knew whoever the previous owner used for the electrical work did not understand electrical code at all. Then they had a specialist come out to look at my breaker box and found more shotty work done previously, panel was not to code and my 60 yr old fuses were soooooo degraded and so antique they were crumbling and falling apart in his hands! I had 4 other electrician come out before them, all told me what I wanted couldn't be done and not a single one told me about my failing fuses or that it was not to code. If it wasn't for these guys one short would have been catastrophic. Brandon and Mike came out to do a whole new panel upgrade and I couldn't be happier. The new panel is sooooo pretty!! And organized!!! Mike was ringing my doorbell right on time, to the minute even!
